Wedding venues in and around Weilheim

Weddings in Weilheim.

Whether it's a meadow at the edge of the forest, a hall in a converted barn or a park in Peißenberg: where the speakers go at your wedding depends on the venue, and we talk about that early on. Eight venues in the Pfaffenwinkel are ready for your wedding day, from the vaulted hall at the Osterseen lakes to the ballroom in Wessobrunn, and each gets a different setup from me.

Estate, forest edge or hall: Weddings in Weilheim

If you're looking for grounds with room for several stations, nearby you'll find an estate with three buildings, a park and a pool that lists weddings among its occasions. If you'd like to marry outdoors at the edge of the forest, an event estate in the region offers a meadow for it and holds between 70 and 150 guests indoors with exclusive use. If nobody should have to drive after the party, in the town itself you'll find a hotel with a restaurant, a hall and rooms.

For every move outdoors I take my battery setup, which lasts up to five hours without mains power and ties you to no power socket. Tell me how your day should unfold, and you'll get my reply within 24 hours.

Gut Staltach

An den Osterseen, Iffeldorf

Right on the Osterseen lakes in Iffeldorf lies the event estate with a vaulted hall for 50 to 150 people. For a symbolic wedding ceremony the large meadow at the edge of the forest is available, and only one celebration takes place per weekend. For the reception outdoors I use a battery-powered system so that no cable runs across the meadow.

Pöltner Hof

Pollinger Straße 4 und 6, Weilheim

In the middle of Weilheim you celebrate at the Pöltner Hof, whose hall in the former threshing barn holds up to 150 guests. A rustic hall for up to 100 guests, three parlours, a beer garden and hotel rooms are also part of the house. I know the room in Weilheim myself from previous celebrations. In the barn I set up the dance floor so that it stays the centre of attention against the backdrop of wooden beams.

Gut Ammerhof

Berghof 2-3, Peißenberg

On six hectares in Peißenberg lie three detached buildings, surrounded by the river Ammer, with a park, pavilion, König-Ludwig-Salon and pool. The estate hosts weddings and, if you wish, also holds them with a church ceremony. In the evening I move from the park to the salon without the music breaking off.

Alte Post zu Pähl

Ammerseestraße 3, Pähl

The Alte Post in Pähl am Ammersee has a large hall for about 140 guests, plus parlours for 60, 40 and 20 people and a terrace on the Burgleitenbach stream. The venue hosts weddings on a grand scale and in intimate circles. I've played in Pähl several times before. I coordinate the terrace and the hall so that the transition from the champagne reception to the dancing works seamlessly.

Landgasthof zur Post

Zöpfstraße 2, Wessobrunn

In the Wessobrunn country inn Landgasthof zur Post, ceiling paintings from 1693 adorn the ballroom, and there are also smaller parlours and hotel rooms for the guests. The venue hosts weddings. Beneath the old paintings I keep the sound soft so the room doesn't echo and the speeches come across well.

Gasthaus Sonne

Hauptstraße 92, Peißenberg

In Peißenberg the Gasthaus Sonne has, besides the ballroom, a restaurant for up to 60 guests, an alpine hut for 80 and a small parlour for up to 35, plus hotel rooms. For your wedding, depending on the number of guests, either the alpine hut or the hall fits. I know the venue in Peißenberg from previous evenings. In the alpine hut slim equipment is enough, one that doesn't overpower the wood.

Gasthof Zechenschenke

Zechenstraße 2, Peiting

The Eggerstadel of the Zechenschenke in Peiting holds up to 250 guests and has a stage, a screen and Wi-Fi. The Great Hall takes 80 people, and a beer garden belongs to the inn. For the large groups in the barn I distribute the speakers across the room and leave space at the front for the stage and the couple.

Griesbräu

Murnau am Staffelsee

The vaulted hall in the Murnauer Griesbräu dates from 1836, measures 250 square metres and holds 80 to 120 adults. The venue has a hotel for overnight guests and is a listed building. In the vaulted hall I choose the volume according to the reverberation and keep conversations at the table possible.

The details come from the venues' own websites (as of October 2026). Please have the venue confirm the room and date before you book.

Symbolic wedding ceremony in Weilheim

I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.

For your symbolic wedding ceremony, Gut Staltach offers the meadow at the edge of the forest, sheltered and quiet, with the Bierstadl for the celebration evening afterwards. How your entrance should begin musically, we'll discuss calmly beforehand.

Who I am

Servus, that's me, Micha.

Weilheim lies in the Pfaffenwinkel at the edge of the Alps, with the Marienplatz and the Mariensäule column at its centre, and anyone celebrating here has the mountains in view. My own view in 1998, however, was first of clubs, where I stood at the booth and learned to sense the mood in the room. The guests from back then eventually became couples, and suddenly I got to look after them musically again on their most beautiful day.

Since 2004 it's been almost exclusively private and corporate celebrations, over 650 weddings so far, more than 1,450 events in total. I stay in the background and let the music do the talking. Edits I've built myself make songs flow into one another, and such transitions become moments you'll gladly look back on.

  1. Enquiry & first chat

Let us begin with your enquiry: I will get back to you within 24 hours. In the video call, where there is no sales pressure, we discuss the date, place and first wishes, whether meadow or barn floor, and you get a quote.

  2. Booking & portal access

After the booking, your planning begins in the private wedding portal, a web app for song requests, no-gos, schedule and special moments. Shortly before the celebration, about a week beforehand, I pick up the phone and we sort everything out.

  3. Set-up & sound check

At least two hours before the start I am already in the room or on the meadow setting up. The soundcheck is done, the celebrant and photographer are informed, and for the guests everything runs invisibly in the background.

  4. Ceremony & reception

Even on the meadow at the edge of the forest my system works on battery. The entrance, exchange of rings and exit get music that creates atmosphere, and quiet lounge music plays at the drinks reception so you can talk with everyone.

  5. Dinner & programme items

With me, dinner time means quiet, atmospheric music. Anyone who wants to speak gets a wireless microphone, and games, surprises and the bouquet toss are introduced and rounded off with fitting music.

  6. Opening dance & party

So that all generations celebrate together, I watch the dance floor and adjust the set on the spot according to the mood, right to the end. Your first dance, for which you choose the edit yourselves, sets the opening.

Your wedding lives from the people in the room, so I follow their mood with the music, hold back modestly and speak only during speeches and programme items, with more hosting if needed.

I bathe your venue in your chosen colour with LED uplights, and over the course of the evening I adapt the light to the music.

Equipment that doesn't stand out

Two wireless microphones and lighting are part of my equipment for your celebration, just like a controller from Denon or Pioneer and a PA system from RCF or Electro-Voice.

Audio guest book

On a retro telephone I provide, your guests record short greetings, which I then hand over to you afterwards as a separate audio file.

Music genres

I combine today's songs for your playlist with classics from the 70s and 90s, I collect your wishes in advance, and I deliberately do without request slips during the celebration.

Set-up and tear-down without any effort from you

About two hours before your first guests arrive, my equipment is completely set up and checked, and I take care of the teardown after the celebration just as independently.

At your symbolic wedding ceremony my equipment provides the sound for the entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit entirely without a power socket, purely on battery.

I put together a photo booth, uplights, the audio guest book or additional live music as you wish and take care of all the coordination.

What couples in Weilheim want to know.

What happens to the music if we change rooms for the dancing in Weilheim?

If there is no power at the spot for your reception, the music there runs on my battery setup. I set up my main system in the room for the dancing, because I'm on site at least two hours before you begin and do the sound check there. When everyone moves to the other room, I announce it on the microphone and guide your guests through the schedule that way.

Who announces the witnesses' speeches and the game after the meal at our wedding?

I announce your entrance, as well as the bridal waltz and the moment the dance floor opens. For your witnesses' speeches I have a wireless microphone ready, which I hand over at the right moment. How much I host during the game myself and what your witnesses would rather handle on their own, we decide in the preliminary conversation.

Do we need someone to operate the photo booth for our guests in the evening?

My photo booth runs automatically, your guests operate it themselves and reach for the props provided. It collects all your guests' pictures in a digital gallery. If you'd like the hall to glow in colour in the evening as well, I'll set up LED uplights in your chosen colour.

Can we party longer if all our guests are staying overnight at the venue's hotel anyway?

I don't fix the last song in advance, I watch your dance floor rather than the clock. If you still feel like one more round in the evening, we decide on the extension together while you celebrate. I take care of the teardown on my own after the last dance, none of your guests has to lend a hand.

Do you still bring everything if our hall already has its own sound system?

My laptop and my controller come along in any case, even if a system is already installed in the hall. If the venue's system doesn't sound the way I need it for your dancing, I switch straight to my own. That's why my PA is always in the car, because I don't blindly rely on someone else's speakers on your day.

Even more options

DJ+ – live musicians right inside my mix.

For your wedding in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria I bring percussion, vocals, saxophone or violin from my network straight into my set. Which moment suits it, from the champagne reception to the opening dance, you can best tell me shortly before your celebration.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Sparkling wine reception · First dance

DJ + saxophone

On a meadow at the edge of the forest, a saxophone sounds natural and soft, and your drinks reception gains a relaxed, summery lightness.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

In the evening around the pool and park, percussion blends into the beat, creates a holiday feeling and lets the guests dance with abandon.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Entrance · special moments

DJ + vocals

In the rustic threshing barn, a live voice fills the wooden beams with warmth and turns the first dance into a moment that everyone feels.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Ceremony · bride's entrance

DJ + violin

The violin frames your ceremony at the edge of the forest with quiet melodies and lets the moment of the vows float among the trees.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

Live music for the reception or dinner, and then a full DJ night anyway? Through my network I can arrange a well-rehearsed band, from a duo to a quartet, with vocals, guitar, piano, percussion or saxophone. Because everything is planned by one person, there is one point of contact, one sound concept and no gap between band and DJ.

Who i'm not the right DJ for

    Ballermann, après-ski, schlager hits?
A few songs here and there if it suits the mood – no problem.
But build a whole evening on them? That's not my thing.

There are DJs who can and want to do that.
    There are specialists for it.
    Nothing against them.
But it's not what I do.

I'm a specialist in live mixing at demanding events.
For people who understand that music is a craft.
    Precise transitions.
The right track at the right moment.
    Not just pressing play.

If that doesn't suit you – then I'm not the right person. And that's okay.
If it does – I'd love to.
