Wedding venues in and around Neuburg
I have often handled how celebrations run in alpine-style huts, banquet halls and country inns of the region, and that helps you in planning. For your wedding around Neuburg I introduce eight venues here, from the Burgwaldhof with symbolic wedding ceremony to the Land-Steakhaus in the surrounding area in Marxheim.
Whether you celebrate rustic with lots of wood or elegantly in a hall determines how I set up sound and lighting for you. In Neuburg an der Donau you'll find a rustic alpine hut with sound and lighting equipment for 120 guests and an Art Nouveau banquet hall where up to 180 guests sit at round tables.
I can serve both moods, in the alpine hut with a dense programme, in the banquet hall with clear sound for the banquet table, and Pioneer or Denon controllers serve as my playback devices. Mixed generations bring different wishes on both sides, so I switch between schlager, pop, house and current charts, depending on who steps onto your dance floor. Two hours before the start, setup and sound check are finished, so you begin without technical stress in the hut as in the hall.
The Burgwaldhof near Neuburg has a large park and several rooms in the house. Your symbolic wedding ceremony takes place under oaks with a view of the Danube valley, at a fountain or on the veranda. The celebration is held indoors or in the park; up to 100 guests sit in rows, and for the banquet it is up to 140. For the outdoor ceremony I use a battery-powered system that needs no power outlet.
It's rustic at the ACKER Alm am Maschinenring, with the hotel right next door. Up to 120 people celebrate here, weddings included, and sound and lighting equipment come with the venue. I know the conditions in Neuburg an der Donau from my own experience. I adapt my system to them and add only what is missing for your evening.
From the terrace of the Arco-Schlösschen you look out at the castle. Outside there is room for up to 100 guests, in the restaurant up to 70, and bookings start from 30 adults. With the reception outside and the meal indoors, I set the volume separately so that the music on the terrace doesn't drown out the tables in the restaurant.
In Bergen there is a hotel with a brewery inn, which includes a fireplace room, malt barn floor, hay barn floor and a monastery park of 3 hectares. The malt barn holds 30 to 140 guests, the hay barn 20 to 80, the monastery garden 2 to 150. Neuburg-Bergen is already familiar to me as a celebration venue. In the barns I distribute the sound across several speakers so that it doesn't boom.
Restaurant, bar and wine bar are in the Rennbahn under one roof with the Art Nouveau banquet hall. At round tables up to 180 guests are seated, in rows of chairs up to 300, and up to 400 come for a standing reception. For a wedding of this size I distribute the speakers so that dance floor and tables are equally well covered.
A beer garden belongs to the country inn in Weichering. The Rosensaal has room for 120 guests, together with the Kleiner Saal it is 200, and the Hochzeits-Stadl has 80 seats. I know the venue in Weichering from earlier gigs. In the Stadl a lean setup is enough; for the two halls we plan the dance floor together.
The Land-Steakhaus in Marxheim has three places to celebrate: the Remise for up to 200 guests, the Stadelbar for up to 120 and an outdoor wedding pavilion for up to 180. About 25 guests can stay overnight in the venue's hotel. In the pavilion and in the Remise I tune the sound specifically to each room.
A vaulted barn and an atrium in the garden belong to Hotel Kirchbaur Hof on Monheimer Straße. Banquets are available from 20 adults, and the hall holds up to 100 people depending on seating. That suits small to medium weddings well, and I tune the sound to the vault and the garden.

Who I am
Neuburg an der Donau was the residence city of the Palatinate-Neuburg line, the old town lies above the river, and from Aichach it is roughly thirty kilometres to you. I'm a northerner who has made Bavaria his home. That I play at weddings today I owe to the clubs: I started there in 1998, and over the years my guests from back then became couples looking for a DJ for their day.
Since 2004 this has been almost my entire business; over 650 weddings are now on my list, plus other celebrations, more than 1,450 events together. I prefer to be the one you hardly notice, who nevertheless plays the right song at the right moment. My own edits help me build transitions that carry parents-in-law and friends along alike.

Request a dateAs soon as your enquiry arrives, I reply the same day or the next. In the video call with no obligation, we talk about the date, venue and music wishes for your big day, and then I send you a concrete quote.
From booking onwards, the wedding portal is open to you: there you collect requested songs, no-gos, your schedule and special moments in one place. A week beforehand, I call you and we finalise everything.
For me, setup begins at least two hours before the start, with equipment, sound check and a brief briefing with the celebrant and photographer. Whether outdoors or in the hall: when the guests arrive, everything is ready and invisible.
Under open skies or indoors, I set the entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit to music, as a mood rather than an official act. The drinks reception gets quiet lounge sounds, and with a battery, that works even without mains power.
Whether it is dinner music during the meal, a wireless microphone for speeches or music for games and surprises, I make sure nothing seems improvised. The bouquet toss gets its own soundtrack too.
You open the dancing to an edit to your taste, and then it is up to me to read the dance floor. I adapt the set live so that all generations stay with it until the last song.

+49 176 700 580 27A compact battery setup accompanies you from spot to spot; it runs without a power connection and doesn't visually disturb the scenery. The ceremony speaker gets a wireless microphone so that even the back rows understand him, wherever you position yourselves. Where each programme item takes place, I go through with you beforehand, so I can distribute my setup across your stations.
For speakers I rely on makers such as RCF or Electro-Voice and set them according to room and guest count. For 140 people my larger own equipment is used, which supports up to 150 guests, and lighting is part of my standard equipment. Even more guests mean reinforcement from technicians in my network, whom I bring in for you.
A wedding unites grandma and cousins, so with me schlager and eighties classics stand on equal footing next to house, pop and current hits. On your dance floor I see which age group is dancing at the moment, and I set the order so that each generation finds itself in turn. You enter your special songs for grandma in the wedding portal in advance, and then they are firmly anchored in the schedule.
A wireless microphone for your speeches is part of my equipment; it is one of two wireless microphones I bring. Whoever prefers to speak themselves gets it handed to them by me, even in the middle of the programme. How much announcing you want otherwise, we discuss in the preliminary talk, from the bridal waltz to the opening of the dance floor.
A Saturday between May and September is among the dates for which I recommend 12 to 18 months' lead time, and an autumn inquiry often isn't enough for that. If you've booked a popular venue, it's best to contact me even before approaching the other service providers. Send me your date, and I'll check it and give you an honest answer within a day.
