Wedding venues around Chiemsee
Whether it's a lakeside terrace, a gala tent or an inn: which room suits you determines how I set up the equipment and schedule for you. Eight venues at Chiemsee between Gstadt, Übersee, Bernau, Prien, Chieming, Rimsting and Seeon are ready for your wedding, from a tent on the beach to a monastery.
Anyone marrying at Chiemsee often has the Chiemgau mountains in view, and I choose the music to match that picture. Your options range from the Event-Strand in Gstadt through Sallers Badehaus in Bernau to the festival hall at Gut Ising in Chieming, and I plan my equipment to suit each of these possibilities.
For a gala tent on the beach I set up differently than for a hall, and room size and guest count give me the direction. If there's a theme, you tell me beforehand which music belongs and which tracks are taboo. I allow at least two hours of lead time so that everything is in place when your guests arrive and the sound already fits.
At Chiemsee in Gstadt, the Event-Strand has a private jetty, a beach and a terrace with a large white gala tent for 80 people. Symbolic wedding ceremonies are possible by arrangement, which you clarify early with the venue. For the reception and ceremony by the water I bring a battery-powered system that needs no power socket.
The Hotel Das Exter in Übersee is within walking distance of the lake. The wedding programme ranges from the symbolic ceremony to the big celebration; how many guests fit in, you ask the venue directly. In Übersee I've already experienced the atmosphere in the room myself. Because ceremony and celebration belong together, I plan music and equipment as one continuous evening.
Sallers Badehaus in Bernau sits right on the Chiemsee shore. The generous lakeside terrace is suitable for the symbolic wedding ceremony, welcome drinks and cutting the wedding cake. For the outdoor reception and ceremony the system runs on battery, so no power socket is needed on the terrace.
The Hotel Schlossblick in Prien has an unobstructed view across Chiemsee, with its own lakeside terrace. It's best to discuss the exact guest number briefly with the venue. I know the room in Prien am Chiemsee myself from earlier celebrations. I coordinate the terrace and the interior so that the music fits the place from the reception through to the dancing.
At Gut Ising in Chieming you celebrate weddings in rooms for 20 to 180 guests: the festival hall holds up to 180 people, the Isinger Saal up to 90, the Reiterstube up to 64 and the Derby bar with grill up to 100. With rooms this different, we agree early on which one suits your guests.
Kloster Seeon is a former Benedictine monastery set in parkland and has a baroque banquet hall. It's best to discuss the possible guest number briefly with the venue. I've worked in Seeon quite a few times. I distribute the sound in the banquet hall so that speeches remain intelligible and the dance floor still carries.
At the Hotel Aiterbach in Rimsting, the light-flooded hall is suitable for celebrations of up to 90 people, including weddings and christenings. In a bright hall I keep the sound and lighting subtle, so they don't overwhelm the room for you.
The Gasthof Hinterwirt in Übersee hosts weddings, christenings and private parties. You find out the room size directly from the venue. Beforehand I ask about the room and guest count, so the setup fits the parlour and the dance floor has space.

Who I am
Chiemsee is the largest lake in Bavaria, is called the Bavarian Sea and, with Herreninsel and Fraueninsel, has a backdrop that speaks for itself. I don't want to play against it, but along with it. My path began in clubs in 1998, where I learned to read the room and catch the moment. Since 2004 I've played almost exclusively private and corporate celebrations, over 650 weddings so far, more than 1,450 events in total.
I stay in the background and give the music the leading role. My own edits give the transitions something that isn't on any record. In the end, what counts is that you celebrated together with your guests and your heart was in it.

Request a dateYou make first contact with an enquiry, and my call back comes within 24 hours at the latest. In the non-binding video call we discuss the date, venue and ideas, entirely without sales pressure, and afterwards you receive a concrete quote.
You record everything in a web app: you get your personal wedding portal after booking, with room for song requests, no-gos, special moments and the schedule. Around a week before the celebration comes our phone call to check all the details.
A soundcheck is always part of my work, and it takes time: I arrive at least two hours earlier, set up the equipment and talk to the celebrant and photographer. For the guests, everything happens out of sight.
I give the entrance, ring exchange and exit a fitting atmosphere, then the lounge music at the drinks reception: subtle, so that you can chat. Thanks to battery operation I am ready to go even on the terrace without power.
Quiet music plays during the meal so people can talk easily at the table, and whoever gives a speech uses the wireless microphone. I frame games, surprises and the bouquet toss with fitting music each time.
An edit that you choose yourselves makes the opening dance your moment. Afterwards I listen to the guests, steer the set in real time and keep young and old moving until the final chord.

Whether I'm allowed to set up right by the water, I clarify early with the venue, so you needn't worry about it. Outdoors and indoors I plan for you as one connected evening with no break in between.
I accompany the entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit without cables, because my system runs entirely on battery. We choose the music for the ceremony and entrance together beforehand so that it fits your schedule. Whether your ceremony may take place at the desired location, you find out directly from the respective operator.
All evening I watch the dance floor, notice who joins in and who stays at the table, and choose the following tracks accordingly. My own edits connect decades and genres so that the transition from Schlager to the charts doesn't register as a break. I collect your must-plays and no-gos from you beforehand.
I arrange saxophone, vocals, percussion or violin from my network and mix them live into my set. Such a performance is especially atmospheric at the reception, the ceremony or your first dance. Where in the schedule the performance should go, we discuss with you in the first conversation.
For small gatherings of thirty people my standard package is more than enough; it's designed for weddings of up to about 100 guests. The smaller the room, the more pared-down my setup, because floor space and guest count decide, not the occasion. At the booth I only need an ordinary power socket nearby; I ask nothing more of the venue.
Popular Saturdays from May to September are often booked with me one to one and a half years in advance, so get in touch as early as possible. If you celebrate on a weekday or in the quieter half of the year, three to six months' lead time is often enough. Even at short notice you're welcome to call, because I'll tell you honestly whether your date is still free.

It starts with a short message from you with the date, venue and guest count, and then we arrange a video call. In our conversation we go through the music, the schedule and your wishes, and shortly before the celebration we settle the last details with you.
