Eight venues between Friedberg, Mering, Kissing and Augsburg are available for your birthday, from the Gasthaus am Marienplatz to the event location by the water.

Hall with service or your own kitchen: birthday in Friedberg

If you're planning a big party, the hall of one inn holds 200 guests at most; it lists birthdays among its occasions and offers house service such as catering itself. If you'd like to take care of the food yourself, a municipal venue with five rooms allows your own catering and brings lighting, stage and sound, so ask there yourself whether your party is possible. For a smaller group, a traditional inn in a neighbouring municipality lists milestone birthdays, with seats for 25, 35 or up to 100 of your guests.

On Marienplatz in Friedberg's old town stands the inn whose Wappensaal holds up to 200 people. For your guests I set the music so that it stays quiet during the meal and is good for dancing afterwards.

Andechser Mering

Marktplatz 8, Mering

The traditional inn in Mering, located on the market square, has a gallery with up to 100 seats, plus the Marktstube for 35 and the Wirtsstube for 25 guests. Milestone birthdays are part of the regular programme. For the small rooms a slim set-up is enough, one that does not drown out conversation at the table.

Between about 40 and 250 people fit in the event location at the Friedberger See, and birthdays are booked there too. Between terrace and hall, I tune the music for you.

Gut Mergenthau

Mergenthau, Kissing

The estate is in Mergenthau, a district of Kissing, and offers a drive-in threshing floor of over 600 square metres as well as a historic vaulted cellar that holds up to 100 people, with a terrace at ground level. Private parties such as birthdays are among the occasions. I set up the sound in the threshing floor so that the music spreads evenly across the whole area.

Schmiedberg 3, Ried-Baindlkirch

The Landgasthof in Baindlkirch has a restaurant with 140 seats, a Stüberl and a conservatory with 50 seats each, and a beer garden. The house celebrates birthdays and anniversaries, and for large groups there is the festival hall for up to 215 people. In the Stüberl a small, warm-sounding set-up is enough for me.

Bootshaus am Kuhsee

Oberländer Straße 106a, Augsburg

The restaurant and event location sit right on the water of the Kuhsee in Augsburg. Birthdays are part of the offer, as are weddings, corporate parties, Christmas parties and summer parties. In good weather I have a battery-powered system ready for the party on the shore, with no socket needed.

Schlossgaststätte Wellenburg

Wellenburg 4, Augsburg

The Schlossgaststätte Wellenburg in Augsburg is furnished in country-house style and holds up to 140 people. Birthdays are among the house’s occasions, and a sunny terrace and beer garden are also available. At your party I let the music move along between the dining room and the terrace.

Reitpark Mergenthau

Mergenthau 2, Kissing

The Reitpark is in Mergenthau near Kissing, in a former paper mill. The venue includes an event hall, restaurant, terrace and beer garden, and parties are expressly catered for. For your birthday, I tailor the music to the hall and guest count, and you can simply ask the venue how many people fit inside.

I took the guest numbers and room sizes from the operators' websites, as of October 2026. Whether your preferred date is free is, in the end, for the venue to tell you.

Who I am

Hello, I'm Micha.

You're celebrating in Friedberg, I come to you from Aichach and bring everything an evening needs. I started in clubs in 1998, and since 2004 it has grown to over 1450 private and corporate celebrations. For birthdays that means: I know the phases of an evening, from calm arrival to the exuberant finale. My own edits blend classics with new tracks, so nobody drops out on the dance floor.

I stay in the background, after all you are the centre of attention. Send me your favourite songs and all the ones that must not be played under any circumstances, and I'll sort out the rest. And if your birthday falls in August, when the Volks- und Heimatfest is on in Friedberg: all the better, the mood is good anyway.

    A short message via the form is enough, and you will have my reply as early as the next day. In the video call we get acquainted, you tell me about your party, and afterwards you get a quote from me.

    After booking, you message me directly via WhatsApp, because you get my private mobile number. About a week before the party, we go through everything, from requested songs to no-gos.

  3. Set-up & sound check

    Equipment, soundcheck and last questions: I take care of all of that one to two full hours earlier, together with the venue or with you, so that nothing is left to be seen when the guests arrive.

  4. Arrival & Reception

    Quiet lounge music plays in the background while the guests arrive and start chatting. When the birthday guest of honour enters the room or a special moment is coming up, I choose exactly the right track.

  5. Dinner & programme items

    Atmospheric music plays in the background during dinner. Speeches and announcements go through my microphone, and whether a game, a surprise or the cake cutting, every moment gets the right frame from me.

  6. Dance floor & party

    Guests who want to dance get the right sound from me: as soon as the floor is open, I take over, rework the set live and unite all generations until the last number fades.

Do you bring your own system in Friedberg if our hall by the lake already has lighting and a stage?

An event location by the lake lists birthdays among its occasions and has a screen, a stage and a lighting system, in case you celebrate there. My PA always comes along for the sound, because I don't blindly trust someone else's equipment at your party. Lighting is part of my basic equipment anyway, even if the venue has its own system.

What do you do if my colleagues shout for Ballermann hits all evening?

If the mood calls for it, I'm happy to throw in a few bangers now and then, that's part of a successful birthday party for me. Building the whole evening around that, however, is not my thing, not at your party either. From the booking onwards, you send requests directly to my mobile number via WhatsApp, so I have your no-gos before the party.

Do I have to look for a second provider for a photo booth if my eighteenth takes place in June?

With my photo station, set-up, tear-down and technology all run through me, so you don't need a second provider for it. If you like, it prints your guests' pictures right on site. If you want the pictures from phones to end up in one place without an app, Feierblick is my tip for you, but it is not booked through me.

Will you stay the whole Saturday if my sixtieth starts at midday and runs into the night?

My playing time ranges from a few hours in the afternoon to accompanying you through the whole day, depending on the occasion and the number of guests. If the day brings a special moment, I react to it live with the music. I agree the times from midday to night with the venue and your other suppliers beforehand.

Will everyone find something if grandchildren, neighbours and the gymnastics club celebrate at my seventieth?

I rely on music that your guests know and love, and I have the courage to play the unexpected now and then. Because I know how to bring several generations onto one dance floor, Otis Redding and Dua Lipa are no coincidence next to each other in my set. To start, I choose tracks you can still chat comfortably to, and only when the first people are on the floor do I raise the tempo.

    Who i'm not the right DJ for

    A whole evening of nothing but Schlager and Ballermann, hour after hour? A few big crowd-pleasers in between, when the mood calls for it, belong to a good birthday party for me. Building a whole evening on them alone isn't my thing, though. I'm just as little the right person for non-stop techno sets without any contact with the crowd, for rigid request lists that get worked through from top to bottom, or for festival formats with several stages. There are other DJs who can do exactly that and love it, nothing against them, it's simply not my speciality.

    My craft is mixing live for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.

    If that doesn't suit your party, I'm not the right one, and that's fine. If it does, let's talk.
