I'm Michael Zimmermann, party DJ, and if you celebrate your birthday in Eichstätt, I mix you a live set that sounds like you and your crowd. I've been behind the decks for over 25 years, I've played private celebrations since 2004, and more than 1450 events have shaped my music selection. Whether you celebrate indoors or outdoors, I set up the equipment so that the dance floor and walkways stay clear.

Birthday venues in Eichstätt
Festival hall with a stage, vaulted cellar or inn garden: how a birthday sounds depends heavily on the room, and I take these differences into account for your party. For your birthday I present eight addresses here between Eichstätt, Kottingwörth, Beilngries and Schernfeld.
For the smallest circle, a country inn in the Altmühltal offers a Stube for 20 guests, and for larger groups a big hall with a stage. If your group is bigger, a Gasthaus in the region also hosts birthdays, and its vaulted cellar, including a dance floor, has room for up to 90 guests. In town itself, a house on the Residenzplatz has a large hall with a stage and a smaller hall for your party, and the operating family takes care of the catering there.
If 150 guests or more turn up in the end, a sound company from my network scales up the setup, and you don't have to look for a second provider yourself. I arrive at the latest two hours before your party starts, set up my system and do a sound check.
In the function hall of the country inn in Grösdorf, up to 250 guests celebrate on 330 square metres, and there's a 30 square metre stage as well. For a smaller group, the Fischerstüberl offers 20 seats and the Gaststube 30. With few guests a slim set-up is enough for me; with 250 I use the full width of the hall.
Birthdays are explicitly listed among the occasions, and there are 9 guest rooms for anyone who doesn't want to drive home. In the vaulted cellar I place the speakers so that the bass doesn't make the walls boom.
The family has run the inn in Kottingwörth since 1855, and since June 2022 the traditional inn and large hall have been completely renovated. You can celebrate birthdays and christenings there as well as weddings, and outside there is a beer garden and a wine pavilion on the Altmühltal cycle path. For the large hall I plan the dance floor with you, and in the beer garden quiet background music plays.
If you celebrate a milestone birthday, at Residenzplatz you can choose between the large festival hall with stage and the Holbeinsaal, which is a little smaller, and the owner family takes care of the catering themselves. Which of the two rooms suits your party depends on the number of guests, and I set up the system and dance floor accordingly.
In Paulushofen the country inn has an air-conditioned festival hall for around 200 guests, where birthdays are also celebrated. A sound system and mobile stage are available, and in the courtyard there is a beer garden under old chestnut trees. In good weather I match the beer garden and the hall so that the music suits both places.
Anyone celebrating their birthday at the Braugasthof in Beilngries can choose between the Malztenne for 70 guests, the Hahnenstube for 40 and the Hofgarten, which also fits 70 guests. In the courtyard there's a beer fountain where you pour your own, so your party gets a talking point right away. For the Hahnenstube a small set-up is enough for me.
In the middle of the old town of Beilngries stands the Fuchsbräu, whose 71 guest rooms are spread across six buildings, and the hotel also hosts family celebrations. For your group, the Historischer Saal for up to 80 guests and the Kaiserbeck-Hof for up to 30 guests are options, and the beer garden hosts up to 120. If you have guests from further away, they stay right in the house. In the beer garden I use the dance floor and let the evening wind down there.
The country inn in Schernfeld hosts family celebrations and has a hall for up to 220 people for this, which you can have set up as you wish. A side room, guest rooms and a summer terrace complement it. If you celebrate big, I split the hall into dining and dancing areas; for a small group the side room is enough.
I took the guest numbers and room sizes from the operators' websites, as of October 2026. Whether your preferred date is free is, in the end, for the venue to tell you.
Who I am
Your birthday in Eichstätt: a baroque old town, the Altmühltal on your doorstep, friends and a DJ who knows what he's doing. I've been behind the decks since 1998, first in clubs, and since 2004 for private and corporate parties, with more than 1450 gigs. Listening is my most important tool. I watch what happens on the dance floor and play accordingly.
Custom edits blend classics with new hits, so that a fan of the nineties can dance next to a student. Feel free to send requests beforehand, a few surprises I mix in myself. In the end this holds: if you laugh and your guests do too, the evening has worked.
How it works
I reply within a day, then come a short video call, the booking, and set-up and sound check, and in the end your dance floor stands in the vaulted hall or wherever you're celebrating. See the whole process →
Request a dateLet me know briefly what you are planning, and you will have my reply within 24 hours. A short video call is enough to get to know each other, in which you tell me about your celebration, and then I create your quote.
Once the booking is made, you get my private mobile number, and WhatsApp then becomes our short route. About seven days before the celebration, we go through all the details: requested songs, no-gos, schedule.
Whether vaulted cellar, hall or garden: my equipment is in place one to two full hours before the start. The soundcheck includes agreeing things with the venue or with you, and afterwards everything stays invisible.
As soon as the first guests are there, subtle lounge music fills the room and makes conversation easy. The birthday guest of honour and special moments are highlighted musically with a fitting piece.
Whether menu, speech or cake: I provide the musical frame and keep the microphone ready for announcements. For games and surprises too, I make sure every moment has the right music.
From the first dance on, I am in demand. I read the dance floor, adapt the set live and make sure all generations move together until the last song.

+49 176 700 580 27Which songs from your school days are a must and which you want struck off, we sort out beforehand in a chat, along with your taste overall. For the switch between the two worlds, in the last days before the party I cut my own edits that exist only on your evening. If your nieces ask for R&B, that's on my list of genres just as much as electro swing.
If you like, I bring LED uplights, and their colour shifts with the music over the course of the evening. My photo station can also run automatically, with props, a digital gallery and, if you wish, an instant print for you. For your guests' phone pictures there is Feierblick, completely without an app; that is a recommendation from me and is not booked through me.
For your milestone birthday, a venue in town lists a hall with a stage, plus a smaller second room, with the family who run the venue taking care of the catering. I keep the start gentle so that choir, club and relatives can still chat in peace, and the tempo only rises once the first people head to the floor. If your choir sings you a serenade, I'll announce it and also host all the other items on the programme of your celebration.
During the meal, an ensemble of two to four musicians can play lounge, jazz or pop if you wish, so a duo fits in. Once the ensemble is done, I take over with my DJ set. For the toast I can also arrange a saxophonist from my network on request, whose live playing layers over my mix.
After your enquiry you hear from me within 24 hours whether the Sunday in my calendar is still open. If it is free, we talk about your plans for the fortieth in a no-obligation video call. Afterwards I coordinate timings and arrangements for the Sunday with the venue and your other service providers.

Transparency
A whole evening of nothing but Schlager and Ballermann, hour after hour? A few big crowd-pleasers in between, when the mood calls for it, belong to a good birthday party for me. Building a whole evening on them alone isn't my thing, though. I'm just as little the right person for non-stop techno sets without any contact with the crowd, for rigid request lists that get worked through from top to bottom, or for festival formats with several stages. There are other DJs who can do exactly that and love it, nothing against them, it's simply not my speciality.
My craft is mixing live for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
