Parties in and around Neuburg
I have looked after many birthdays in country inns and halls, and what matters there goes into your planning. Eight venues around Neuburg are available for your birthday, from the country inn in the surrounding area to the Art Nouveau Festsaal in town.
Whether you celebrate with eighty guests in a barn or with three hundred in a banqueting hall changes how I set up my equipment for you. In Neuburg an der Donau you'll find a barn for 80 guests, a hall for 120 people and a banqueting hall with up to 300 seats in rows.
For each of these sizes I bring suitable equipment: small groups get a slim set-up, large groups more power. My own equipment is designed for 150 guests too, while small groups get a slim set-up instead. A week beforehand we go through by phone who is coming and what music you want.
At the country inn in Weichering, birthdays are explicitly provided for as an occasion, and there is also an inn garden. The Kleine Saal offers 40 seats, the Rosensaal 120, both halls together 200. How much space you plan for the dance floor determines how I position the speakers.
Family celebrations find their place in the Art Nouveau festival hall of the Rennbahn, with restaurant, bar and wine bar included. Up to 180 guests sit at round tables, up to 300 in rows, and up to 400 standing. I plan with you whether the music plays more at the bar or in the hall.
The brewery inn in Bergen hosts birthdays, anniversaries and family celebrations. For a small group by the fireplace I keep the system discreet so that people can talk at the table.
You can also celebrate birthdays at the Hotel Kirchbaur Hof, in the hall with up to 100 people or in the Gewölbestadl. The house opens banquets from 20 adults. With such a manageable group, the sound gets by with a few speakers.
Whoever thinks of a terrace with a view of the castle ends up at the Arco-Schlösschen. Outside there is room for 100 guests, in the restaurant for 70. I tune the music for terrace and interior so that both areas suit your evening.
A restaurant and hotel in Marxheim, where birthdays are among the occasions the venue hosts. Up to 200 guests are possible in the Remise, and about 25 can stay overnight at the house. For your group, I set up the dance floor in the Remise so that even the edge of the room still gets music.
Family-run organic hotel with restaurant, café and bar in the old town, high above the Danube. You celebrate birthdays here in the house, and the hotel gives exact room sizes on request. Because old-town lanes get quiet, I keep an eye on the volume going outside.
Up to 120 people are possible, sound and lighting equipment is in the house. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday the Alm is reserved for events, so check your date with the house.

Who I am
Getting to your birthday in Neuburg is a bit of a drive for me, around thirty kilometres from Aichach, but all the equipment comes along. My time behind the decks began in clubs in 1998, and since 2004 it's almost only private and corporate parties, more than 1450. That's enough for a reliable gut feeling for when a song works and when it doesn't.
You don't have to supply a playlist, but if you have one, I take it seriously. My own edits give hits from the nineties, current charts and disco classics a common thread. Your guests, young and old, should meet happily on the dance floor. We sort out everything else briefly beforehand, and the evening takes care of the rest by itself.

Request a dateYou fill in the enquiry, and I reply the next day. In a short video call I tell you a little about myself, you tell me about your celebration, and then you receive my offer.
After booking you receive my private mobile number and can reach me on WhatsApp whenever you like. In the week before your party we sort out the schedule, music requests and no-gos together.
The sound check is part of my setup, which I complete between one and two hours before the start. I clear up open points with you and the venue at the same time, so that later nobody notices the equipment.
Calm lounge music in the background is part of arriving, and it does not disturb conversation. And when the birthday guest of honour walks in or a special moment is coming up, I choose music that suits it exactly.
While people are eating, atmospheric music plays in the background. I make announcements on the microphone and pass it on for speeches, and for games, surprises or the cutting of the cake I set fitting accents.
When the dance floor is opened, I take the helm. My set grows live with the mood in the room, and all generations come together until the last song has faded.

If there isn't one, I carry on with the battery set-up, so you don't have to arrange any extension leads. We discuss set-up time and the venue's quirks beforehand, so you have nothing left to clarify on the day.
At a birthday, family often meets friends and colleagues, which is why I build my sets from charts, hip-hop, Schlager and classics of the nineties. Who is dancing right now decides the next track for me, and I watch that constantly. As a DJ I also make announcements and guide you through the evening if your programme ever stalls.
I bring a microphone for announcements and speeches, so your sister can speak straight into it. I fade the music out before the speech and back in afterwards, so the transition stays calm for your guests. If someone prefers to stand at the microphone themselves, I'll hand it to them, just as you like.
Milestone birthdays on Saturdays in the summer half-year have 6 to 12 months' lead time with me, which is the range where things rarely get tight. For a weekday party, 4 to 8 weeks' notice is often enough for me. If you're asking at short notice, just get in touch with me directly and I'll tell you right away whether the day is still free.
I can arrange a violin or percussion from my network for you, played live over my mix. For the meal, a small band can also be planned, from a duo to a quartet, and afterwards I take over seamlessly with the dance music. Which moment suits best, we clarify together before I organise the performance for you.

Transparency
A whole evening of nothing but Schlager and Ballermann, hour after hour? A few big crowd-pleasers in between, when the mood calls for it, belong to a good birthday party for me. Building a whole evening on them alone isn't my thing, though. I'm just as little the right person for non-stop techno sets without any contact with the crowd, for rigid request lists that get worked through from top to bottom, or for festival formats with several stages. There are other DJs who can do exactly that and love it, nothing against them, it's simply not my speciality.
My craft is mixing live for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
