Michael Zimmermann at the DJ booth – wedding DJ for Ingolstadt

Wedding DJ Ingolstadt · Events since 2004

Your wedding DJ takes care of Ingolstadt.

I am Michael Zimmermann, wedding DJ, and I make sure your wedding in Ingolstadt sounds the way you imagine it, from the ceremony to the final song. For more than 25 years I have made music for celebrations, at weddings since 2004, and of over 1,450 events, more than 650 have been weddings. Whether you celebrate by the lake, in a hotel or at an event venue, I bring my equipment and set it up so that it does not get in your way.

Wedding venues in Ingolstadt

Weddings in Ingolstadt & surroundings.

I have experienced the region's big venues from the inside over a good two decades, whether by the lake or in a hotel, and you benefit from that in the planning. From the lakeside terrace at the Auwaldsee to the vaulted cellar in Wolkertshofen, I present eight venues around Ingolstadt here, and each one demands a different setup from me.

From the lake to the grand hall: wedding in Ingolstadt

If you want a symbolic ceremony by the water, around Ingolstadt you will find two venues where the ceremony takes place right at the lake and the celebration then continues in the hall. At one of them you stay under one roof after the yes, because there is a hall for up to 500 people and a smaller one for up to 100.

At the other venue, a fallback spot is ready for your ceremony in case of rain, and the hall there is set up with a dance floor, DJ booth and stage for up to 250 guests. For the I do on the shore, I rely on battery power with no mains connection, and the compact setup doesn't intrude on the picture of your ceremony. I'll agree the entrance, ring exchange and exit with you beforehand, so every track starts at exactly the right moment, before you walk over to the hall together.

Traditional inn at the Auwaldsee

Am Auwaldsee 20, Ingolstadt

Banquet halls and a lakeside terrace at the Auwaldsee: the Large Banquet Hall holds up to 500 people, the small one up to 100. For the symbolic wedding ceremony, the lake itself is ready. On the lakeside terrace, soft music plays during the reception, and in the hall I distribute the sound so that even the tables at the back can hear it.

Birkenheide

Birkenheide 1, Geisenfeld

A small lake, a pavilion and a banquet hall for up to 250 people: that's Birkenheide near Geisenfeld. The symbolic wedding ceremony takes place on the ceremony meadow by the water, and if it rains you move into the greenhouse. I'm already familiar with Geisenfeld as a place to celebrate. For dancing there is a stage, a dance floor and a DJ booth, and I tailor the rest to your guests.

Maritim Hotel Ingolstadt

Schloßlände 24, Ingolstadt

The Maritim Hotel stands right on the Schloßlände, and weddings there are possible for up to 200 people. From the roof terrace with its bar, the view takes in the Neues Schloss. For the reception upstairs I use a battery-powered system with no socket needed, and later the evening gets the full dance floor indoors.

Der Heidehof

Ingolstädter Str. 121, Gaimersheim

The Heidehof in Gaimersheim is a four-star superior hotel with the MaxWell restaurant and rooms for weddings and banquets. 113 rooms and suites are available for overnight stays. I know the venue in Gaimersheim from previous gigs. During dinner I keep the sound quiet, and toward the dance floor it gets fuller.

Schlosswirt Etting

Schlossgasse 8, Etting

In the Etting district of Ingolstadt, a family business now in its fourth generation runs the Schlosswirt, with small parlours for family celebrations and wedding parties. Ask the venue how many guests the room is meant for. In the parlours a slim setup is enough, one that doesn't drown out the conversations at the table.

Gasthof Peterwirt

Dorfstraße 2, Unsernherrn

Next to the Gasthof Peterwirt in Unsernherrn there is a hall of its own where weddings are celebrated. The inn has 14 rooms, and a beer garden in summer. In Unsernherrn I've already experienced the atmosphere in the room myself. You can quickly check the guest capacity of the hall with the venue, and then I'll size the sound system to the room.

Das Nest Ingolstadt

Am Auwaldsee 20, Ingolstadt

A vintage event venue with a conservatory, garden and club room at the Auwaldsee, which makes weddings with a special style possible. You can ask the venue directly for the exact guest capacity. For the conservatory and garden, I adjust the music and volume to each area.

Gasthaus Stark

Dorfstraße 17, Wolkertshofen

In Wolkertshofen you'll find the Gasthaus Stark with a vaulted wedding hall for up to 90 people, dance floor included. In a vaulted room the sound carries far, so I keep the volume down and give the dance floor punch exactly where it's needed.

The details come from the venues' own websites (as of October 2026). Please have the venue confirm the room and date before you book.

Symbolic wedding ceremony in Ingolstadt

I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.

For your symbolic wedding ceremony, Birkenheide near Geisenfeld has a ceremony meadow right by the lake, with the greenhouse as your fallback if it rains, and the Wirtshaus am Auwaldsee also offers the ceremony by the water. We'll work out together how the entrance should sound musically.

Who I am

Servus, that's me, Micha.

Ingolstadt is a fortress and university city on the Danube with a largely preserved old town, and for a wedding there I bring my own story: in 1998 I started out in clubs, not as a hobby but as my apprenticeship years. There I watched what gets people dancing, and I still carry that knowledge into every evening today.

Since 2004 I've played almost exclusively at private and corporate celebrations: over 650 weddings so far, and more than 1,450 events in total. What should stay in your memory later is how the couple beamed and how the family danced hand in hand, not who was at the controls. My own edits create transitions you don't hear but only feel.

How it works

From your enquiry to the last hour of your wedding in Ingolstadt.

  1. Enquiry & first chat

A short enquiry is all it takes at the start. I get back to you within 24 hours, we meet for an informal video call about getting to know each other, the date and the venue, and then my quote follows.

  2. Booking & portal access

About a week before the big day, we go through everything once more by phone. Your portal serves as the basis, a web app where, after booking, you enter song requests, schedule and special details.

  3. Set-up & sound check

The equipment, microphones and speakers are ready at least two hours before the start, the sound check is done and so is the briefing with the photographer or celebrant. When your guests arrive, there is no sign of the equipment.

  4. Ceremony & reception

From the entrance through the exchange of rings to the exit, I give the ceremony its sound, as a mood and not as an official act. Outside, the battery is enough for me, and at the drinks reception subtle lounge music plays for clinking glasses and chatting.

  5. Dinner & programme items

My dinner sound is calm and atmospheric, so that conversation at the table stays at the centre. With the wireless microphone, speeches are no problem, and I frame every item on the programme, from games to the bouquet toss, with music.

  6. Opening dance & party

To kick things off, there is your opening dance to an edit of your choice. Then I watch how the floor responds, change the programme spontaneously and make sure all generations celebrate along until the end.

Frequently asked questions

What couples in Ingolstadt want to know.

These are the questions couples ask me most often, and if yours is missing, just give me a call. All questions and answers →

+49 176 700 580 27
Do you need your own PA if our hall already has a stage plus sound and projection equipment?

My laptop and controller always travel with me, no matter how well equipped your hall already is. My own PA is in the car anyway, and if the system in the venue doesn't meet my standards, I'm self-sufficient without delay. If the existing equipment sounds good, the playback source alone is enough for me, and the big setup is skipped, which saves you time on the day.

How much equipment do you need if we celebrate near Ingolstadt in a vaulted room with 90 guests?

With 90 guests you're clearly below the 150 people I cover with my own equipment, so no additional technical company is needed. My basic equipment includes lighting and two wireless microphones, so you don't have to rent anything extra for speeches under the vaulted ceiling. I mix on a Pioneer or Denon controller, and my speakers come from dB Technologies, RCF or Electro-Voice.

Can we dance longer if we celebrate in the hotel and many guests are staying there overnight?

I don't plan a fixed cut-off point for your evening; the dance floor decides when it ends. If you want to extend spontaneously, just talk to me at the booth and we'll sort it out right there. Once the last song has faded, I pack up on my own, and you can focus entirely on your guests.

What happens to 200 music requests if our university friends all upload something for the dance floor?

In the wedding portal you create your wish list, your no-go list and your must-plays for the special moments. Realistically, at most 60 of 200 uploaded tracks make it into my set on a wedding evening, and I'd rather tell you that honestly beforehand. I read your taste from the list, and it flows into my set plan while the dramaturgy of the evening stays intact.

Does the music carry on upstairs if we plan the sparkling wine reception on a roof terrace and the meal in the hall?

Two areas in one evening are something I go through with you by phone a week beforehand, including the moment when your guests move downstairs. I arrive at least two hours before the start and take care of setup and soundcheck, so that everything sounds right upstairs when your first guests arrive. I always have a backup system with me, so there's no silence on the dance floor when the move downstairs happens.

Even more options

DJ+ – live musicians right inside my mix.

I bring in saxophone, percussion, vocals or violin from my network and weave the musicians seamlessly into my set for Ingolstadt. Whether that fits at the sparkling wine reception, the entrance, during your symbolic wedding ceremony or only for the opening dance, we'll agree together in the preliminary conversation.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Sparkling wine reception · First dance

DJ + saxophone

By the water a saxophone sounds especially clear after the ceremony and turns the walk to the drinks reception into a little stroll full of music.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

Percussion gives the party phase in the hall a club character and makes sure the dance floor does not settle down after midnight.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Entrance · special moments

DJ + vocals

In the large banquet hall a live voice carries your first dance to the very last row and gives the celebration the splendour of a gala evening.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Ceremony · bride's entrance

DJ + violin

On the roof terrace with a view over the city violin playing feels romantic and stylish, especially when you gather there for dinner or photos.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

Live music for the reception or dinner, and then a full DJ night anyway? Through my network I can arrange a well-rehearsed band, from a duo to a quartet, with vocals, guitar, piano, percussion or saxophone. Because everything is planned by one person, there is one point of contact, one sound concept and no gap between band and DJ.

Who i'm not the right DJ for

    Ballermann, après-ski, schlager hits?
A few songs here and there if it suits the mood – no problem.
But build a whole evening on them? That's not my thing.

There are DJs who can and want to do that.
    There are specialists for it.
    Nothing against them.
But it's not what I do.

I'm a specialist in live mixing at demanding events.
For people who understand that music is a craft.
    Precise transitions.
The right track at the right moment.
    Not just pressing play.

If that doesn't suit you – then I'm not the right person. And that's okay.
If it does – I'd love to.
