Company parties in inns and halls of the Alpine foothills have shown me which flows work well, and that saves you time in planning with me. Six venues between Kurpark, Isarwinkel and Oberland show how different a company evening around the Isar town can turn out: sometimes in a vault, sometimes in a large hall, sometimes in a small group, as you wish.
Anyone celebrating in Bad Tölz picks the right venue for your team somewhere between vaulted cellar and large hall, and I adapt accordingly. The Marktstraße is regarded as the festival hall of the Oberland, but whether your party takes place in the Kurhaus, in the vaulted cellar of the inn or in the Ludwig-Ganghofer-Saal determines setup and arrangements. First of all I want to know from you which format you are planning and how many guests are coming.
If your event starts with a reception and later moves to the hall with a programme, I coordinate both sections with you in advance. In the briefing we fix how meal, addresses and party interlock, so that my music never disturbs an important moment. I handle setup and teardown myself; that is part of the job for me.
The Kurhaus lists corporate event as an occasion, alongside wedding, birthday and Christmas party. According to the operator, the Kurhaus offers rooms from the festival hall to the Salettl with space for up to 80 people. With such varied sizes, I only size my system once you tell me your room and guest count.
The inn lists company party as an occasion and offers a vaulted cellar with bar and event stage, with an in-house brewery next door. I include the stage in my setup so that speeches and mix remain equally clearly audible at your event.
The Klosterschänke is located in Dietramszell, a neighbouring municipality of Bad Tölz, and lists company party as an occasion, alongside the Christmas party. According to the operator, the hall with baroque vault has space for up to 84 people, the Stüberl for 45 and the beer garden for 150. For the vaulted hall I set up the equipment so that your team understands speakers and music well.
The hotel is located in Lenggries in the Isarwinkel, in other words in the surroundings of Bad Tölz, and lists company party and Christmas party as occasions. Who I am
Setup begins at least two hours before the start of your event: I bring loudspeakers, wireless microphones and lighting myself, followed by the sound check. As a safeguard I run controller and laptop in duplicate. Bad Tölz has held the title of moor spa since 2005, and I want your evening to run just as relaxed.
I've been a DJ since 1998, first in clubs, from 2004 at private and corporate parties, over 1,450 events in total. I stay in the background, the music does the talking, and I build the transitions with my own edits. Schedule and speeches we agree beforehand; I handle the teardown as well.

If it sounds thin or doesn't reach the last row, my own PA is used instead. Which variant suits you better, we clarify in the preliminary talk, before you fix the details of your evening.
I choose my system to suit the room and guest count, so it can grow along with your registration list. My standard setup is enough for around 100 people. If your group gets larger, I pack the stronger system, with which I reach up to 150 guests.
I plan the change between meal, addresses and party with you in advance, so that my music only starts when your guests are ready for it. I switch my microphone on only for speeches and programme items; otherwise it stays off. Your guests thus experience no break between the honours and the first dance.
At the reception I play quiet music that doesn't drown out conversation, and in the hall the mix for the dance floor follows. I build this transition into your planning from the start, including an alternative in case a programme item runs longer than expected. You coordinate schedule and room change with the venue beforehand, and I adapt to your plan.
I send you the invoice after the event, and you settle it within 7 days. You usually hear from me on the same or the following day. Especially for dates in Advent you should enquire early; a lead time of three to six months makes sense.
Yes, I'm happy to arrange live musicians for saxophone, violin, percussion or vocals who perform alongside my set. I find a live performance particularly strong at the start of the party or as a loosening-up after the meal. The right moment you fix together with me in the briefing.

This is how working with me goes: you tell me the occasion, date and number of attendees, we clarify your ideas in a video call, and at the briefing a few days before the event we fix the schedule. On the day of the event I set up before your first guests arrive and check the sound in the empty room. For small and medium-sized groups I bring all my equipment, and for very large events I bring in technical partners so that you do not have to worry about anything.

Transparency
A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.
My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
