Parties in and around Donauwörth
Again and again I play birthdays in baroque halls, hotels and castles around Donauwörth, and along the way I collect ideas that help you too. Eight venues in and around Donauwörth offer room for your milestone birthday, from the baroque hall at the castle to the monastery vault.
For your family celebration, the city page names an accessible hotel in town whose restaurant has about 150 seats. If your guests stay overnight, the same house has 25 rooms, which you enquire about directly there. In a second hotel a hall can be divided; as a whole it holds at most 120 guests, and the smaller part has room for up to 64, in case your group stays manageable.
If it's going to be a big party, a castle in one of the neighbouring villages lists birthdays as an occasion, and its heated hall seats 172 people at individual tables. Seven days before your celebration we'll talk by phone and go through the schedule, must-play songs, no-gos and special moments, whichever venue you choose.

The venue is in Wemding's old town and also hosts birthdays. With such a big group I tune the music to table talk at the start and to the dance floor late in the evening.
At the Landgasthof Weberhans in Mündling near Harburg the hall is designed for up to 140 people, and family celebrations are among the occasions the house hosts. For your birthday I choose a system that suits the room and does not drown out the table. You just confirm the number of guests briefly with the venue.
The event room in Westendorf is step-free, was renovated in 2019 and is intended for birthdays as well as seminars and weddings. It seats 120 guests, or 150 standing. Because the room comes with a microphone, projector and screen, I can build a slideshow or a speech into your evening.
In Allmannshofen, Hotel Kloster Holzen offers for birthdays a vaulted restaurant with 100 seats, a Jägerstüble with 30 seats and a terrace with 80. If you want to celebrate longer, there are 63 rooms to stay overnight. Depending on the size of your group, you choose the vault or the Stüble, and I tune the sound to it.
On the Reichsstraße in Donauwörth you will find the Hotel Restaurant Goldener Hirsch with around 150 seats in the restaurant and 25 rooms. Family celebrations are part of what it offers, and the house is step-free. For your birthday in the restaurant, I bring my own speakers, such as RCF or Electro-Voice.
The Parkhotel Donauwörth explicitly lists birthdays among its occasions. The Panorama banquet hall has room for 120 guests; split, Panorama 1 alone offers 64 seats, and a dance floor is available. Depending on the number of guests, you choose the whole hall or the smaller part, and I tailor the music to it.
The Alte Brauerei in Mertingen is a country inn, restaurant and hotel with a brewery hall and 19 rooms. The venue hosts birthdays and family celebrations, from the small circle to the large hall. For your evening in the brewery hall, I set up the system so that first conversations at the table and later the dance floor take centre stage.
I took the guest numbers and room sizes from the operators' websites, as of October 2026. Whether your preferred date is free is, in the end, for the venue to tell you.
Who I am
Your birthday in Donauwörth becomes a party when music and people fit together. My part is the music. I've been DJing since 1998, first in clubs, and since 2004 almost only at private and corporate celebrations, over 1450 times so far. I don't play a fixed playlist, I take my cue from your guests and from what the dance floor demands.
Tell me beforehand which songs should play and which should definitely not. Custom edits connect old and new so that nobody stays seated. After the first song it's usually clear where the evening is heading, and from then on it's really fun.

My private mobile number comes with the booking: you can send a message via WhatsApp at any time. About seven days before the date, we sort out requested songs, no-gos and the schedule together.
Because the equipment should be in place in good time, I am on site one to two full hours beforehand. We take care of the setup and soundcheck in peace, arrangements are made with you or gladly with the venue, and your guests will not notice any of it later.
As soon as the guests come in, there is gentle lounge music for arriving and chatting. The birthday guest of honour and special moments are honoured with a specially chosen song.
Pleasant music plays during the meal, and I take the microphone for announcements and speeches. Games, surprises and the cake cutting each get a fitting musical introduction and accompaniment.
The dance floor is opened, and from there I guide the evening. I notice what sweeps the guests along, adapt the set immediately and bring all age groups together, right up to the last song.

+49 176 700 580 27I announce the handover, and I also host all the other items of your evening for you. If the children are to say a few words, I hand them one of my two wireless microphones. I agree the timing of the handover with you, the venue and your other service providers beforehand.
With me, the music doesn't end according to a schedule but when your dance floor shows it, and the clock plays no role. If you want to extend spontaneously, we sort it out directly between us at my decks. When it's over, I tear everything down on my own, so you don't have to worry about it.
I always have a second controller and a second laptop in the car so I can swap in case of a fault. There's also always a backup system ready for you that keeps your dance floor from falling silent. That way I practically rule out a total failure of the system.
I collect the wishes of your cousins and your children in the preliminary talk, not through slips of paper or request cards. With my own song edits I build transitions between the decades that don't exist on record. If your children like electro swing or R&B as well as the charts, both are in my repertoire.
On request, my photo station provides an instant print, and your guests can take their photo home straight away. On request I take your favourite colour for my LED uplights. Over the course of your evening, their colour then changes to match the music.

Transparency
A whole evening of nothing but Schlager and Ballermann, hour after hour? A few big crowd-pleasers in between, when the mood calls for it, belong to a good birthday party for me. Building a whole evening on them alone isn't my thing, though. I'm just as little the right person for non-stop techno sets without any contact with the crowd, for rigid request lists that get worked through from top to bottom, or for festival formats with several stages. There are other DJs who can do exactly that and love it, nothing against them, it's simply not my speciality.
My craft is mixing live for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
