My name is Michael Zimmermann, and as a wedding DJ I mix the music for celebrations like yours; at Lake Constance I want to fill your big day with a mix that reaches guests of every age. Weddings have been a fixed part of my work since 2004, and of my more than 1,450 events, over 650 were weddings. Whether it's a castle terrace, a spa hall or a museum hall, I stay in the background and my mix speaks for you.

Wedding venues around Lake Constance
I read up beforehand on what the venues around the lake say about their rooms and occasions, and this information feeds into planning your wedding, from the castle hall to the museum hall. Here you'll find seven venues around the lake, from the Hall of Mirrors in Meersburg to the roof terrace in Lindau, and I adapt equipment and setup to how your room is built.
At Lake Constance you marry with the water in view, and I tune my mix to that backdrop. The old town of Lindau lies on an island in the eastern part of the lake, and your choices range from the Hall of Mirrors in the castle through the spa hall to the museum hall. For each of these rooms I rethink sound and setup.
In planning I take my cue from the room: a Hall of Mirrors demands different equipment from me than a tent in the garden or a hall among aeroplanes. If you've come up with a theme for the evening, we work out the track selection beforehand and weed out what doesn't fit. I start the sound check in good time before your celebration, so I have time for corrections.
The Neues Schloss Meersburg lists weddings in the Hall of Mirrors and in the castle chapel as an occasion; according to the operator the lake terrace serves for standing receptions, and the little tea house is a small wedding venue. If reception and celebration flow into one another, I set up my equipment so that the move between terrace and hall goes smoothly.
According to the operator, people celebrate weddings, birthdays, company parties and anniversaries at the Bad Hotel Überlingen. The Kursaal measures 745 m² and has room for up to 150 people for weddings; the garden in front of the Villa Seeburg is available for the symbolic wedding ceremony. With so much space, I clarify with you early where the dance floor and the booth should go.
The Dornier Museum Friedrichshafen lists weddings, company parties, Christmas parties and anniversaries as occasions, and according to the operator celebrations take place among historic aircraft. For a wedding among such large exhibits, I agree the setup and sound with you in advance.
According to the operator, the EIL.GUT.HALLE in Lindau hosts weddings, birthdays, company parties and anniversaries. The ground floor with the pavilion offers a banquet for 230 people, the pavilion alone for 90, and the roof terrace looks out over Lake Constance. How many guests you invite determines how much sound system I set up for the room.
Burg Meersburg lists weddings as an occasion. According to the operator, a symbolic wedding ceremony, a sparkling wine reception at the Marienbrunnen fountain and an aperitif in the castle garden are possible there, while the ceremony takes place in the Renaissance Hall. Because your celebration moves through several stages, I plan the music for each section individually with you.
The Pumpenhäusle in Konstanz lists weddings, birthdays and corporate events as occasions, and according to the operator it also offers symbolic wedding ceremonies. A table for up to 20 people is set in the little house, and a tent in the garden holds 23 to 70 people, with a view of the Seerhein. For such a manageable group, I deliberately keep my setup lean.
According to the operator, weddings, birthdays and anniversaries are on offer at the Auto und Traktor Museum with Jägerhof Restaurant in Uhldingen-Mühlhofen, plus a meadow for symbolic ceremonies. The Konstanz room holds up to 180 people, and a nostalgic shed serves for receptions. Depending on where you celebrate, I adjust my system for you indoors or outdoors.
The operators' websites provide me with rooms, capacities and occasions (as of October 2026); please confirm dates and capacities with the venue itself before booking.
I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.

You want to celebrate at Lake Constance, and I'm looking forward to it. I've been behind the decks since 1998, starting out in clubs. Since 2004 I've been playing private and corporate celebrations, including over 650 weddings, more than 1,450 events in total. If you marry in Lindau, you celebrate in an old town on an island that is connected to the mainland only by a road bridge and a railway causeway.
I stay in the background, the music speaks, and your evening should feel like your own. From edits I build myself come transitions in which family and friends celebrate together and the dance floor stays full.

Request a dateI reply to your enquiry within a day. In the relaxed video call with no sales pressure we get to know each other and talk about the date, location and first ideas, and in the end you have a concrete quote.
To keep everything in one place, after booking you get access to the wedding portal, a web app for music requests, no-gos, the schedule and special moments. Around a week before the date I pick up the phone and we go through every point.
I take my time around the set-up: I am ready at least two hours before the start, install the system and test the sound. The celebrant and photographer are brought in, and the guests notice none of it.
When you walk in for the ceremony, the music underlines the moment, and likewise at the ring exchange and exit as pure atmosphere. At the drinks reception the music stays quiet and lounge-like, and with a battery it also works without a power connection.
Whether it is the meal, a speech or the bouquet toss: every item on the programme gets the right musical setting. Speeches go through a wireless microphone, and I liven up games and surprises with the right sound.
Because the opening dance belongs to you, you choose the edit yourselves. After that I listen to the dance floor, change the set live and bring all generations together until the end of the evening.

+49 176 700 580 27Thanks to the battery I don't need a power socket; my booth even runs in the middle of a meadow. I obtain permission for an outdoor setup from the venue, so it's no work for you. Outdoors and indoors remain one continuous evening for me.
I play the entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit wirelessly, and we choose the tracks together beforehand. Whether a symbolic wedding ceremony can take place at your venue, the venue itself will tell you. You get any requirements on the schedule from them, and I follow those.
I keep my eyes on the dance floor all evening: whether it's filling up or emptying, I adjust my track order accordingly. My own edits merge decades and genres so that no break occurs. Beforehand you tell me your musts and bans, and I take care of the rest.
Saxophone, vocals, percussion or violin: I bring in such live musicians from my network and mix them into my set. Where in the schedule the musician comes in, we talk through beforehand; anything from the glass of sparkling wine to the first dance is conceivable, and I coordinate this with you.
My standard package handles celebrations of up to around 100 guests, so a small gathering is covered easily. My setup depends on the room and the guest count, so for you it turns out correspondingly lean. In this case a single power connection near the booth is enough for me.
Popular summer Saturdays are booked early with me, so write to me as soon as your date is set. If you celebrate on a weekday or in the winter half-year, three to six months' lead time is usually enough for me. And if your date is only fixed at short notice, write to me anyway, because I'll tell you honestly whether the day is still free.

Because everything is planned by one person, there is one point of contact, one sound concept and no gap between band and DJ.

Service area

First you write me a short note saying when you're celebrating, where and with how many guests. That leads to a video call in which I take down your music wishes, the schedule and your no-gos. A few days before the celebration we go through the schedule one last time, so you can enjoy the evening without open questions.
