Since 2004 weddings have been a fixed part of my work: I have handled more than 1,450 events in over 25 years, more than 650 of them weddings. Wedding venues around Lake Schliersee
The venues around the lake differ greatly, and what I know about the rooms and flow of such celebrations goes into planning your wedding, from the lakeside terrace to the mountain hut. Eight venues are available for your wedding at Schliersee, from the lakeside terrace via the island of Wörth to the mountain hut high above the valley.
Anyone marrying here celebrates between water and mountains, and I align the music with this setting. Your choice ranges from the lake hotel with a lakeside terrace via the event venue on the island of Wörth to the mountain hut that can only be reached on foot.
A hut on the mountain needs a different setup from me than a terrace by the water, and I base it on room and guest count. If you have a theme, we talk beforehand about fitting music and about songs that must never be played. Before your first guests arrive, everything is in place and the sound is checked, for which I allow at least two hours.
Right on the shore of Lake Schliersee stands the Seehotel Schlierseer Hof with the restaurant Walter's Cove and a beer garden. For weddings the venue holds up to 150 guests, the symbolic wedding ceremony takes place on the lakeside terrace, followed by the sparkling wine reception by the water. For the ceremony and reception outdoors I bring a battery-powered system that needs no socket.
The Schliersbergalm lies above Lake Schliersee, and for small ceremonies there is a chapel with room for 15 people. Celebrations take place in the party tent from May to September with up to 150 guests, in the Almstadl with up to 60 or in the Almstüberl with up to 32. I know how it sounds in Schliersee from earlier evenings. Which room suits your group also decides the size of the system I bring up.
The event venue on the island of Wörth lies in the middle of the lake. For weddings, 60 to 150 guests are planned, the main building has 235 square metres on two floors, and the terrace 250. Whether the music plays inside, on the terrace or in both places, we agree beforehand.
The mountain hut lies at about 1,100 metres above Lake Schliersee, with up to 84 seats and 30 beds. It is booked only for closed groups, and a symbolic wedding ceremony is possible there too. I know the conditions in Hausham from my own experience. From the car park it is a 35 to 40 minute walk, so I work with wireless equipment that is easy to carry up.
The Stögeralm is an alpine inn high above Lake Schliersee and opens for weddings and celebrations. Celebrations take place in the inn with up to 70 guests, in the Salettl with up to 30 or in the tent with up to 120. Between the inn parlour and the tent I distribute the sound so that nobody at the back has to shout.
The four-star hotel Karma Bavaria is in the centre of Schliersee, and you stay overnight in the house. The Wendelstein Hall has 115 square metres and takes up to 100 guests at a standing reception, and the Stüberl Leonhardi offers 50 square metres for up to 30. Schliersee is already familiar to me as a place to celebrate. In the hall I plan the dance floor and tables so that both have room.
The Markus Wasmeier Open-Air Museum lies on the south shore of the lake in Neuhaus and hosts weddings. For the question of space for your guests, ask the venue directly. I plan my equipment so that it suits the historic setting and your schedule.
The SLYRS Distillery in Neuhaus hosts weddings indoors with around 70 guests or on the sun terrace with a view of the Wendelstein, where 120 to 150 guests are possible. Outdoors the battery system is enough for me, and if the weather turns we move indoors together.

I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.
If you would like a symbolic wedding ceremony, two venues around Lake Schliersee list this option: the Seehotel Schlierseer Hof offers the symbolic ceremony on the lakeside terrace, and the Almbad Huberspitz lists symbolic ceremonies according to the operator, although the walk from the car park takes 35 to 40 minutes and the hut is only booked exclusively. My wireless equipment makes the music for your ceremony possible in both cases, and we choose the songs together beforehand.
Who I am
At Schliersee the island of Wörth and the alpine pastures above the lake are part of the picture, and anyone celebrating here has left everyday life far behind. I started in clubs in 1998 and in doing so understood how a dance floor works. Over the years the guests of back then became couples, and my club nights turned into weddings.
Since 2004 I have been heard almost exclusively at private and corporate celebrations, over 650 weddings so far, more than 1,450 events in total. I stay in the background and let the music speak. Edits that I build myself keep your evening flowing until the family is still dancing at the end.

Request a dateAfter your enquiry, my reply comes the next day. In the get-to-know-you video call, relaxed and without sales pressure, we sort out the date, place and your ideas for the day by the water, and then there is a concrete quote.
Access to your own wedding portal is available from the booking, with room for requested songs, no-gos, schedule and special moments. About a week before the celebration we speak by phone so that every detail is right.
By the water as in the mountains, I arrive at least two hours early, set up the system and check the sound. I clarify everything in advance with the celebrant or photographer, and the guests notice nothing of the technology.
Whether on the shore or in the hall: I give the entrance, exchange of rings and exit music that carries atmosphere instead of being an official act. Lounge music for chatting plays at the drinks reception, and battery operation works far from any socket too.
While you eat, a pleasant soundscape keeps conversation possible. Speeches go through the wireless microphone, and games, surprises and the bouquet toss each get their own musical setting.
Your chosen edit plays for the first dance, then I take over. I sense the mood in the room, adjust the set on the spot and let all generations dance together, right up to the final track.

+49 176 700 580 27My system runs on battery, so a reception outdoors is possible even when there is no power socket nearby. Whether I may set up outside, we clarify with the venue in good time, so you do not have to take care of that. I treat terrace and hall as one continuous evening.
I play the entrance, ring exchange and exit entirely without cables, because my system runs on battery. Especially for a mountain hut that your guests reach on foot, this helps me a great deal. We choose the songs together in advance, and whether a symbolic wedding ceremony is possible at your chosen venue, you can find out from the operator.
Over the course of the evening I see who is moving and who prefers to sit, and I choose the following tracks accordingly. My own edits connect decades and genres, so your guests do not notice the jump from German schlager to chart hits. What absolutely has to be played and what not at all, you tell me beforehand.
I bring in saxophone, vocals, percussion or violin through musicians from my network who play live along with my mix. This is especially fitting at your sparkling wine reception, your ceremony or your opening dance. We set the timing of the performance in the preliminary conversation.
My standard package is enough for weddings of up to about 100 guests, so 40 people are no problem. The tighter the room, the leaner I set up; what matters is floor space and guest count, not the occasion. For the booth I only need a normal power socket.
Sought-after Saturdays from May to September are often booked one to one and a half years in advance, so it is better to write to me early. For a weekday or the off-season, three to six months are often enough. Even at short notice a message is worthwhile, and I will tell you honestly whether your date is still free.
