Transparency is not a promise.
It's how I've worked for 25 years.
Not just the DJ
Two questions, one honest figure: set the number of guests and style and see right away where your budget lands – and how small the DJ's share of it really is.
Quick estimate based on real Bavarian market prices (±8 %). The full calculator breaks down all 35 items individually.
Included as standard
This comes with every booking. No quote without this standard, no extras you would actually have expected but have to pay for separately.
The extra - optional add-ons
Whatever else you need, you can add it. No package obligation, nothing pushed on you. Just tick what interests you in the form.
Price factors
No flat price, because no event is the same.
FACTOREFFECT ON THE PRICE
Wedding 8–10 hours incl. set-up/tear-down. Party 3–5 hours. More time = more effort = higher price.
Weddings need months of preparation: schedule, custom edits, final call. Corporate events work differently – both calculated fairly.
PA, lighting, mics always included – no equipment surcharge. Larger venues or add-ons are calculated individually.
Munich and surroundings: standard price. Travel further afield is added fairly. Wedding season: book early.
Frequently asked questions about price
No. A wedding with a symbolic ceremony, 8 hours and 120 guests is a different thing from a corporate event with 3 hours of after-work. Flat-rate packages don't fit there. I'll send you a quote that suits your event – within 24 hours.
I take a quick look at your event and send you a concrete figure – no off-the-peg form quote. How personal and specific the quote gets depends on how well I know your event. A short phone call or video call makes the difference here. It costs nothing and takes less than 24 hours.
Nothing extra. Set-up and tear-down are always included in the quote. I arrive at least 2 hours before the start, set up and do a sound check. After the event I tear down on my own – without you having to take care of it.
Yes, possibly. If the venue's system is up to it, I save myself the big set-up – and you get that back in the price. But: my fee is based on experience and time, not on the weight of the equipment. So don't expect a big reduction – more a fair adjustment for the reduced effort. Just mention it in your enquiry and I'll see what's possible.
Yes – and it's explicitly welcome. You send me your must-plays and no-plays, and I work with them. The final call a week before is there for exactly that.
I'm part of a DJ network. Should I be prevented in an absolute exceptional case, we'll provide an equivalent backup – your evening takes place. That's not just a promise: the backup arrangement is set down in writing in my terms and conditions.
No. There is no classic deposit that ties you in weeks ahead. For private events you choose yourselves: the full amount in advance, half upfront with the rest on the day of the event, or everything in one go only in the evening, just before the music starts. I can afford this flexibility because I know what I deliver. The prices quoted are final prices incl. statutory VAT – for private clients nothing is added on top. For corporate clients I state the prices net plus VAT; the invoice comes after the event, payment within 7 days. All details, accepted payment methods and default provisions are set down in the terms and conditions.
For weddings: as early as possible – popular Saturdays in the season are gone 12–18 months ahead. For birthdays and corporate events, 4–8 weeks is often enough.
