I am Michael Zimmermann, event DJ, and my goal is a corporate event at Lake Schliersee that stays coherent from the first guest to the last track. I have been mixing live for more than 25 years, handling company parties since 2004, and in over 1,450 events I have learned what moves colleagues of every age. Company parties at Lake Schliersee
Alpine hut, terrace or hall: in such spaces I tune sound and routes to your schedule, which makes coordination with your team more relaxed. Seven addresses between the lakeshore, the island and Lake Spitzingsee show you how different a company evening at Lake Schliersee can be.
A company party by the lake can look very different, from an evening at an alpine hut to a big celebration on Wörth Island, where according to the organiser up to 300 people fit, and my setup depends on that. With the venue, the setup and arrangements change too, so the first thing I ask about is format, number of guests and room.
If an outdoor reception is followed by the programme and party indoors, I go through both parts with you in advance. When dinner is served, who gets to speak and from when dancing is allowed, we clarify with you in the briefing so that my music never gets in the way. I handle setup and teardown entirely myself; that is a fixed part of my offer.
The Schliersbergalm above Lake Schliersee hosts company parties and anniversaries. From May to September the party tent holds up to 150 guests, the alpine barn up to 60 and the alpine parlour up to 32. For speeches and dancing I choose the sound system according to the room you book.
On Wörth Island the event venue holds up to 300 people and is intended for Christmas parties, summer parties and company anniversaries. I coordinate speeches indoors and music on the terrace with you beforehand.
Incentive, kick-off and client events as well as Christmas parties take place in Markus Wasmeier's open-air museum in Neuhaus. How many guests fit is best discussed briefly with the venue. Between the historic buildings I keep the volume at a level where speeches remain intelligible.
Company parties can be held at Hotel Gundl Alm in its own dance bar, at Lake Spitzingsee and just for your group. It is best to ask directly about the possible number of participants. Whether the existing dance bar equipment is enough or my system is added, we discuss beforehand.
The Karma Bavaria in Schliersee has three event rooms totalling 186 square metres. For a daytime programme and an evening party, I re-tune the hall acoustically.
For corporate incentives, Christmas parties and seminars, the SLYRS distillery in Neuhaus offers space for around 70 people indoors and 120 to 150 on the sun terrace. At the outdoor reception I keep the music subtle, and later in the evening it can get livelier.
The Arabella Alpenhotel is located at Lake Spitzingsee at almost 1,100 metres and has ten conference rooms for up to 160 people. For the evening, the Spitzing Alm with space for up to 100 guests is available, a two-minute walk away. Between the conference and the evening at the alpine hut, my equipment simply moves along.

Who I am
The schedule has to be right, also at Lake Schliersee with its Wörth Island and the alpine huts above the lake. That is the experience I bring from many company evenings. In 1998 I stood at the decks in clubs for the first time, and since 2004 I have worked for companies and private clients, over 1,450 events in total.
We clarify agenda items, speeches and timetable in the preliminary call. I bring my system and the microphones with me in full, and I do the soundcheck before the guests arrive. I mix the music live, with edits that I build myself. For an emergency, a network of equivalent colleagues stands ready.

For up to 150 guests I provide the complete equipment myself, and for larger parties I bring in proven technical partners.

+49 176 700 580 27I can use a good house system; I bring my controller and laptop either way. If it is too weak or outdated for your room, I set up my own PA. We discuss what makes sense for you in the preliminary call, before you settle further details.
We clarify access, routes and time slots for my setup in advance together with the venue. I plan plenty of buffer so that the soundcheck is done before the first guest arrives. Especially with unusual access routes, it is best to talk about it early, and I will get in touch with you about it.
I define these transitions with you in the briefing so that the music starts after dinner, speech and award exactly when your guests are ready for it. I only go to the microphone for speeches and agenda items, and for the rest of the evening I stay in the background. That way your guests experience no break between programme and party.
Outside I play quiet music for the reception, and inside the mix for the dance floor follows. I also think through plan B for rain from the start, and we clarify rooms and times with the venue in good time. That way your evening stays flexible without the mood suffering.
Right after the event I send you the invoice, payable within 7 days. As soon as you get in touch, you will have my reply by the next day at the latest. For Christmas parties and summer parties, early enquiries make sense, and for corporate events you should allow three to six months.
A saxophonist from my network joins my mix seamlessly if needed, and I am just as happy to arrange violin, percussion or vocals. It works best for you as the opening of the party or as an agenda item after dinner. We determine the right moment together with you in advance.

This is how working with companies at Lake Schliersee goes: you tell me the occasion, date and number of guests, we discuss your ideas in a video call, and the schedule is set in the briefing shortly before the date. On the day itself I prepare everything before the guests arrive and check the sound. My own system covers small and medium-sized groups, and for a big party I work together with an event technology partner.

Transparency
A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.
My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
