Wedding venues around Berchtesgaden
Every venue in the mountains has its own layout, and I draw on what I know about such spaces when planning your wedding. On this page you'll find seven venues, from the hotel with a roof terrace in the middle of town to the alpine hut on the slope; which equipment and setup your room needs, I clarify with you.
Anyone marrying here celebrates in an area that includes Germany's only Alpine national park, and I carry that setting into the music. You can choose from hotels with a roof terrace, alpine huts on the slope and a banquet hall with a view of the Watzmann.
Up on the roof it sounds different than in an alpine hut parlour, so I adapt my setup to the room and the guest count. If you have a theme, we work out together which music fits and what you don't want to hear at all. I'm there long before your guests to set up and check the sound.
The Hotel Edelweiss lists weddings, birthdays and anniversaries as occasions. According to the operator, the Rauchkuchl has room for up to 250 people and the PANO Rooftop for up to 100, and a symbolic wedding ceremony is possible on the roof terrace. With the ceremony upstairs and the celebration downstairs, I think with you about how my system moves between the levels.
The Salzbergalm on the Obersalzberg lists weddings, birthdays, company parties and Christmas parties as occasions and, by its own account, offers a symbolic wedding ceremony. The venue stands alone on the mountain with a view over the town. Because so much is far apart up there, I bring all my equipment and set it up without any help from the venue.
The Kulturhof Stanggass in Bischofswiesen lists weddings, birthdays, company anniversaries, Christmas parties and staff parties as occasions. According to the operator, the banquet hall holds up to around 160 people, and a symbolic wedding ceremony is also possible. Depending on how full your hall gets, I position the speakers and lighting so that I reach all guests evenly.
The Kempinski Hotel lists weddings, birthdays and anniversaries as occasions, and according to the operator a wedding arrangement for up to 30 guests is possible. In such a small group I deliberately keep my setup understated, so the music underscores conversation at the table instead of drowning it out.
The Alpenhotel Bergzauber in Oberau lists birthdays, weddings, symbolic wedding ceremonies and anniversaries in the Bergstadl as occasions. According to the operator, the Bergstadl holds up to 30 people and the sun terrace up to 50. For the Bergstadl a compact setup is enough, which I match to the wooden look and the manageable group.
The Scharitzkehlalm lists weddings with a symbolic ceremony on the meadow as well as company parties, team days and seminars as occasions. The alpine hut gives no figure for guest numbers, so you clarify the capacity directly with the venue beforehand. For a ceremony under the open sky I bring my battery-powered system, which needs no power cable.
The Alpen Hotel Seimler lists birthdays, weddings and anniversaries as occasions, and according to the operator, divisible rooms for up to 200 people are available. Since these rooms can be partitioned, I clarify with you in advance which part we use for music and dancing.
My information on occasions, halls and guest numbers is based on the operators' websites, as of October 2026; whether your preferred date is free, the venue itself will tell you.
I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.

Berchtesgaden is home to the collegiate church, whose first construction phase was consecrated in 1122, so you're celebrating in a place with a long history. My path behind the decks began in clubs in 1998, and since 2004 I've been playing private and corporate celebrations. I have over 1,450 events behind me, more than 650 of them weddings.
I stay in the background so that you, your family and your friends can celebrate together, and the music speaks. I make my edits myself, and they let tracks from different eras run into one another. What you wish for the evening goes into the wedding portal, a web app you use after booking: song requests, no-gos, special moments and the schedule. About a week beforehand we discuss every detail by phone.
Before the first guests arrive, I have already set up the equipment and done the soundcheck, because I am there at least two hours earlier. We clarify the running order with the celebrant and photographer, and during the event I stay invisible.
I bring the atmosphere for the entrance, ring exchange and exit, and at the drinks reception subtle lounge music leaves room for conversation. Even outdoors without power, the system runs thanks to the battery.
For the meal I provide gentle sounds that do not drown out conversation at the table. Games, surprises and the bouquet toss each get their musical setting, and speeches go through the wireless microphone.
An opening dance to an edit you choose: that is how the party begins. After that I read the dance floor, rework my set live and get young and old moving together until the last song.

+49 176 700 580 27Yes, I work with a system that draws its power from a battery, so you can toast far from any power socket. I clarify with the venue in advance exactly where I may set up outside, and I take that off your hands. Outdoors and indoors, I link into a single festive evening for you.
During the entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit, my system runs on battery alone, so there are no cables lying around. We choose the right pieces together with you in advance. Whether your venue offers a symbolic wedding ceremony at all, please ask there directly.
I keep an eye on the room and quickly see who's dancing and who's sitting comfortably at the table, and I base my track selection on that. Thanks to edits I build myself, Schlager, rock and chart hits run into one another so that your guests notice no break. You give me your must-play songs and taboo songs beforehand.
Yes, if you'd like additional live music, I bring in saxophone, vocals, percussion or violin through my network, playing live over my mix. It works especially well for you at the reception, the ceremony or the first dance. When the live set comes, we discuss right when we get to know each other, and you have a say.
My standard package covers up to about 100 guests, so with 40 people you have generous leeway. How much I set up is determined by room size and guest count; the type of celebration plays no role. An ordinary power socket is enough for my booth, and you don't need to worry about that.
In summer the sought-after Saturdays are often gone a year and a half ahead, so contact me early. For a weekday or outside the season, 3 to 6 months is usually enough. If you enquire at short notice, I'll tell you honestly whether the day is still open with me.

Planning starts with a short hello from you with the date, the venue and an impression of your guests. Then we arrange a video call in which we go through music, schedule and wishes with you. A final round shortly before the celebration makes sure nothing is left open for you.
