I started DJing more than 25 years ago, since 2004 I have stood behind the decks at family celebrations, and over 1450 events have shown me how a room feels before the dance floor is full. Parties in the valley and on the mountain
Parlours, hotel halls and terraces in the mountains each sound different, and what I know about such rooms goes into planning your party. Six venues are on offer for your birthday: the Riessersee Hotel, the Graseck above the gorge, the Hotel Zugspitze, the Klammhaus, the Gasthof Fraundorfer and the Schranne.
In the Werdenfelser Land, for your birthday you often choose between a wood-panelled parlour in an inn, a festive hotel hall and an outdoor terrace, and each of these rooms calls for a different sound. Whether it is a table with twelve guests or a hall full of relatives, I choose speakers and placement to suit your guest count.
At home or in the garden, a small mobile system of mine plays even without mains power, and I take care of the equipment completely. We discuss access, power and set-up time in good time, so that on the big day all you have to do is raise a toast.
The Riessersee Hotel lists birthdays as an occasion, alongside weddings and anniversaries. According to the operator, up to 80 guests fit, and the aperitif is served on the lake terrace by the fire bowl. I set up my equipment to suit the area you choose.
The Graseck above the Partnachklamm lists birthdays as an occasion, as well as weddings, anniversaries and corporate events. According to the operator, up to 100 guests can be catered for in the restaurants, and with exclusive hire, celebrating into the night with live music or a DJ is possible. How I set up depends on how you structure your evening.
The Hotel Zugspitze lists birthday, anniversary, wedding, Christmas party and company party as occasions. According to the operator, the Wank Stub'n has room for up to 50 people, the Zugspitz Stad'l for up to 35. For such manageable parlours a compact system is enough for me, and I decide its size with you according to your number of guests.
The Klammhaus on the Partnach is a traditional inn with wood-panelled parlours and a beer garden right at the entrance to the Partnach Gorge, and it lists birthday parties as an occasion. How much space you need for my equipment, we clarify as soon as you have decided between parlour or beer garden.
The Hotel und Gasthof Fraundorfer in Partenkirchen lists birthday parties and company parties as occasions. According to the operator, the restaurant has 180 seats and the terrace 70. For the big table in the restaurant as well as the smaller group on the terrace, I choose the sound system and its position to suit your guests.
The Gasthaus zur Schranne lists birthdays, anniversaries and weddings as occasions. According to the operator, the hall on the first floor has room for up to 70 people, and on the ground floor up to 120 people are served. A beer garden also belongs to the house, and we discuss the set-up as soon as you have decided on an area.

Who I am
I bring music and sound system to your birthday in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From the clubs of 1998 I grew into private and corporate celebrations, and since 2004 over 1450 events have come together. I stay in the background, the music speaks, and you are right in the middle of your party.
My edits blend hits from several decades so that your guests of every age stay with it. Whether friends, family or colleagues, I make sure nobody is left standing at the edge at your party. Give me your wishes beforehand, and I'll build your evening around them.

Request a dateTell me in your enquiry what you are planning. I will get back to you within 24 hours, we will get to know each other in a short video call, and then you will receive an offer that suits your mountain celebration.
Once the booking is confirmed, I will send you my private mobile number and we will stay in touch via WhatsApp. A week before the party we will go through all the details, meaning requested songs, no-gos and schedule.
I take care of the sound check and equipment setup one to two hours before the start, in consultation with you or your venue. By the time the first guests walk through the door, everything runs invisibly in the background.
Arriving should feel good, so subtle lounge music plays in the background while the guests chat. For the birthday guest of honour and special moments, I pick music that fits exactly.
With me, every part of the programme has its own music: atmospheric for the meal, with a microphone for speeches and announcements, and fitting for games, surprises and the cutting of the birthday cake.
My time begins when the dance floor opens. I read the dance floor, shape the set live around it, and in the end all generations dance together until the last song.

My set-up stays slim, so your parlour keeps its own character. Whether the group dances or would rather sit at the table, I see after a few tracks.
For your own words, whether a toast or a thank-you speech, I keep a wireless microphone ready that you can grab at any time. When you give a speech, I turn the music down and gently back up afterwards, without you having to worry about it. How often I should announce something in addition, you decide with me beforehand.
You can shout spontaneous requests to me all evening without having to fill in anything. If a request falls out of place right now, I catch up on it as soon as it fits the mood. Your list is the foundation for me, but not an obligation.
If you are planning a milestone birthday, it is best to enquire with me as soon as the date is set, because popular dates go quickly. For smaller parties four to eight weeks are often enough for me, provided my calendar is still free. If your date is already close, call me, and I will tell you right away.
Musicians from my network play live over my mix if you like, for example on saxophone, violin or with vocals, and I put you in touch. Whether they accompany the reception quietly or set the highlight of your evening, we work out together in the initial chat. Percussion can also be worked in, that's up to you.

Transparency
A whole evening of nothing but Schlager and Ballermann, hour after hour? A few big crowd-pleasers in between, when the mood calls for it, belong to a good birthday party for me. Building a whole evening on them alone isn't my thing, though. I'm just as little the right person for non-stop techno sets without any contact with the crowd, for rigid request lists that get worked through from top to bottom, or for festival formats with several stages. There are other DJs who can do exactly that and love it, nothing against them, it's simply not my speciality.
My craft is mixing live for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
