Wedding venues in and around Eichstätt
A banquet hall with a stage and a vaulted room in the Altmühl Valley require different setups, and for your wedding I think early with you about where my system should stand. Eight venues from the town of Eichstätt to Beilngries and Kipfenberg are ready for your wedding, from the castle to the brewery inn.
For a symbolic wedding ceremony, a castle in the region offers its hall or the garden, and you can also have a religious ceremony there. In the town itself there is a venue with a hall and stage as well as a smaller side hall, and the operating family takes care of your meal there. An inn in the Altmühl Valley hosts weddings in a large hall with a stage, and up to 180 of your guests find room there at round tables.
No matter which of the three venues you choose, my music carries on from the moment of your ceremony until the last round is over. It starts with a non-binding video call in which you describe your plans for the castle, inn or hall to me.
A baroque carriage house, terrace and garden belong to the castle in Hofstetten, and the venue also offers accommodation for the wedding party. You can have a symbolic wedding ceremony in the Knights' Hall or the castle garden, and a religious ceremony is also possible. For the symbolic wedding ceremony in the garden my music runs on battery, completely without a power socket.
On the Residenzplatz lies the Altes Stadttheater with a banquet hall including a stage and the smaller Holbeinsaal. The venue celebrates weddings as well as baptisms, communions and milestone birthdays, and the catering comes from the family that runs the venue. I have already played in Eichstätt quite a few times. I amplify speeches from the stage so that they can be understood well throughout the banquet hall.
A vault from the seventeenth century shapes the inn in Wolkertshofen, and up to 90 guests celebrate there including the dance floor. A hayloft and an inner courtyard for the champagne reception are included, and 9 guest rooms let the celebration last longer. In the vaulted room I aim the speakers so that the dance floor gets full sound and the tables are not overwhelmed.
A banquet hall of 330 square meters and a stage of 30 square meters form the heart of the inn in Grösdorf, a district of Kipfenberg. With round tables, up to 180 guests are seated at weddings, and the hall holds up to 250 in total. I know the venue in Grösdorf from earlier evenings. On this large floor space I distribute the sound so that nobody at the back walks away and nobody at the front gets shouted at in the ear.
The banquet hall of the country inn in Paulushofen is air-conditioned and holds about 200 guests, and a sound system and a mobile stage are included. Those who stay overnight find 39 rooms in the house, and a beer garden awaits in the quiet courtyard. I tune my system to the existing sound system so that speeches and the first dance come across cleanly.
In the old town of Beilngries lies the Fuchsbräu, a hotel with 71 rooms in six buildings. For weddings the Historic Hall is available for up to 80 guests, and outside the beer garden holds up to 120 guests and has a dance floor. I already know the acoustics in Beilngries. Between the hall and the beer garden I set up the music so that the switch to the dance floor outside works seamlessly.
At the brewery inn with hotel rooms you celebrate in the Malztenne with up to 70 guests or in the Hahnenstube with up to 40. Up to 70 guests also fit in the courtyard garden, there is a self-service beer fountain in the courtyard, and the rose garden is suitable for the reception. In the Malztenne the dance floor gets its own sound zone next to the tables.
In Schernfeld the inn's hall takes up to 220 people and can be arranged to your wishes. There is also a smaller room, rooms to stay overnight and a summer terrace. With a hall of this size I plan two sound zones, one for the meal and one for the dance floor.

I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.
For your symbolic wedding ceremony, the Knights' Hall or the castle garden are open to you at Schloss Hofstetten, with a celebration afterwards in the baroque carriage house. How your entrance should sound musically, we talk through calmly beforehand.
Who I am
Eichstätt has a baroque townscape in the Altmühl Valley Nature Park, shaped by the cathedral and the residence, and those who marry here usually already have an idea of what the day should look like. My idea is to stay in the background and let the music do the talking. I started in clubs in 1998 and learned there that nothing connects people like a good transition.
Since 2004 I have played almost exclusively at private and corporate celebrations, over 650 weddings so far, more than 1,450 events in total. With my own edits I can connect songs that would otherwise never be mentioned in the same breath. With a bit of luck, what stays with you in the end is above all the feeling of having celebrated together, and your heart opens up.

Request a dateAfter your enquiry it takes one day at most until you hear from me. In the video call, which remains non-binding, we settle the date, venue and ideas, and my concrete quote follows right afterwards.
Anyone who has booked gets access to the personal wedding portal, a web app where you enter special moments, the running order, no-gos and song ideas. In the week before, we speak by phone and clarify every detail.
Being there early enough matters to me, so I am on site at least two hours beforehand. I set up the equipment, do the soundcheck, have a quick word with the celebrant and photographer, and for the guests everything stays out of sight.
For the ceremony I choose music that atmospherically accompanies the entrance, ring exchange and exit. At the drinks reception that follows, lounge music stays quietly in the background, and outside in the garden or anywhere without power, my battery keeps things running.
I make sure pleasant music plays during the meal and that speeches come across well via wireless microphone. Games, surprises and the bouquet toss are not left to chance; every item gets its music.
You dance the opening dance to an edit that you pick. Then I see what the dance floor needs, orient the song selection spontaneously towards it and keep all age groups moving until the end.

At the entrance, exchange of rings and exit my cordless battery equipment works reliably, no matter whether you marry indoors or outdoors.
An audio guest book, uplights, live instruments or a photo station can be added as well, and I discuss the fine-tuning with you personally.

+49 176 700 580 27An inn in the region names weddings as an occasion, it has an inner courtyard with a champagne reception, and up to 90 of your guests find room in its vaulted room including the dance floor. I go with you with my music from the I do to the end of the celebration, even if you change rooms in between. I coordinate the timing of the move from the courtyard to the vaulted room in advance with the venue and your other service providers.
Out of 200 uploaded requests, realistically at most 60 will get their turn at your wedding, and I tell you that beforehand. What your guests like to hear, I take into my planning of the evening as a picture of their taste, while the dramaturgy stays untouched. A song that does not fit the mood at the moment, I set aside for a more suitable moment.
I do not set a rigid ending for you; what matters to me is what happens on the dance floor, not watching the clock. If after midnight the wish arises to dance longer, I sort that out briefly with you on the spot. A castle in the region, which lists wedding receptions and celebrations among its occasions, offers overnight stays for your guests.
Tracks from the 70s are part of my range just like the current charts, and we decide in advance what mix you have in mind. I have R&B in my repertoire for your roommates, and electro swing is among my genres as well. For the switch between older tracks and R&B I build transitions from my own edits, the kind you will not find on any record.
I have laptop and controller ready in duplicate, and if one fails, I use the second device. In addition I bring a backup system so that there is never silence on your dance floor. I have had a short-notice failure exactly once in 25 years behind the desk.

I begin with a first conversation in which you tell me about the ceremony location, guest count and venue, and then I propose a schedule for the music that we refine together. On the wedding day my setup is finished before your reception begins, and I do the final sound check in peace.
