Company parties in Darmstadt
A factory hall, a congress hall and a hotel cellar each demand a different sound, so I ask beforehand about room size, height and house rules and adapt my setup accordingly. Six venues, from an industrial hall to a congress centre, show how different your company evening in Darmstadt can look.
In Darmstadt, the range of your options runs from the former engine factory in the west, past the congress centre at the Schlossgraben, to the hotel in the hunting lodge on the edge of Kranichstein. Every room brings different ceilings, walls and house rules, and I shape my concept accordingly.
A wide hall needs more sound in reserve than a salon, and in a venue with a house system I first check what it can do. Before you decide on a room, we will talk it through with you and the venue.
The science and congress centre lists congresses, conferences, product presentations, general meetings and trade fairs. For the spectrum hall, the venue states 832 seats with banquet seating and 568 with gala seating. The larger the venue, the earlier we should settle sound and setup together.
The former engine factory lists company events, parties, conferences, dinners and get-togethers. According to the operator, the Motorenhalle measures 600 square metres with a ceiling height of 12 metres and holds about 360 guests; permanently installed technical equipment is available. In such a high hall, I plan the sound after consulting the venue.
The hotel lists business events and celebrations and, besides the Schlosssaal and the Blauer Salon, several meeting rooms. For the switch from conference room to party, I plan with you when the music changes from background to dancing.
According to the Nachbarschaftsheim, the Schlösschen in the Prinz-Emil-Garten rents rooms for company events and lists a hall as well as conference rooms. How much sound system the hall can take, I clarify with the venue beforehand, before I suggest my concept to you.
The studio in the Weststadt lists company events, Christmas parties, seminars and product presentations and advertises high-quality catering. Whether dance floor, buffet and DJ booth fit side by side, we discuss using the floor plans.
The restaurant at the historic Orangerie building lists company parties, according to the operator with 140 seats inside and as many on the garden terrace. If you dine inside and keep celebrating outside, the switch can be planned so that the music moves outside with you.
I took the rooms, occasions and capacity figures from the operators' websites, as of October 2026. Whether your date is free and how many guests fit in the venue, you clarify directly with the operator.

When teams from research, industry and administration celebrate together in Darmstadt, very different tastes meet. So I first ask about the occasion, programme items and age mix of your staff, and then build the flow of the music.
More than 1450 events have shown me how a party opens up best after a long working day: quiet on arrival, building after dinner, open to requests late in the evening. Throughout, I stay available to you and your management if the schedule shifts on the night, and you do not have to prepare a playlist yourself.

I tailor the music to your company, and in the end the dance floor should still be full. Which track works with which generation, I hear in the room and follow up accordingly, instead of working through a list. For the breaks between programme items, too, I discuss suitable accompaniment with you beforehand. For the transition from dinner to party I keep time free, so that a long speech doesn't slow down your evening.

From seventies soul to today's charts, we agree on your program in advance so that your guests hear everything they like over the course of the evening.
Setup takes about 40 minutes, my system needs roughly 2.5 by 1.5 meters of space, and after the last song I clear everything away myself. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) setup takes about 40 minutes.

Even at a gala or an anniversary celebration, the same standard applies as at any company party: the music serves your occasion, not the other way around.

+49 176 700 580 27That depends on the condition and equipment of the house system, which I have described to me beforehand. If it is sufficient, I connect my controller there; otherwise I set up my own PA and tell you in the preliminary talk what I recommend.
No problem, my sound system has headroom, so late confirmations will not stall your evening. My standard system carries up to about 150 guests; if more come, I will tell you in good time and bring in technical partners.
In the preliminary talk you tell me the speaker and the timing, then I lower the music accordingly and hand over the wireless microphone. Afterwards I slowly raise the tempo, so that your guests hardly notice the start of the party.
In high halls I position my speakers so that sound isn't thrown unnecessarily at the walls, and I keep volume and bass down until the guests are spread across the room. With a room sketch I show you beforehand where I'll set up what.
As a rule of thumb, allow four to eight weeks between your enquiry and the date. If a big celebration or a peak-season date is coming up, please write to me earlier. You will get my first reply by the day after your enquiry at the latest, and a binding quote after our initial chat.
Yes, I arrange violin, saxophone, percussion or vocals from my network for you, playing along with my set. In the briefing we decide whether the live act accompanies the reception or opens the dance floor.

Transparency
A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.
My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
