I am Michael Zimmermann, event DJ, and I accompany your corporate event at the Königssee from the sparkling-wine reception to the last track of the evening. I have been playing for more than 25 years, I have taken on company parties since 2004, and after over 1,450 events I know the music wishes of mixed workforces. Company parties at the Königssee
Whether an inn hall or a room with a panoramic terrace: I tune my equipment to such rooms, which is why the schedule is easy to coordinate with me. Five venues from the municipality show you how different a company evening can turn out here: from the beer-garden hall through the inn on the lakeshore to the mountain terrace, from anniversary to team party.
Around the lake, the offer for your party ranges from the small Königszimmer to halls for large groups. According to the operator, one venue has space for up to 110 people, another for up to 250, and I align my setup accordingly. So my first look is at the format of your party and the number of your guests.
You start outdoors with a reception and move into the hall later? Then I coordinate both sections with you in good time before the date. In the briefing I record how dinner, speeches and dance floor follow one another, so that no song bursts into your speakers' address. I set up the equipment myself and take it down again at the end; your team does not have to lift a finger.
The venue names company parties as an occasion. According to the operator, the large hall offers space for up to 110 people, split into 70 seats in the main area and 40 in the side area, and a beer garden is included. With a divided hall, I plan my equipment so that speeches and music reach your guests in both areas.
The inn names company parties and anniversaries as occasions and is a historic house on the lakeshore in the national park. According to the operator, the Königszimmer has space for up to 30 people, and the Historic Halls take up to 250. For small and large groups alike, I choose my setup to suit the room and your guest count.
The Jenneralm names company parties as an occasion and is a mountain restaurant at the top station of the Jennerbahn. According to the operator, the event room is 70 m² with a 35 m² panoramic terrace and holds up to 40 people with theatre seating. In such a compact room, I keep my equipment slim so that your team keeps space and the view.
The inn names company parties as an occasion. According to the operator, events for up to 60 people can be individually designed there. For a group of this size, I plan my system so that you manage without a large setup and the room belongs entirely to your team.
The venue names the company anniversary as an occasion. According to the operator, the large hall is licensed for a maximum of 300 people and has a stage, projector and XXL screen. For an anniversary, I coordinate with you how stage and screen fit into my setup and your programme.

Who I am
Equipment and setup are my responsibility: I bring speakers, wireless microphones and lighting myself. I do setup and soundcheck at least two hours before the start of your event at the Königssee, and the teardown follows. With me, the equipment runs in duplicate, with controller and laptop.
My start as a DJ was in the club in 1998; since 2004 I have been at private and corporate parties, over 1,450 events in total. I stay in the background, the music speaks. My own edits give your evening clean transitions. I answer your enquiry within 24 hours.

01I accompany parties of up to 500 guests, hitting the tone of your company and still luring the entire workforce onto the dance floor. What carries young and old along at the moment, I pick up on the evening itself. Since 2004 I have mastered this tightrope walk, as my clients Audi, BMW, Microsoft and Amazon confirm. Between the menu and the party, I plan some room so that a rambling speech does not tip your mood. For up to 150 guests I bring everything myself; for larger groups I bring in technical partners.

+49 176 700 580 27If the existing system is suitable for your room, I simply connect my laptop and controller there. If the existing system is not enough, I bring my own speakers so that everyone in the room hears cleanly. Whether that becomes necessary, I find out with you well before the date.
Room and guest count determine how I set up my system; I do not need a binding number from you for that. My standard setup carries a group of around 100 guests, nothing more is needed for that. If more come, I bring out my more powerful system, with which I cover up to 150 people.
My microphone stays reserved for speeches and programme items; otherwise I keep to the background and let the music work. How the transition from the last speech to the first round of dancing works, I plan with you beforehand. Then there is no hard cut for your guests.
For the reception, I play quiet tracks that support conversation, and afterwards I switch to dance-floor music in the room. I build the switch firmly into the schedule, including a plan B in case the weather gets in your way. You clarify the details on room and timetable with the venue, and I adapt.
The invoice comes from me after your party, and the payment term is 7 days. My reply to your enquiry usually comes on the same day, at the latest on the following one. If you are planning a summer or Advent event, please enquire early; three to six months' lead time is a good rule of thumb with me.
I am glad to bring musicians from my network, such as saxophone, violin, percussion or vocals, and they blend seamlessly into my mix. In my view, an appearance as an interlude after dinner or as the opening of the dance floor is ideal. When it suits your programme, we decide together.

If you want live music already at the reception or dinner, I'll arrange a well-rehearsed band of two to four musicians for you. After that I keep playing without a break, and because the planning is in my hands, I remain your single point of contact.

My collaboration with companies at the Königssee goes like this. You tell me the occasion, date and guest count, in the video call we listen to your wishes, and shortly before the event we fix the schedule in the briefing. On the day of the event, I set up before your first guests and listen through the sound thoroughly. For small and medium groups I bring my equipment completely; for large events I bring in technical partners.

Transparency
A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.
My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
