Wedding venues in and around Unterschleißheim

Weddings in Unterschleißheim.

Sometimes a hall with a stage, sometimes a pavilion, sometimes a parlour: because the rooms around Unterschleißheim are so different, I plan my equipment for each venue individually with you. I'll show you five venues, from the Maximilianssaal next to the palace to the ballroom with a stage in Garching, and for each one we work out how my equipment fits your room.

From country inn to hotel ballroom: Weddings in Unterschleißheim

If you get married in Unterschleißheim or the neighbouring towns, you can choose between a hall next to Schleißheim Palace, a hotel with a pavilion and a country inn with a stage. I set up my equipment differently for each of these venues, and we sort out the details together as soon as you've decided.

How much equipment I bring depends on the floor space and the number of your guests, the name of the venue makes no difference. If you want a theme running through the evening, I pick songs to match and leave out everything that doesn't fit. I arrive about two hours before the start, set up and listen to the room until every seat sounds good.

Victor’s Residenz-Hotel Munich

Keplerstraße 14, Unterschleißheim

The hotel on Keplerstraße lists weddings among its occasions, and it has six event rooms plus the event location The Club. The Eastside I to III rooms can be combined to 213 square metres, enough for a large party. Across this space I position the speakers so the dance floor is covered evenly and guests at the tables don't have to talk over the music.

Schlosswirtschaft Schleißheim

Maximilianshof 2, Oberschleißheim

The Schlosswirtschaft has stood next to Schleißheim Palace since 1901, its Maximilianssaal holds up to 120 guests, and weddings are expressly among its occasions. For smaller weddings there is the Salon Therese Kunigunde with up to 45 seats. Since the hall is also meant for events with music and a programme, I work out with you and the venue where the booth and dance floor are best placed.

Hotel am Schlosspark zum Kurfürst

Kapellenweg 5, Oberschleißheim

The hotel's renovated ballroom has modern lighting and air conditioning, and besides family celebrations and anniversaries, weddings are among the venue's occasions. There are also two parlours for smaller groups. How many guests fit in is something you quickly check with the venue, and then I match my lighting to what the hall already offers.

Gasthof Neuwirt Garching

Garching

The inn's ballroom in Garching has room for 30 to 300 people, and the hall can be divided into two rooms. The venue hosts weddings as well as anniversaries and company parties, and a stage is available for a band. With a divisible hall, I plan with you whether the dance floor sits in one half or fills the whole room.

Hotel am Schlosspark Ismaning

Schloßstr. 7, Ismaning

The Hotel am Schlosspark in Ismaning caters to weddings, family celebrations and anniversaries. The ballroom holds up to 160 people, the pavilion has 229 square metres for 80 to 130 guests, and the adjoining palace park provides a backdrop for photos. With two rooms of such different sizes, I only tailor my setup once I know your guest count.

I took the rooms, capacities and occasions from the operators' websites (as of October 2026), so please have the venue confirm the room and date before you book.

Who I am

Servus, that's me, Micha.

You're celebrating in Unterschleißheim, and I'm happy to accompany you. The Unterschleißheimer See came into being between 1979 and 1983 as a gravel pit lake during gravel extraction for motorway construction, gravel became shoreline, and your celebration becomes a memory. My journey began in 1998 in clubs, and since 2004 I've been playing private and corporate celebrations, over 650 weddings and more than 1,450 events in total.

I stay in the background, the music speaks, and your most beautiful day belongs to you. My own edits blend songs your guests know from back then and from today, so that everyone dances together.

How it works

From your request to the final hour of your wedding in Unterschleißheim.

You write me a few lines, I reply within 24 hours, and then we plan the evening up to your opening dance in a video call. Read the full process →

  1. Enquiry & first chat

You get a reply from me within a day. In the get-to-know-you video call everything stays non-binding: we sort out the date, banqueting hall or other place and first ideas, and then I work out a concrete quote for you.

  2. Booking & portal access

The booking opens the door to your personal wedding portal. You record requested tracks, no-gos, schedule and special moments in the web app, and a week before the celebration we talk everything through by phone.

  3. Set-up & sound check

My setup begins at least two hours before the celebration starts. I install the system, check every sound, let the photographer and celebrant know and make sure the technology stays invisible to all guests.

  4. Ceremony & reception

I frame the wedding ceremony musically, from the entrance through the exchange of rings to the exit, as atmosphere and not as an official act. Subtle lounge sounds play at the drinks reception that follows, outdoors on battery if need be.

  5. Dinner & programme items

For dinner there is atmospheric music, and for speeches a wireless microphone. Games, surprises and the bouquet toss are framed musically by me, so that every part of the programme gets exactly the opening it deserves.

  6. Opening dance & party

An edit to your taste opens the dancing, and then things really get going. I read the dance floor, adapt the set live and bring every generation onto the floor together until the last song plays.

What couples in Unterschleißheim want to know.

We want to toast outside after the ceremony, but there's no power socket there. Is that possible?

Yes, for outdoors I have a small system that works without mains power. I get the permission for the garden or terrace from the venue long before the date gets close, you don't need to worry about that. For you, the outdoor reception and the evening in the hall remain one continuous celebration.

Can we make our entrance with a favourite song of our own, and who announces the opening dance?

You tell me your favourite song for the entrance beforehand, and I build the start of the evening around it. If you like, I'll briefly announce the opening dance and then go back to the background. If you don't want an announcement, I simply start the song, and the dance floor fills up by itself.

Our guests range from eight to eighty, how do you get everyone onto the dance floor?

I watch all evening who is dancing and who stays at the table, and choose the next song accordingly. My own transitions blend schlager, disco and chart hits seamlessly, so the older guests feel included too. You give me beforehand the songs that have to be played and the ones that must never be played.

We'd like a violinist or a singer for the champagne reception, can that be combined with a DJ?

I bring live musicians with violin, vocals, saxophone or percussion from my network, and they play along to my beats. We decide together at which point in the day the musicians perform, for example at the reception or the first dance. Send me your schedule and I'll suggest the moment when live music has the most impact.

We're only celebrating with 40 guests, is that too small for you?

No, the size of your group only determines how much equipment I bring, and for 40 guests a slim setup is enough. Up to about 100 guests I manage with my basic equipment, so below that I have plenty of headroom. All I need from the venue is a normal power connection near the booth, everything else I bring myself.

How much lead time do you need for a summer wedding in Unterschleißheim so that we can still get a date?

Summer Saturdays are among the most sought-after dates and are often booked more than a year ahead, so it's better to write to me early. For weekdays and the winter months, three to six months' notice is usually enough. Your message is worth sending even at short notice, because I'll tell you honestly whether anything is still possible on your day.

Even more options

DJ+ – live musicians right inside my mix.

On request I bring in saxophone, vocals, percussion or violin from my network, and I handle the arrangements with the musicians for you. We decide on the performance together in advance, whether for the reception, the entrance or the opening dance.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Sparkling wine reception · First dance

DJ + saxophone

In the festive hall next to a castle, a saxophone gives the aperitif elegance and makes sure your guests feel welcome straight away.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

In the large banqueting hall, the party phase with percussion becomes a celebration of rhythms and gets even the dance-shy among your guests moving.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Entrance · special moments

DJ + vocals

On a real stage, a live voice can truly shine, putting the opening dance at the centre and getting the whole hall to sing along.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Ceremony · bride's entrance

DJ + violin

By the water of the lake or in the park, a violin at the couple shoot feels especially delicate and colours your pictures with a romantic melody.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

Live music for the reception or dinner, and then a full DJ night anyway? Through my network I can arrange a well-rehearsed band, from a duo to a quartet, with vocals, guitar, piano, percussion or saxophone. Because everything is planned by one person, there is one point of contact, one sound concept and no gap between band and DJ.

Who i'm not the right DJ for

    Ballermann, après-ski, schlager hits?
A few songs here and there if it suits the mood – no problem.
But build a whole evening on them? That's not my thing.

There are DJs who can and want to do that.
    There are specialists for it.
    Nothing against them.
But it's not what I do.

I'm a specialist in live mixing at demanding events.
For people who understand that music is a craft.
    Precise transitions.
The right track at the right moment.
    Not just pressing play.

If that doesn't suit you – then I'm not the right person. And that's okay.
If it does – I'd love to.
