Wedding venues around Augsburg
I know the big venues around Augsburg from a quarter of a century behind the booth, and I pass this knowledge of halls, estates and schedules on to you. I'll introduce eight venues for celebrating in Augsburg, from the tea hall of the city-centre hotel to the estate in Kissing.
For your small circle, a traditional hotel in the city centre has a room for 30 to 90 guests, and for large weddings the same venue lists up to 300. If you want more space, an estate dating from 1805 has two halls of about 440 square metres each, and no second event runs there at the same time. If you need even more floor space, an event venue in the city offers three rooms with a total area of 2,240 square metres, and the operator lists weddings as an occasion there.
Whichever of these rooms you choose, I coordinate with the venue and your other suppliers myself beforehand. If you wish, my LED uplights change colour over the course of the celebration, adapting to the music.
In the middle of the city centre, the traditional hotel has twelve event rooms. Under the glass dome of the tea hall with its stage and dance floor, up to 300 guests celebrate at weddings, while the Musikantenzimmer holds 30 to 90. I align the sound so that it fills the dance floor and still allows conversation at the tables.
The estate dating from 1805 has two halls of about 440 square metres each, the Böhmisches Gewölbe and the Heustock, plus an inner courtyard. Up to about 300 guests celebrate here, and only one event runs at a time. I know the conditions in Augsburg from my own experience. I distribute the speakers in the hall so that speeches and dance floor come across equally well everywhere.
The event venue in Augsburg has three rooms with a combined 2,240 square metres, hosting galas and corporate events as well as weddings and private parties. With this much space I put the dance floor in the spotlight with its own lighting so that it doesn't get lost in the large room.
Right by the water lies the restaurant with event venue, where symbolic ceremony, sparkling wine reception and celebration are all possible in one place. Augsburg is already familiar to me as a place to celebrate. For the outdoor reception a battery-powered system without a power outlet is enough, and for the party the large system takes over indoors.
High above the rooftops and opposite the WWK Arena lies the Weitblick oben event room with its sky walk. Up to 300 people celebrate on about 410 square metres, and the Tafeldecker host weddings there. For the location right at the top I plan a slim setup so there's quickly room to dance after the meal.
In the Kissing district of Mergenthau lies the estate, where the threshing floor is drive-in and measures more than 600 square metres, while the old vaulted cellar holds up to 100 people. A symbolic wedding ceremony is possible in the rose pavilion, and there are 500 parking spaces on site. I know the venue in Kissing from earlier gigs. For the rose pavilion a quiet setup without cable runs is enough, and in the threshing floor and cellar I set up the sound separately.
At the Friedberger See the event venue has room for about 40 to 250 guests, with a stage, screen, lighting system and terrace. It is booked for weddings and engagement parties, and a symbolic wedding ceremony is possible. I accompany the entrance, ring exchange and exit with songs that I start at exactly the right moment.
At the foot of the Fugger castle lies the Schlossgaststätte with a country-house ambience, with room for up to 140 people, a sun terrace and a beer garden. Weddings are celebrated here as well as communions. I coordinate the music between terrace, beer garden and dining room so that it fits everywhere.

I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.
If you'd like a symbolic wedding ceremony, there are several addresses around Augsburg for it: the Bootshaus am Kuhsee, Gut Mergenthau with its rose pavilion, and the Royal am See in Friedberg. How the ceremony should sound musically, we work out together, and I plan the entrance and exit with you.
Who I am
Augsburg is the third-largest city in Bavaria and lies on the Lech, Wertach and Singold, and from Aichach I'm with you in no time. My path began in 1998 in the club. Later the people from those nights reached marrying age, and suddenly I was playing at their weddings. Since 2004 that has grown to over 650, out of more than 1,450 events in total.
From the club I brought a feeling for the moment: a song too early takes the tension out of the dance floor, a song too late lets it fizzle out. With my own edits I build bridges between tracks that don't sit next to each other on any record. I stay in the background, because what you should remember later is how the whole family celebrated, not what the DJ looked like.

Request a dateYou will get a reply from me the day after your enquiry arrives. In the video call with no sales pressure we get to know each other, discuss the venue, date and first ideas, and afterwards you will receive a concrete quote.
After booking, your personal portal is waiting for you, a web app for music requests, no-gos, the running order and special moments. A week before the date I call and we check every detail.
I allow at least two hours for set-up and soundcheck so that the equipment sits perfectly by the water or in the hall. I coordinate with the celebrant and photographer beforehand, and when the guests arrive everything stays out of sight.
Subtle lounge music turns the drinks reception into relaxed chatting, and before that I provide the atmosphere for the entrance, ring exchange and exit. Even outdoors without a power connection it works, because the system runs on battery.
So that the evening flows without breaks, every item on the programme gets music that suits it: a calm mood during the meal, a wireless microphone for speeches and fitting sounds for games, surprises and the bouquet toss.
Only once your edit for the opening dance has faded do I open the dance floor to all guests. Then I see what is working, vary the set live and make sure young and old celebrate together right up to the final number.

For the entrance and exit I start each track exactly when you need it, the ring exchange included. If you toast outdoors afterwards, the same battery setup also works for your sparkling wine reception.
I host you and your guests through the programme items after dinner. My two wireless microphones are ready for your speeches, so even a duo can speak side by side. If part of the schedule runs late, I make sure your guests' mood doesn't drop.
On request my photo station offers instant printing, so your guests hold their picture in their hands right away. All shots also end up in a digital gallery, I bring props, and the station runs automatically. If you'd also like phone pictures to come together without an app, I recommend Feierblick, though that isn't booked through me.
My range starts at the 70s and ends at the current charts, and we agree beforehand which decades play how often at your wedding. Electro swing is among my genres just like R&B, so there's something for your friends too. For the transitions I build my own edits in the days before your celebration, made for that one evening only.
I always bring a second system so your dance floor never stays silent. For your evening I also pack a second laptop and a second controller. That way I can practically rule out your music failing altogether.

This is how I plan with couples from Augsburg: I reply to your enquiry within 24 hours and invite you to a non-binding video call in which we go through venue, schedule and first music wishes. About a week before the celebration we go through everything once more by phone, and on the wedding day I'm with you at least two hours before the start, setting up and testing the sound.
