Celebrations in and around Freising

Birthday parties in Freising.

I have often accompanied birthdays in country inns, conservatories and barns, and what matters there goes into your planning. Seven venues around Freising are available for your birthday, from the country inn in Hetzenhausen to the Fuchswirt in Allershausen.

Barn or conservatory: birthday in Freising

Whether you celebrate in a Tenne that you book exclusively for yourself, or in a conservatory with other guests in the house, changes my set-up. Around Freising you'll find a Tenne with hotel rooms, a conservatory for up to 110 guests and additional rooms that hold up to 80 people.

For the side rooms with up to 80 people I pack a slim set, and for the conservatory with its 110 seats more power is added. I handle set-up and tear-down myself, which is part of my offer, and in an exclusively booked threshing barn you won't be disturbed. A week before your party, I go through with you on the phone who you're expecting and what must not be missing under any circumstances.

Von-Reuental-Straße 22, Hetzenhausen

Birthdays are expressly among the occasions the venue caters for, and there are rooms to stay overnight. For a small group I plan slim, in the Salettl I spread the sound around.

Geltl's Event

Dorfstraße 1, Oberhaindlfing

In Oberhaindlfing, a beer garden and a rustic hall shape Geltl's Event, where birthdays are expressly among the occasions. Up to 150 people fit in the main hall, up to 70 in the Bayerisches Stüberl, and this one can be rented separately.

Schuhbauers Tenne

Sternstraße 20, Kirchdorf an der Amper

In the village of Kirchdorf an der Amper you find Schuhbauers Tenne, once a barn and now converted, with an outdoor area; it is also suitable for family celebrations and can be adapted with room dividers to 50 to 550 people. You can book catering or leave it out, and for your guests the Oberwirt has hotel rooms ready for overnight stays.

Hotel Gasthof Maisberger

Bahnhofstraße 54, Neufahrn

The Hotel Gasthof Maisberger in Neufahrn, Bahnhofstraße 54, is run by the family in its fourth generation. For celebrating there are the Atrium restaurant, the guest rooms and the Bavaria side room, and the station is right next to the house. It is best to discuss the size of your group briefly with the venue.

Ampertalstraße 4, Allershausen

At the Fuchswirt in Allershausen, Ampertalstraße 4, you celebrate your birthday in the Gaststube with 45 seats, in the Kaminzimmer with 40, in the Stüberl with 25 or in the Festsaal with up to 200. On request, the house also opens for private celebrations outside opening hours. In the Kaminzimmer a quiet set-up is enough, in the Festsaal I provide more punch.

Schlossbräukeller Au

Schlossbräugasse 2, Au in der Hallertau

At the Schlossbräukeller near Au, Schlossbräugasse 2, birthdays are among the occasions. You pick the right room from the Malztenne, the Sudhaus, the Bierteufel or the cellar rooms, and in good weather you can move out to the beer garden. Depending on the room I choose a slim or a wide set-up.

Landgasthof Alter Wirt

Hauptstraße 68, Hallbergmoos

At the Alter Wirt in Hallbergmoos, Hauptstraße 68, birthdays are among the occasions: the Stüberl serves small groups, the Festsaal larger ones. In summer the beer garden invites you. In the Stüberl I set up only the bare essentials, in the Festsaal I use several speakers.

I took the guest numbers and room sizes from the operators' websites, as of October 2026. Whether your preferred date is free is, in the end, for the venue to tell you.

Who I am

Hello, I'm Micha.

You celebrate in Freising, and I play for you: the decks have been part of my life since 1998, at first in clubs, since 2004 at private and corporate parties, over 1450 in total. And because I have experienced so many evenings, I know fairly well what works at birthdays. A good party needs favourite songs, a few surprises and a dance floor that fills itself.

I take care of that with my own edits, which link tracks from different eras. Your guests, whether colleagues, friends or family, should celebrate without inhibition. Send me a wish or two beforehand, and I'll do the rest by feel. The Domberg can be seen from many corners of Freising, a good landmark for your guests before the music starts.

    One to two hours before the start, I am already there, setting up my equipment and doing the soundcheck. I coordinate with you or the venue, so that everything runs invisibly as far as guests are concerned.

  4. Arrival & Reception

    As the guests trickle in, subtle lounge music plays, inviting them to chat. The birthday guest of honour gets a fitting song at the reception, and other special moments also receive their own music.

  5. Dinner & programme items

    During the meal, I provide atmospheric music, and for speeches or announcements I have the microphone ready. Games, surprises and the cutting of the cake each get their musical frame.

  6. Dance floor & party

    One look at the dance floor is enough for me: once it is open, I read the mood, adapt the set live and bring all age groups together, right up to the last song.

Do you need a lot of space if we celebrate in Freising with 60 guests in the conservatory and the tables stay where they are?

If the conservatory has its own system, I work only with a playback device, so the big set-up is not needed and there is more room for your guests. Otherwise I set up at least two hours before the start and do the sound check, so everything is ready before you greet the first guests. After the party I do the tear-down myself, so you do not have to clear anything away at the end.

How do you connect my university friends and my parents when both groups want to dance at my party?

Two groups means two different tastes to me, so I switch between chart hits, house, Schlager and classics until both sides have their moment. From the nineties to the noughties I play plenty that your parents and friends all know. We discuss beforehand what the mix should look like, and your wishes feed into my planning.

Who takes over if you are in bed with the flu on the Saturday of my party?

If a DJ drops out, an equivalent colleague from my network steps in on the same agreed terms, so you don't have to fear a cancellation. I also bring my controller and laptop in duplicate, so even an equipment failure won't leave the dance floor in silence. In my 25 years, a short-notice cancellation has caught me out exactly once.

Can you set up an audio box for good wishes if I celebrate in the barn with 40 people?

An audio box records your guests' spoken wishes, and you get the file from me afterwards. On request I light the barn with LED uplights in the colour you choose, and the two combine well. Whether you like that, we think through together in our first chat.

Do you also play hits from the seventies when my father celebrates his seventieth in the garden?

From the seventies to the current charts my repertoire covers everything, including the songs your father grew up with. I put together a request list and possible no-gos for your father with you in advance, and on the evening guests' spontaneous requests are added. If a track does not fit right now, I play it at another point in the evening.

    Who i'm not the right DJ for

    A whole evening of nothing but Schlager and Ballermann, hour after hour? A few big crowd-pleasers in between, when the mood calls for it, belong to a good birthday party for me. Building a whole evening on them alone isn't my thing, though. I'm just as little the right person for non-stop techno sets without any contact with the crowd, for rigid request lists that get worked through from top to bottom, or for festival formats with several stages. There are other DJs who can do exactly that and love it, nothing against them, it's simply not my speciality.

    My craft is mixing live for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.

    If that doesn't suit your party, I'm not the right one, and that's fine. If it does, let's talk.
