When your team celebrates in Salzburg, the evening should flow smoothly from the reception to the final track, which is why I, Michael Zimmermann, stand at the decks myself. Over 25 years of experience and more than 1,450 events have shown me which tracks bring a mixed group of colleagues onto the dance floor together. I have been handling company parties since 2004, my clients include Audi, BMW, Microsoft and Amazon, and we talk about your music requests well in advance.

Company parties in Salzburg
Whether castle hall, inn parlour or brewery vault: I set up my system to suit the room, which saves you a lot of time when we coordinate. Seven venues between Mönchsberg, Hellbrunn and Wals show you how different a company evening can be here: in a castle hall, in a brewery vault or on a mountain pasture.
Between Mönchsberg and Gaisberg, any size is possible for your party, from a small gathering to a large hall. According to the operator, the brewery vault of the Stiegl-Brauwelt holds 500 people and the Bräustüberl a maximum of 200, and I adapt my equipment to the room you choose. That is why I first want to know the format and the number of guests before I plan the setup.
If your evening starts outdoors and moves inside later, I will agree with you how my music follows the move indoors. In the briefing I note how the evening moves from dinner and speeches into the party, so that my music never drowns out an agenda item. Setup and teardown are on me, so your staff do not need to lift a finger.
The Kavalierhaus is in Wals-Siezenheim, in the area around the city, and lists company parties as an occasion. According to the operator, five rooms covering 540 square metres have space for up to 300 people. With so many rooms, I clarify with you in advance where the reception, programme and dance floor will be, and set up my equipment accordingly.
Hotel Schloss Mönchstein is located on the Mönchsberg and lists corporate events as an occasion. According to the operator, the Mönchstein Hall holds up to 100 people. For a hall of this size my standard setup is enough, which I agree with you beforehand.
The Stiegl-Brauwelt lists company parties and gala dinners as occasions. According to the operator, the Bräustüberl has space for a maximum of 200 people, the brewery vault for 500. How speeches and music work together in a vaulted space is something I check with you before the date, so that both stay clearly intelligible.
Schloss Hellbrunn lists the company party among its occasions, and according to the operator, parlours and festive halls have space for up to 250 people. I plan my setup depending on whether you celebrate in a parlour or in the large hall.
The Müllner Bräu in the Augustinerbräu Kloster Mülln lists company parties, Christmas parties and anniversaries as occasions. According to the operator, reservations are possible from 8 people. For a manageable group I set up lean and clarify with you where my DJ booth can go.
The country inn in Hallwang, in the area around the city, lists company and club parties as well as Christmas parties as occasions. According to the operator, the conservatory offers up to 140 seats, and the Salettl serves as a separate party room. I will ask you beforehand in which of the two rooms your team will gather, and plan the setup accordingly.
The Zistelalm is on the Gaisberg and lists corporate events and the Christmas party as occasions. The venue's page says nothing about guest numbers, so please enquire yourself about space and facilities. I adapt my equipment to the rooms the venue assigns to you.

Who I am
I have known corporate audiences since 2004, and I bring that experience to your event in Salzburg too. Alongside private celebrations, more than 1,450 events are part of it, and I started in 1998 in clubs. That taught me that for you, the schedule comes first and only then my music. In a preliminary call by phone or video, we clarify with you when speeches will be held.
I stay in the background, the music speaks, and my own edits link the phases of the evening. The Salzburg Festival has run every summer in July and August since 1920, and for your party we agree on the date and schedule in advance.

01At company parties of up to 500 guests, I align the mix with your company, and yet your workforce should dance. I sense which tracks work for which age group during the party, not only afterwards. Clients like Audi, BMW, Microsoft and Amazon confirm this balancing act for me; I have been handling company parties since 2004. Between dinner and party I build in time buffers so that even a long speech does not dampen the mood. For up to 150 guests I arrive with my own complete equipment, and larger events I handle with reliable partners.

Your wish list comes first, after which I coordinate on my own with the venue, technical staff and other service providers on site. After your enquiry, we first meet in a video call, entirely without obligation, and you find out how I would approach your evening.

We define your music programme together in advance, across the seventies, nineties and the present day, and I let all genres flow into each other without a break.
A good two hours before doors open I am on site, install the equipment in peace, and clear up again after the last track.

For a gala or anniversary, your evening gets the same care as any company party, from the first glass of sparkling wine to the wind-down.
If you would like live music, a photo station or uplights as well, I will include them in your party and coordinate it with you personally.

+49 176 700 580 27If the house system is good enough for your guest count, I connect my controller to it and have the laptop with me anyway. If it sounds flat or doesn't reach the last rows of tables, I set up my own speakers. Whether you need my system, we will see together from your room data in the first phone call.
Give me the new attendee number, and I will reconfigure the sound reinforcement accordingly. My basic setup carries up to about 100 people, and with the larger system I cover up to 150 guests. Beyond that I bring in equipment partners I rely on.
Before the evening we decide when there will be dinner, speeches and tributes, and I align my music plan with that order. I pick up the microphone for speeches and agenda items, otherwise I leave the field to the music. That way your guests feel no edge between the official part and the dance floor.
For the outdoor reception I play quiet music, and once your guests are inside, I switch to the dance mix. I build a rain plan into my preparation from the start, so that your schedule doesn't tip over. Whether the venue permits an outdoor setup, I clarify in advance for you.
After the evening you receive an invoice from me, payable within seven days. I answer an email from you on the day it arrives or the following day. For corporate events I advise three to six months of lead time, so that date, equipment and schedule come together calmly.
For this case I draw on musicians from my network, and a saxophonist then joins my mix seamlessly. Whether violinist, percussion or singer: I can arrange that for you as well. When the live act works best in the program, for example after the main course, we discuss with you beforehand.

An evening without a break.
If you want live music already at the reception or dinner, I'll arrange a well-rehearsed band of two to four musicians for you. After that I keep playing without a break, and because the planning is in my hands, I remain your single point of contact.

Service area
I am also available as an event DJ for corporate events in Rosenheim, Passau and Landshut. Where else I travel to, you can see in my list of locations further down.
My work with companies in Salzburg starts with your email about the occasion, date and number of participants. We clarify your wishes in a video call, and we put the schedule in writing in the briefing shortly before the date. On the evening itself I am ready at the decks before your first guest enters the hall. I cover up to 150 guests with my own system, and for even larger groups I bring in technical partners.

Transparency
A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.
My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
