If you're celebrating in Chiemgau, you don't get an off-the-peg playlist from me, but a set that grows with your guests over the evening. Beforehand we talk about your favourite tracks, the no-gos and the running order of the day. Behind the decks I then decide song by song what suits the mood in the room.
What makes an evening unforgettable is rarely easy to explain. It's the moments in between - the ones you feel before you understand them.

About me
Hi there, this is me Micha.
I've been behind the decks for over twenty years, first in clubs from 1998, then at private and corporate celebrations since 2004, more than 1450 events so far, including over 650 weddings. Along the way I've learned that every celebration has its own rhythm. In Chiemgau, where distances can be long and Bavaria's largest lake lies, good preparation therefore matters: we talk beforehand by phone or video call, I listen and don't reel off a standard programme.
I reply to your enquiry within 24 hours, and after that you have just one contact person, namely me. If something comes up, I know colleagues who will take over the evening at the same level. I stay in the background myself, and I use my own edits where transitions need some momentum.

In Chiemgau, I don't run weddings, birthdays and corporate events from a fixed template, but according to the people who come and the programme of the evening.
Advice, tech, set-up and support during the evening come from a single source, without you having to coordinate several service providers. A photo station, audio guest book, uplights or live music can be added to the music, and I take care of coordination with everyone involved.
👵Can we hope for an evening that works for everyone with a mixed crowd including children and grandparents?
Yes, mixed groups are exactly my everyday work, and I build the set from tracks across several decades. That way the older guests know the songs at the start, while the younger ones hit the dance floor later with current songs.
🎧How can we get a feel for your style beforehand if we don't know you yet?
On my site you'll find mixes from real celebrations that I recorded live, plus setlists with the tracks. In the video call that follows, we then discuss together what of it would suit your party.
🧰When do you set up if we're only allowed into the hall shortly before the start?
For the set-up I plan about two hours before the start and coordinate with the venue beforehand. If the room can only be entered later, we'll talk it through in advance so that nothing goes wrong on the evening.
🏘️Can I enquire about my celebration in Chiemgau even if our village doesn't have its own page?
Yes, every place in the two districts in the list below is part of my service area, even without its own page. Look up your municipality and send me the contact form, and we'll sort out the rest in conversation.

Two places already have their own pages, split by wedding, birthday and corporate event, and you can reach them via the cards further down. For all other municipalities, the list and the form at the bottom of the page are enough.

The Chiemgau stretches from the edge of the Alps to the hilly foothills, and its area lies in two districts.
Because not every municipality in these districts belongs to it in the narrower sense, I list both in full below, each with its official list of municipalities.
In total there are 81 municipalities, and from any of them you can enquire about me for a wedding, birthday or corporate event.
Rosenheim district comprises 46 municipalities and completely surrounds the independent city, which has its own pages for all three occasions. If you are celebrating elsewhere, look for your place in the list and send me an enquiry via the form.
Traunstein district has 35 municipalities, and I am just as bookable there as in a place with its own page. You will find your municipality in the list below, and the enquiry goes through the form at the end.
If you mainly want to hear après-ski, Ballermann and party hits, you should look for another DJ, and I say that honestly up front. A single track from that world will still find its place in the set at the right moment. What you book me for is mixing live behind the decks, with smooth transitions and an ear for the mood.
Techno sets with no connection to the audience and lists that run rigidly from top to bottom are not my thing either. If that does not suit your party, that is perfectly fine, and if it does, I would be happy to hear from you.
