Wedding venues in and around Landsberg am Lech

Weddings in Landsberg am Lech.

Weddings in the area's large venues, from castle halls to festival halls, have been familiar to me for more than two decades, and that experience goes into your planning. For your wedding around Landsberg am Lech I introduce seven venues, from the vaulted cellar in town to castles and farms in the surrounding countryside, and each one calls for its own setup.

The setting sets the tone: wedding in Landsberg am Lech

If you're looking for a setting with its own character, the place helps decide which music suits your evening, and around Landsberg am Lech the choice is wide. There you'll find a castle with its own brewery and festival halls, another castle with a hall for 40 to 120 guests, and a bar with a club feel including lighting and sound equipment.

In the castle with the brewery I set up my system differently than in the bar with a club feel, because it follows the room and the number of your guests. If a theme suits your celebration, we'll discuss in our preliminary talk which music belongs to it and which songs must not be played under any circumstances. Before your first guests arrive, I have set up and finished the sound check; I allow at least two hours for that.

Schloss Kaltenberg

Schloßstraße 10, Kaltenberg/Geltendorf

Schloss Kaltenberg includes its own brewery, the Ritterschwemme and several festival halls, and wedding celebrations in a fairytale atmosphere are part of the venue. Which hall suits you, you clarify briefly with the venue. After that, I lay out the system and dance floor to fit the hall.

Schloss Igling

Igling

In Igling you celebrate in a former brewery with a view of the castle. The vaulted hall holds 40 to 120 guests, and there is also a terrace and rooms in the castle, so the evening can run long. I already know the acoustics in Igling. For the outdoor sparkling-wine reception I use a battery-powered system, so no cable runs across the terrace.

MORITZ Tapas Bar Events

Waitzinger Wiese 2, Landsberg am Lech

In the middle of Landsberg you'll find MORITZ, a vaulted cellar with a dance floor as well as lighting and sound equipment. Weddings are explicitly part of what they offer, and the celebration and dancing happen under one roof. Because lighting and sound are already there, I coordinate my equipment with the venue and only add what is missing.

Hotel Waitzingers

Waitzinger Wiese 2, Landsberg am Lech

Hotel Waitzingers is housed in a brewery building from the early 19th century, with a restaurant, terrace and beer garden. Weddings are celebrated here, and the beer garden lends itself to the reception. From earlier celebrations in Landsberg am Lech I know how the room fills up. Outside I keep the music quiet enough for conversation and let it move indoors as the evening goes on.

Gasthof zur Brücke

Brückenring 1, Kaufering

Gasthof zur Brücke is in Kaufering, one of the towns around Landsberg. The restaurant holds up to 50 guests, the hall upstairs up to 100, and there is also a beer garden. In the hall I distribute the sound so that even at the back nobody has to talk over the music.

Büffelhof Beuerbach

Benediktstraße 4, Beuerbach

Büffelhof in Beuerbach includes pastures, a farm shop and a restaurant with a terrace. The farm hosts small and large weddings alike, in winter too. I know how it sounds in Beuerbach from earlier evenings. Depending on the season, I decide whether the music gets more weight indoors or on the terrace.

Hofgut Algertshausen

Algertshausen 1, Eresing

Hofgut Algertshausen near Eresing hosts weddings in bright rooms for up to 110 people, with hotel rooms for the guests and a garden. Between garden and room I tune the music so that the transition is seamless and the dance floor fills early.

The details come from the venues' own websites (as of October 2026). Please have the venue confirm the room and date before you book.

Symbolic wedding ceremony in Landsberg am Lech

I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.

Who I am

Servus, that's me, Micha.

Landsberg am Lech, with its Bayertor gate and the banks of the Lech, is a beautiful place for a wedding, and my own path to this work wasn't planned: in 1998 I was playing in clubs, and as my guests from back then grew older, they suddenly started asking me for their celebrations. Since 2004 it has become my everyday life, with over 650 weddings and more than 1,450 events in total.

I see myself as someone who builds the framework in which your guests can dance freely. Music speaks for itself; I stay in the background. My own edits make sure the transition from the sparkling-wine reception to the dance floor is barely noticeable. When in the end everyone is exhausted and happy, it was right, and the evening becomes a memory you love to tell.

  1. Enquiry & first chat

It starts with your short message, and the next day you have my reply. After that, we get to know each other in a non-binding video call with no sales pressure, discuss the date, venue and first ideas, and you receive a concrete quote.

  2. Booking & portal access

Anyone who chooses me and books gets their own area in the portal for requested songs, special moments, the schedule and no-gos. Around a week in advance, we go over the details by phone.

  3. Set-up & sound check

Historic rooms have their own acoustics, so I arrive at least two hours earlier, set up and test the sound in the sound check. The celebrant or photographer then knows what is happening, and the guests notice nothing of the equipment.

  4. Ceremony & reception

After the ceremony, it is time to celebrate: at the drinks reception, subtle lounge music in the background encourages conversation, outdoors on battery if necessary. I underscore the exchange of rings, the entrance and the exit as a mood, not as an official act.

  5. Dinner & programme items

During the meal, atmospheric music creates the right ambience, and speeches go through a wireless microphone. Games, surprises and the bouquet toss each get their own musical setting.

  6. Opening dance & party

Already for the opening dance, an edit of your choice plays, and then I open the dance floor to everyone. I watch the mood, switch songs spontaneously and keep all generations in full swing together.

Everything behind
the mix

There's a reason Otis Redding and Dua Lipa share the same spot in my set: on your wedding day, several generations often sit at the same table. That's why your wedding music stays in my hands throughout, from the first contact to the last song.

Hands on the DJ controller in warm backlight

Mixed live, microphone only when needed

Calm at the booth, attentive to the guests: that's how I align the music live with the mood, and the microphone stays reserved for speeches and your programme items; I'm never the center of attention myself.

Uplights & Ambient Lighting

I program LED uplights to match your chosen colour, changing along with the music over the course of the evening.

Music genres

For your playlist I move between the 70s, the 90s and the current charts entirely to your taste, but there are no classic request slips during the celebration with me.

Set-up and tear-down without any effort from you

I arrive in good time, at least two hours before the start, set up calmly and check the sound, and in the end I take everything down again just as independently.

For the ring exchange, the exit and the entrance of your symbolic wedding ceremony I handle the technology entirely without cables; my system runs purely on battery for this.

Frequently asked questions

What couples in Landsberg am Lech want to know.

These are the questions couples ask me most often, and if yours is missing, just give me a call. All questions and answers →

+49 176 700 580 27
Is your equipment enough for a hall with 65 guests if we celebrate intimately at the inn?

My standard package is enough for celebrations of up to about 100 people, so a hall with 65 guests is well covered. I adapt the equipment to the room and guest count, so a small hall gets less setup than a large hall. A normal power outlet near the booth is enough for me; I don't ask the inn for more.

What do you need if we celebrate in the cellar of a bar in Landsberg am Lech?

A normal power outlet is enough for my equipment, and without one I'm independent with the battery setup. In some rooms there are fixed limits for the sound system; tell me about them early and I'll adjust everything accordingly. Whether the existing system is sufficient, we decide together with you and the venue before the date gets closer.

How does schlager work next to the charts when aunts, uncles and friends celebrate together?

The range goes from the seventies to current charts, and in advance we agree with you on what matters to you. In the evening I watch who is dancing and who prefers to sit, and I order the next songs accordingly, so that aunts and friends alike come along. At a wedding, guests of different generations should be entertained, so no genre is taboo for me as long as it gets your guests moving.

Can a female singer accompany the first dance if we celebrate in the castle without a band?

Vocals can be laid live over my mix, and I bring the singer in for you from my network, as well as a saxophonist, percussion or a violin. This works especially well for the first dance, the ceremony or the sparkling-wine reception, so you don't depend on a whole band. Who should perform and at which point, we decide together with you in the preliminary talk.

Is it too late if we marry in January and only ask after the castle has confirmed?

Outside the peak season or on weekdays I often manage with 3 to 6 months' notice, so for a winter celebration it's rarely too late. If you book a popular venue, you should still ask me earlier, ideally right after the venue confirms. Even if it gets tight, the call is worthwhile, because short-notice requests are possible with me, and I'll tell you honestly whether the day is still free.

Even more options

DJ+ – live musicians right inside my mix.

I bring saxophone, vocals, percussion or violin directly from my network onto the stage for you in Landsberg am Lech. Whether this performance suits the sparkling-wine reception or only the opening dance, you tell me in good time before your wedding.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Sparkling wine reception · First dance

DJ + saxophone

Soft saxophone sound in the castle courtyard turns the drinks reception into the start of a fairytale evening that your guests will not forget in a hurry.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

Congas and cajón give the party phase in the banqueting hall momentum, and your guests warm up on the dance floor much faster.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Entrance · special moments

DJ + vocals

A live voice carries your first dance through the vaulted hall, so that every note resonates and the guests watch in silence.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Ceremony · bride's entrance

DJ + violin

The violin traces your humanist ceremony on the banks of the Lech in music and gives the moment calm, warmth and a touch of celebration.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

Live music for the reception or dinner, and then a full DJ night anyway? Through my network I can arrange a well-rehearsed band, from a duo to a quartet, with vocals, guitar, piano, percussion or saxophone. Because everything is planned by one person, there is one point of contact, one sound concept and no gap between band and DJ.

Who i'm not the right DJ for

    Ballermann, après-ski, schlager hits?
A few songs here and there if it suits the mood – no problem.
But build a whole evening on them? That's not my thing.

There are DJs who can and want to do that.
    There are specialists for it.
    Nothing against them.
But it's not what I do.

I'm a specialist in live mixing at demanding events.
For people who understand that music is a craft.
    Precise transitions.
The right track at the right moment.
    Not just pressing play.

If that doesn't suit you – then I'm not the right person. And that's okay.
If it does – I'd love to.
