About me
You may still hear it: I'm a northerner, but I've been at home in Bavaria for over two decades. In 1998 I stood behind the decks in clubs for the first time. At some point I outgrew them, and so did the people I had been playing for night after night. They reached marrying age, and I got to be there for them musically again on their most beautiful day. Since 2004 I've been playing almost exclusively at private and corporate celebrations: over 650 weddings, more than 1,450 events in total.
No matter what party you're celebrating, two things matter: a DJ who knows what he's doing, and guests who know how to celebrate. I stay in the background and let the music speak, the dance floor does the rest. Sixties soul next to current house, disco next to Britpop, Otis Redding next to Dua Lipa: it sounds wilder than it is, because good mixing knows no genre, only the right moment. My own edits make that possible, creating transitions that exist on no record. I also pass on my craft: for the DJ Allianz e.V. I occasionally run workshops on custom edits and transitions.
From Salzburg via Nuremberg to Lake Garda and Lake Constance, I'm on the road, whether for a wedding or a corporate party.
How it works
Transparent, personal and free of surprises – this is how we work together, from your inquiry to the last song.
Request a dateDrop me a quick message – via the form, WhatsApp or phone. I'll get back to you within 24 hours. Feel free to share a few details already: date, venue, what you have in mind.
A short video call – no pressure, no sales pitch. We see if the chemistry is right, clarify first details, and you get a direct impression of me. Non-binding, about 20-30 minutes.
You get a personalized quote – transparent and tailored to your event. No fine print, no hidden costs. You decide in your own time.
One week before the event we go through everything by phone: schedule, must-plays, no-plays, special moments. By then everything is known – no open points on the day itself.
I arrive on time, and everything is set up before your guests arrive. You enjoy your evening – I make sure the dance floor is on fire. Until the very last song.

Everything important at a glance. Looking for a DJ in Munich and all of Bavaria? If your question isn't here – just call.
+49 176 700 580 27A full wedding evening starts at approx. €1,500 incl. VAT. Why? A wedding is not an ordinary evening: it requires months of preparation, personal coordination, custom song edits and a DJ who accompanies the evening from the ceremony to the last round – not just one who plays music. The exact costs depend on duration, travel, equipment scope and type of event.
Corporate events have their own price range depending on scope, equipment needs and duration – what matters most is what the evening is meant to achieve. Birthdays and private parties can't be directly derived from weddings – the effort is often more compact, and so the price is more accessible.
Whatever the occasion: it's always worth just asking. I'll look at your event and put together a quote that really fits within 24 hours – no one-size-fits-all package, but tailored to you.
For weddings I recommend 12-18 months' lead time. For corporate events 3-6 months is often enough. In exceptional cases I'm also available for short-notice requests – just call.
No obligation to pay upfront months in advance, no fine print: you decide how you pay – the full amount beforehand, half in advance with the rest on the day of the event, or the full amount only on the night itself, just before I start playing. I'm convinced enough of my work to give you this freedom. SEPA transfer, instant transfer and cash payment against receipt are accepted. Corporate clients receive an invoice after the event with a payment term of 7 days. Credit cards, checks and bills of exchange are not accepted. All details are set out in the booking confirmation and the applicable terms and conditions.
Yes, always. After the first conversation you receive a written offer with all the details – date, venue, scope of services and price. Once you accept, the offer becomes a binding booking confirmation. Legally, this counts as the conclusion of a contract under the terms and conditions, which automatically become part of the booking confirmation and govern everything binding between us – from cancellation terms to liability. Everything transparent, everything in writing, no verbal agreements.
In case of cancellation: more than 90 days before the event, no costs apply. From 46 to 90 days before, 30% of the agreed fee is due, from 31 to 45 days 50%, from 11 to 30 days 80%, and at 10 days or fewer 90%. That sounds like a lot – but it's fair, because the date is blocked for all other inquiries. If I have to cancel myself, an equivalent replacement DJ is arranged on the same terms. If that doesn't work out, payments made are refunded in full. All terms are set out in writing in the booking confirmation and the enclosed terms and conditions – binding and legally secure for both sides.
Spotify costs 10 euros a month. A DJ costs more. The difference isn't in the music – it's in what happens with it.
A playlist just plays through. A DJ reads the room. He sees who's dancing, who's standing, when the energy tips – and reacts in real time. He builds tension, lets it break, brings the dance floor back when it threatens to empty. That doesn't happen by chance – it's a craft that takes over 25 years.
On top of that: no playlist in the world makes announcements, guides you through the evening, introduces the bridal waltz or saves the mood when the catering is an hour late. A good DJ isn't the evening's music player – he's its quiet architect.
Yes, gladly – but not via slips of paper or cards. I work without song request cards, because a pile of slips on the booth doesn't make the evening better – quite the opposite. What really works is a good preliminary talk: before the event we go through must-plays, no-plays and your general taste in music. That's the foundation I then work from live. On the night itself, spontaneous requests are welcome at any time – straight to me, short and personal. If a request fits the current mood on the dance floor, I play it. If it doesn't fit the flow right now, I make a note of it for the right moment. That's the difference from a pure playlist – I read the room and decide live what the dance floor needs.
A week before the event we go through everything by phone: schedule, must-plays, no-plays, special moments. By then everything is known – no open points on the day itself. Just music.
Yes – a microphone is always with me. I take care of announcements such as the couple's entrance, the introduction of the bridal waltz or the opening of the dance floor. How much hosting you want is up to you: from subtle cues to actively guiding the guests – we'll sort that out in the preliminary talk. If you'd rather make announcements yourself, you get the microphone handed over at any time.
No, I don't tear down the dance floor in the middle of the best moment. Within your booked time window there's no rigid closing minute – I read when the party is really over, not a clock. If you want to extend spontaneously, we'll agree on it right on site; it can often be solved easily.
I play on Pioneer or Denon controllers, complemented by a professional PA system from RCF, Electro-Voice or dB Technologies, lighting and two Sennheiser wireless microphones – all included, no hidden surcharge. The equipment always adapts to the requirements of the venue and the number of guests – no nasty surprises here. The standard package covers events of up to about 100 people, and for up to 150 guests my own equipment is also ready to go without any problem. From 150 people or for particularly large venues, I bring an experienced event technology company on board to scale the equipment accordingly. You benefit from my network without having to find or coordinate a second service provider yourselves. For outdoor use such as symbolic wedding ceremonies or similar occasions, a fully self-sufficient battery setup is also available – up to 5 hours without a power connection, completely independent.
Yes – what's known in the industry as a "suitcase gig". Many upscale venues, castles or hotels have permanently installed sound systems and sometimes their own lighting. If the equipment meets the quality demands of your celebration, I'll play on it – no problem.
To be honest, though, there are also venues whose equipment is simply outdated. Old, sonically limited systems that harm the evening more than they help – there I draw a clear line. Playing on equipment that can't deliver decent listening quality is not an option. That wouldn't be fair to your evening or your guests.
My laptop and controller always come along anyway – they're in use at every gig. And my own PA system is always in the car. I never rely blindly on someone else's equipment – if the venue's system doesn't meet my standards, I'm self-sufficient right away.
The upside of a suitcase gig: no big setup means less time, which has a pleasant effect on the quote. We'll clarify what exactly is possible and whether the existing system fits in our initial conversation.
Setup and teardown are always included in the offer – no hidden setup costs. I arrive at least 2 hours before the start, set up and do a sound check. After the event I take everything down on my own.
A normal power outlet near the DJ spot is enough for the equipment – at venues without a power connection, for example in a garden, I use battery operation instead. Often more important is the volume: some venues have fixed decibel limits or limiters that automatically turn the system down. It's best to clarify this with your venue beforehand – otherwise there's a nasty surprise on the night that can't be magicked away.
Yes – I bring a mobile battery setup that works entirely without a power connection. Ideal for symbolic wedding ceremonies, sparkling wine receptions in the garden or venues without electricity. Runtime of up to 5 hours. Just mention it when booking.
Reliability is extremely important to me. Should I be unable to make it in an absolute exception, I have a strong network of experienced DJ colleagues. You're always covered.
I always bring backup equipment to every event – critical components such as controller and laptop are duplicated. A complete system failure is therefore practically ruled out. Should something unforeseen still occur due to force majeure, mutual obligations lapse and payments made are refunded proportionally. This is regulated that way in the terms and conditions – transparent and fair.

Service area
My home is the greater Munich area - here I know the venues, the guests and what people really want to celebrate to.
Regularly as a DJ in Augsburg, Ingolstadt, Landsberg, Memmingen and the entire Bavarian Alpine foothills. Weddings at Tegernsee, Chiemsee, Ammersee and Schliersee are among my favorite venues. For special events also to Baden-Württemberg, Salzburg and Austria.

Ballermann, après-ski, German sing-along hits?
A few songs here and there, if it suits the mood – no problem.
But building a whole evening around them? That's not my thing.
There are DJs who can and want to do that.
There are specialists for that.
Nothing against them.
But that's not what I do.
I'm a specialist in live mixing at demanding events.
For people who understand that music is a craft.
Precise transitions.
The right track at the right moment.
Not just pressing play.
If that doesn't suit you – then I'm not the right one. And that's okay.
If it does – I'd love to.
