Wedding venues around Dachau
I have been playing in the big venues of Upper Bavaria and Swabia for over twenty years, and I know from many conversations what moves couples when it comes to halls and estates. I introduce eight venues around Dachau for your wedding, from the castle in the old town to estates and country inns in the Dachau hinterland.
If you want a church wedding and then keep celebrating without moving elsewhere, an estate in a neighboring municipality offers its own place for it, a hall for 60 to 200 guests and hotel rooms. For a symbolic wedding ceremony under the open sky, an inn in the same municipality has its own ceremony spot, and your guests can stay overnight there in rooms with around 30 beds. If you prefer something more modern, a hall in the region is designed for up to 200 guests and also has a large outdoor area.
I stay your DJ from the vows to the wind-down, even if you move from the ceremony spot to the hall in between. If you have chosen a popular venue, it is best to get in touch with me early.
Above the old town stands Schloss Dachau with a banquet hall, garden hall, terrace and palace garden. Up to 250 guests celebrate in the banquet hall, and a symbolic wedding ceremony is possible in the vestibule. For the sparkling wine reception in the palace garden I use a battery-powered system, so no cable has to run across the lawn.
A spacious courtyard, a symbolic wedding ceremony on the lawn or in the courtyard and an estate chapel with 50 seats are part of Hofgut Sickertshofen. 100 to 180 guests celebrate in the vaulted hall, 60 to 100 in the orangery. I know the venue in Schwabhausen from earlier evenings. Outside, my music runs on battery, so no power socket is needed.
The Hofsaal in Armetshofen is a modern hall with 310 square meters and 1,200 square meters of outdoor space, designed for up to 200 guests. A bar with a tap system and a catering kitchen are included. In a hall of this size I spread the sound across several speakers so it arrives evenly everywhere.
In the village of Stetten you will find Gasthof Lachner with room for about 60 to 170 guests, a stone terrace and an open-air ceremony spot for symbolic wedding ceremonies. Your guests stay overnight in 14 rooms with about 30 beds. I already know the acoustics in Stetten. The stage in the house is meant for a band or DJ, and the dance floor in front of it gets the full sound from me.
Hofgut Edenholzhausen has a barn floor, a vaulted hall for 60 to 200 guests, hotel rooms and an outdoor area. There is a chapel for the church ceremony. Between the chapel and the vaulted hall I coordinate music and schedule so that the switch happens without a pause.
Gut Schloss Sulzemoos near the A8 is a manor farm and castle in one, with a vaulted hall, castle barn and an outdoor area for the reception. It is best to discuss the right number of guests briefly with the venue. From earlier celebrations in Sulzemoos I know how the room fills up. For the vault and the barn I adjust speakers and volume to the acoustics.
In Ampermoching there is a historic stable building with an event hall of around 270 square meters for a maximum of 140 guests, plus a terrace and outdoor area. Weddings with a symbolic wedding ceremony are among the occasions the venue hosts. For the terrace and the hall I arrange the music so that the transition indoors goes unnoticed.
Landgasthof Haagen in Oberroth has a dining hall for up to 100 guests and 20 guest rooms in the main house and guesthouse. Weddings are among the occasions. In a tavern room I keep the setup lean: first quiet background music for the meal, later more punch for dancing.

Who I am
With its old town on the Schlossberg, Dachau is a special place for a wedding, and after more than two decades in Bavaria the town is familiar territory for me, even though I am originally a northerner. My DJ career began in 1998 in clubs, and later couples who had danced there came and asked me for music for their most beautiful day. Since 2004 I have been at home at private and corporate celebrations, including over 650 weddings and more than 1,450 events.
I am not a DJ who pushes himself into the spotlight: the music should speak, and you, with your family and friends, should be the center of attention. Self-made edits bring old and new tracks together without the dance floor noticing where one ends and the other begins. That way the dance floor fills up without anyone having to be pushed.

Request a dateA short message from you is enough, and you will have my reply within 24 hours. We arrange a non-binding video call, settle the date, venue and first ideas there, and afterwards you receive a concrete quote.
Everything important goes into the wedding portal: you enter song requests, no-gos, special moments and the schedule in the web app, which is activated with the booking. Around a week before your big day we check everything by phone.
What happens before the guests arrive? I am there at least two hours earlier, set up the equipment, do the soundcheck and talk to the celebrant or photographer; later nobody notices any of it.
At the entrance, ring exchange and exit, my music creates a goosebump atmosphere without taking over the proceedings. The drinks reception follows with quiet lounge music, and my battery makes it possible to start even in a meadow without power.
Anyone who wants to say something gets a wireless microphone in their hand, and during the meal music provides the right mood. I frame games and surprises musically, and the bouquet toss too, so that every item on the programme has its own sound.
The dance floor belongs first to the two of you, with an edit to your taste. After that I pay attention to the guests, keep tuning the set to them and create atmosphere for all generations until the end of the party.

Fully set up and with the sound check done, I am ready at the latest two hours before your start, and after the celebration I take care of the teardown on my own.

+49 176 700 580 27Your ceremony speaker talks into a wireless microphone from me, so every word reaches even the guests at the very back. I keep the setup for your ceremony small so it does not block the view of you. It runs on battery, so you need no power connection, neither indoors nor outdoors.
I take care of announcements like your entrance, the bridal waltz and opening the dance floor for you. If the father of the bride wants to introduce his speech himself, I hand him the wireless microphone. Whether I also lead through games or program items is something you decide with me in the preliminary talk.
On request, my audio box records your guests' spoken good wishes, and you get them from me afterwards as a file. Guests who would rather leave a picture can use my photo station with props, which runs without supervision and collects everything in a digital gallery. If you also want colored light, I set up uplights in the shade you choose, on request.
For a Saturday in peak season, meaning May to September, 12 to 18 months of lead time is realistic with me. If your date is closer, call me anyway, because even a short-notice inquiry is possible. Whether your date is still free with me, you will hear from me within a day after you have written.
With several generations on the dance floor, I go for open format rather than a single direction. What your grandparents absolutely want to hear and what your friends rule out, we note down in the preliminary talk. A request that does not work at the moment, I keep in mind and play as soon as the moment fits.

This is how I plan with couples from the Dachau area: if you write to me, I get back to you within 24 hours, and we arrange a non-binding video call in which you tell me about the ceremony, the venue and your music ideas. Shortly before the celebration we talk on the phone once more, and on the wedding day I arrive at least two hours before the start, set up and check the sound.
