Company parties in Munich
From the gala in the grand banquet hall to the summer party on the Isar bank, the venues in Munich differ greatly, and which one suits your occasion, we clarify in conversation before I plan the speakers and positioning for your room.
The ground floor of the Doppelkegel measures 430 square metres and offers 450 standing places or 140 seats with banquet seating. The equipment includes lighting and sound systems, LED walls and a height-adjustable round stage seven metres in diameter. The venue names conference, get-together, gala, award and dinner as occasions for this space.
According to the operator, the festival hall holds 2,000 people and has a large stage and a newly installed lighting, sound and media system. The venue explicitly names gala dinners and corporate Christmas parties as occasions, and for smaller groups it points to the Restaurant Bräustüberl.
The barrel-vaulted festival hall has room for up to 600 guests and a stage of 30 square metres. The hall can be divided, for example into one area for the reception and one for the main part, or into a dining area and a dance floor. Among other things, the venue names the company party as an occasion.
The festival hall has 372 square metres of usable space and places for 80 to 400 people. The venue lists company party, conference, Christmas party and gala dinner as occasions. The Isar Saal, with a view of the beer garden, is intended for 50 to 110 people.
On the grounds of the former repair works, the event spaces range from the Zeppelin Lounge with 120 people, via the Kohlebunker with 440, to the Zenith-Halle with up to 5,880 people. The operator lists conferences, roadshows and gala evenings and points to 23 conference rooms.
The Praterinsel lies on the Isar and has vaulted halls and a courtyard with three chestnut trees. Füllhalle, foyer and Orangerie add up to 600 square metres on the ground floor under a vault seven metres high; in the courtyard the venue names an exclusive summer party, and at the Praterstrand barbecues and summer parties.
Historic steamer with a stern saloon for 50 seated or 70 standing guests, equipped with a screen, projector and Funktion-One sound system. The engine room holds up to 100 people, and for staff parties the venue names DJ, buffet and dance floor there.

Who I am
I have stood behind the decks as a DJ since 1998, and since 2004 I have been working at corporate events, galas and summer parties in Munich and all over Bavaria, at over 1450 events with 20 to 500 guests. My roots are in the club. There I learned to size up a room quickly, and I bring that experience to your event in Munich.
A corporate audience is not a wedding audience: different generations, different expectations, different dynamics. That is why, in the preliminary call, we clarify the schedule, speaking times and the transition from the programme to the party. I provide the technology, including a wireless microphone, myself and set it up in good time before the start. At every event it comes down to a DJ who knows what he is doing and guests who know how to celebrate. I stay in the background, only pick up the microphone for speeches and programme items, and otherwise let the music do the talking. My own edits keep the mix coherent throughout the whole evening, even with a widely mixed group of guests.

01At company parties, several generations often come together: first there is food, then speeches and programme items follow, and only after that does the party begin. I therefore plan the switch from background sound during the meal to a full dance floor in advance, because too early or too late hurts the evening. The biggest groups I look after have up to 500 guests, and with Amazon, Microsoft, BMW and Audi, well-known companies are among my clients. Your service package
For your corporate event in Munich I bring all my own technology, from the laptop via controller and lighting to the microphones, and set it up to suit the room and number of guests. How far the hosting should go, we discuss in the preliminary call.
I keep the music in the background and mix live to your guests rather than to a fixed programme. I use the wireless microphone for programme handovers, speeches and announcements, and anyone who would rather take the microphone themselves can have it at any time.

My equipment includes a laptop, a DJ controller from Denon or Pioneer, two wireless microphones and lighting; the sound comes from speakers by RCF and Electro-Voice, depending on the room also from dB Technologies, and a double backup always travels with me.

Your enquiry is followed by a no-obligation video call, and about seven days before the event we go through the schedule, music requests, no-gos and special moments by phone. I coordinate directly with your venue and other service providers.
Open Format
What gets played is what suits your audience: from the sound of the 70s to current charts, plus R&B and electro swing. We discuss music requests and no-gos in advance; your audience passes spontaneous requests to me directly on the evening, and there are no request cards.
My system is up at the latest two hours before the start and the sound check is done; I also take care of the tear-down after the event myself.
Galas
I play a gala or award ceremony with the same musical standard as the party afterwards, from the welcome through to the closing remarks. I run the schedule myself; you do not need to book a separate host for it.

Yes – and that is exactly one of the trickiest moments. Party too early, dinner music too long: both kill the evening. That's 25+ years of experience – and exactly why it feels effortless for your guests.
Yes. A wireless microphone is always with me. Programme handovers, announcing speakers, subtle guiding of guests – how much hosting you want, we clarify in the briefing. At galas and awards in Munich, I run the schedule myself – without a separate host.
Saxophone, percussion, vocals or violin live over my mix – bookable through my network. Especially effective at the peak of a summer party or the after-show set of a gala. Prices on request.
In 25 years it has happened exactly once. Through my network I arrange an equivalent replacement on identical terms. In the absolute exceptional case, payments made are refunded in full.
No deposit needed months in advance – you decide: transfer the full sum beforehand, half with the rest on the day of the event, or everything at once on the evening itself, just before the set begins. I leave you this freedom because I know what my performance delivers. Corporate clients always receive an invoice with 7 days to pay.
No, I don't end the set in the middle of the best moment. Within the booked time window there is no rigid closing minute – I read the mood in the room, not the clock. If you'd like to extend spontaneously, we'll sort that out directly on site.
A normal power socket near the DJ area is enough for the equipment. Often the volume is more important: many hotels and event venues have fixed decibel limits or limiters that automatically turn the system down. It's best to clarify this early directly with your location – otherwise there will be a nasty surprise on the evening itself.

Service area
On my map, Munich is the centre, and all the other places group around it. You will get a reply to your enquiry within 24 hours, whether your event is in the city or in the surrounding area.
For the technology, an ordinary power socket at the DJ spot is usually enough in hotels and event venues; if there is none, a battery setup for up to five hours takes over, and please mention the missing socket when booking. If your venue has a good sound system, I play on it; otherwise I am immediately independent with my own equipment. My setup is enough for up to 150 people; for larger groups, an event technology company from my network comes in as well. If your event takes place outside the city, the groups below lead to the pages for the places in the surrounding area.
Transparency
An evening that consists only of Ballermann and Schlager hits is not in good hands with me. A few sing-along classics are welcome at every company party, but building a whole programme on them is not my style.
Equally, I am not the right person for techno sets without contact with your guests, for rigid request lists that run through from top to bottom, or for festivals with several stages. There are colleagues for that who love exactly that.
