Wedding venues in and around Freising
For two and a half decades I have worked in the region's large venues, on country estates as well as in historic barns, and this knowledge flows into your planning. For your wedding around Freising I introduce eight venues here, from the castle in Hohenkammer to Au in the Hallertau.
If you want your celebration to take place in a venue just for you, it is worth looking at places that can be booked exclusively, with or without catering. Around Freising you can choose a barn with hotel rooms, a country inn with a conservatory for 110 guests, or a barn where you can dance until the early morning after dinner.
Where the celebration goes on into the early hours, I do not set a rigid end time but let your dance floor decide when the evening winds down. I bring two wireless microphones and my lighting equipment myself, so you do not have to organise anything extra for speeches and dancing at the venue. Setup and teardown are part of my offer; in an exclusively booked venue I plan both with you so that your guests notice nothing of it.
In Hohenkammer, Schloss Hohenkammer combines a hotel with an estate ensemble and several banquet halls. A symbolic wedding ceremony takes place, weather permitting, on the Birkenwiese meadow or in the Mariengarten, and celebrating late into the night is part of the wedding packages. For the outdoor reception I use a battery-powered system that needs no power socket.
Gut Thurnsberg is an equestrian estate from around 1500 in Kranzberg. The vaulted hall with its wooden beam ceiling suits a symbolic wedding ceremony, a chapel is available for a church wedding, and the barn offers space for dinner and dancing until the early morning. Kranzberg is already familiar to me as a place to celebrate. I distribute the sound so that the dance floor carries even at the back.
In Kirchdorf an der Amper you will find Schuhbauers Tenne, a converted barn with an outdoor area that, with room dividers, takes 50 to 550 guests. Weddings are expressly planned for there, the barn is let as a whole for your celebration, and the Oberwirt has hotel rooms. To the technology already on site I add whatever the dance floor is missing.
The Landgasthof Hofmeier in Hetzenhausen has the Salettl conservatory for up to 110 guests and side rooms for up to 80, plus a terrace for a standing reception and a wedding suite. I know the venue in Hetzenhausen from previous gigs. We agree in advance how the outdoor sparkling wine reception and the evening in the Salettl fit together, so the switch works without a pause.
It is rustic in the banquet hall of Geltl's Event in Oberhaindlfing, set within a country inn. The main hall holds up to 150 people, the Bavarian Stüberl up to 70, and the beer garden and outdoor areas offer room for dancing and celebrating. In the Stüberl a slim setup is enough; in the big hall I choose more reach.
In Allershausen, Ampertalstraße 4, the Fuchswirt runs an inn with a hotel and its own event venue. The banquet hall holds up to 200 guests; the dining room, fireplace room and Stüberl offer 45, 40 and 25 seats for smaller groups, and there are comfort rooms too. In Allershausen I have already experienced the atmosphere in the room myself. I arrange the setup so that hall and dance floor work together.
Right by the castle in Au in der Hallertau, Schlossbräugasse 2, the malt barn, brewhouse, Bierteufel, the Schlossbräukeller and a chapel are available for weddings, with catering on request. The beer garden under old chestnut trees hosts the standing reception. There a battery-powered system without a power cable is enough.
Since 1978 the Landgasthof Alter Wirt in Hallbergmoos, Hauptstraße 68, has served Bavarian cuisine and hosts weddings in its banquet hall. In good weather the bridal couple can be welcomed in the beer garden, and there is no time limit for the evening. With an open end, I set up the system for long evenings of dancing.

For your symbolic wedding ceremony, Schloss Hohenkammer has the Birkenwiese meadow or the Mariengarten, weather permitting, and Gut Thurnsberg offers a vaulted hall with a wooden beam ceiling. We will calmly discuss in advance how the entrance and the ring exchange should sound musically.
Who I am
Freising lies on the Isar at the edge of the Erdinger Moos, with the Domberg hill above the town, and at weddings here guests often meet who are only just getting to know each other. That calls for music that builds bridges, and that is what I deliver. I have managed this since 1998, when I started in clubs and learned how quickly a song connects strangers. Since 2004 I have played almost only private and corporate celebrations, over 650 weddings so far and more than 1,450 events in total.
When the bridal couple opens the dance and the family follows, I am quietly in the background and let the music speak. I cut my edits myself so there is no gap between two songs in which someone heads off to the bar. Celebrating together works when you step onto the dance floor without shyness.

Request a dateYou write to me with your key details, and I get back to you the next day at the latest. In the relaxed video call without any sales pressure we talk about the date, venue and first ideas, and then you receive a concrete quote.
Once you say yes to the booking, you get your own portal: there you enter requested songs and no-gos, plus special moments and the schedule. About a week in advance I call and we clarify all the details.
I am ready at least two hours before the guests: setting up the equipment, soundcheck, a short briefing with the celebrant or photographer. That way everything runs invisibly in the background later.
Chatting is welcome at the drinks reception, so the lounge music stays subtly in the background. The ring exchange, entrance and exit get their atmosphere from me, and if there is no power outside, the system runs on battery.
During the meal, atmospheric music plays in the background, and a wireless microphone is ready for speeches. Games, surprises and the bouquet toss each get the fitting musical setting from me.
The opening dance starts as an edit of your chosen song, and then I open the floor to everyone. I watch every reaction of the guests, keep changing the songs and keep all generations on their feet until the end.

+49 176 700 580 27The battery setup works without a power connection, so in the barn you need no extension cord and no socket within reach. It is compact and does not spoil the look, so that your photos later put the scenery in the foreground. It is equally suited to a sparkling wine reception in the garden, and I plan its use with you in advance.
As my playback source I work with controllers from Pioneer or Denon, and I choose the PA according to the size of the room. With 110 guests in the conservatory a small setup is no longer enough, so I take my larger equipment, which covers up to 150 guests. If it gets even fuller, technicians from my network join in, whom I coordinate on site for you.
You do not need request cards or slips of paper; music requests go through the first conversation with you. On the evening itself you or your guests can pass spontaneous requests directly to me. If a track misses the moment, I push it back until the dance floor is ready for it again.
Seven days before the celebration I call you, and we clarify when your guests move from the castle to the barn and which music accompanies them. A second controller and a second laptop always travel with me, so even if something fails it does not go silent in the hall. If an existing sound system is sufficient, I come with just my playback gear, which means no big setup and saves you time.
An audio box collects your guests' spoken good wishes, and you receive the file from me afterwards. LED uplights in your chosen colour can be combined with it, and I coordinate both with you. Just send me your idea and you will have my answer by the following day at the latest.

Service area
I also accompany weddings in Dachau, Pfaffenhofen and Schrobenhausen, and I come to you in Freising. The large district town lies north of Munich on the Isar, near the airport, and you will find the page for your wedding venue further down.
My planning for weddings in Freising runs in three steps: you send me the date, ceremony location and reception venue, we discuss your wishes in a video call, and shortly before the celebration we check the schedule and music once more. On the wedding day I arrive in good time for setup and test the system before your guests arrive.
