Wedding venues in and around Starnberg
I've often played celebrations in vaulted halls, lakeside hotels and castles around the lake, and that helps you in your planning. For your wedding around Starnberg I introduce eight venues here, from the vaulted hall in Berg to the Marina Resort in Bernried, and each one calls for its own setup from me.
If you want your day to take place by the water, a hotel with lake access around Starnberg also hosts weddings. If you like it historic, stables built in 1866 offer around 340 square meters for 2 to 180 guests, a garden and apartments to stay overnight. If a lakeside property is part of your celebration, a castle in the region has one and room for a maximum of 200 guests.
For your champagne reception in the garden I use the battery setup; it doesn't need a line from the building, and your guests won't trip over any cable. If you exchange vows outdoors on the shore, my setup for the ceremony stays small enough not to disturb your picture.
In Berg you'll find the former royal stables from 1866, a vaulted hall of around 340 m². Between 2 and 180 guests celebrate here, and a garden, a suite and 4 apartments come with it. The house has no catering of its own; you work with external caterers. Under the vault I distribute the sound across several small speakers so nothing echoes.
At the golf course in the Percha/Rieden district there is a banquet hall of around 320 square meters for up to 200 people; smaller groups of up to 40 sit in the Stüberl. The terrace looks out over the lake and the Alps, and weddings are among the occasions the house hosts. From earlier celebrations in Starnberg I know how the room fills up. I'll coordinate the champagne reception on the terrace and the dancing in the hall with you in advance.
A 165-year-old villa with a park, its own lake access, terraces and a boathouse: that is LA VILLA in Niederpöcking on Lake Starnberg, and weddings are among the occasions the house hosts. For the reception on the shore I plan a battery-powered system with no power outlet, and inside the music then switches to dancing.
The Marina Resort sits at the Bernried yacht harbor, a four-star hotel with a lake hall, fireplace restaurant, Lake Lounge and panoramic lake terrace. For weddings the house offers space for 10 to 300 people, depending on the room. I know how Bernried sounds from earlier evenings. Whether it's the reception at the lounge or dancing in the lake hall, I shape the sound to the rooms you use.
The lakeside hotel in Berg has lake access, a conservatory and a terrace, and hosts weddings as well as birthdays, anniversaries and corporate events. How many guests can celebrate there, you'll need to ask the house directly. From the conservatory to the terrace, I plan the music so the transition outside doesn't break off.
The castle in Bernried has its own lakeside grounds and room for up to 200 guests. The house hosts weddings as well as company parties and birthdays. I know the conditions in Bernried from my own experience. For the reception on the lakeside grounds I bring a battery-powered system with no power outlet if needed; inside I shape the sound to the room.
The historic Schloss-Bräustüberl in Seefeld has several parlors and a beer garden. Up to 150 people fit in the Bräustüberl, 60 in the Toerring-Stüberl, 30 in the Minucci-Stüberl and 15 in the Canossa-Stüberl. Wedding celebrations are explicitly possible there. A slim setup is enough in the parlors: quiet background music for dinner first, more punch for dancing later.
The dining rooms of the country inn in Starnberg-Percha seat 120 guests, and the beer garden under chestnut trees another 120. Weddings, christenings and birthdays are celebrated there, with a suitable menu or buffet on request. For a party of this size I keep the setup slim so the dining rooms and the garden stay usable.

I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.
Who I am
Starnberg lies at the northern end of Lake Starnberg, with a lakeside promenade and mountain views, and anyone who marries here wants all their guests to feel welcome. My path there began in 1998 in clubs, where I learned to bring people together with music. Since 2004 I've been at home almost exclusively at private and corporate celebrations: over 650 weddings and more than 1,450 events in total.
I hold back and let the music carry the evening. My own edits give me the freedom to blend songs from different decades into each other. That way everyone celebrates together what is a special day for you, and in the end the family dances with the friends.

Request a dateI answer your message quickly, 24 hours later at the most. In the first video call we get to know each other in a relaxed way, without any sales pressure, and discuss the date, venue and first wishes; I send a suitable quote afterwards.
You book, I activate your access to your personal portal. In the web app you collect requested songs, no-gos and the schedule along with special moments; about a week before the date we agree everything by phone.
I allow at least two hours before the start for setting up, happily with a view of the lake. Equipment, soundcheck and arrangements with the photographer or celebrant are done before the guests arrive and everything runs unobtrusively.
I give the entrance, exchange of rings and exit music as atmosphere rather than as ceremony. Subtle lounge music plays at the drinks reception by the water, and the battery is enough if there is no socket nearby.
Whether speech, game, surprise or bouquet toss: every part of the programme is framed musically by me. Quiet music plays in between and during the meal, and anyone who wants to speak gets a wireless microphone.
Your first dance gets an edit that you choose. Afterwards I read the dance floor, adjust the set in real time and keep all generations moving until the very last song.

For your wedding I travel wherever people are celebrating in Bavaria, to an estate on the edge of town just as much as to a hall right in the center.

I rotate through R&B, electro swing, schlager, house and pop, mixing in classics from the 70s to the 90s in between; I collect your wish list beforehand, and there are no song request cards on the table with me.
Well before your first guest arrives, I'm fully set up and have already checked the sound; at the end I do the teardown entirely myself, without outside help.
Outdoor
For the exchange of rings, processional and recessional of your symbolic wedding ceremony, my equipment works independently of any power outlet, whether outside in the garden or inside in the hall.
Live instruments, photo station, audio guest book or uplights can be added to your wedding in any combination, and I coordinate all your wishes with each other personally.

+49 176 700 580 27My battery setup runs for up to five hours without a power connection, so you don't need an outlet for the ceremony on the shore. So that even the back rows catch every word, I hand your speaker a wireless microphone for the ceremony on the shore. If there is no connection at the shore, tell me in your booking so I can plan with the battery setup.
For your grandma I play schlager, for the cousins house, and in between I move smoothly across pop, R&B and the 80s up to whatever is in the charts right now. What share the decades from the 70s onward get in your evening, you decide with me beforehand, entirely according to your family's taste. In our initial conversation you tell me your must-plays, like your grandma's favorite songs, and every track that is off-limits for you.
You don't need slips of paper or request cards with me; I'd rather collect your guests' requests through our initial conversation before the evening begins. Whatever your guests send you in advance, you enter into your wedding portal, where there is a wish list, a no-go list and room for must-plays for special moments. Count on a maximum of 60 tracks per wedding, even if your list ends up with 200 requests.
For that I offer my audio box on request, which collects your guests' spoken congratulations, and you get the file after the celebration to listen to again. Anyone who would rather say something themselves gets the microphone from me at any time. I have a wireless microphone for a speech within reach at every wedding anyway, in case someone spontaneously decides to take the plunge after all.
A Saturday in June falls in peak season, for which I expect a lead time of one to one and a half years. If your venue is in demand and already booked, it pays to contact me earlier accordingly. If you have only little time left, call me rather than writing, because an inquiry is possible even at the last minute.

This is how I approach weddings in Starnberg: you give me the date, the place of the celebration and the venue, we go through your wishes in a video call, and shortly before the event we coordinate the schedule and music once more. On the day itself I set up early enough to adjust the sound in peace.
