As wedding DJ Michael Zimmermann, I look forward to your celebration at Lake Garda. Since 2004 weddings have been part of my everyday life, and by now it is over 1,450 events and around 650 weddings. I hold back discreetly, because your celebration is the focus and not the DJ.

Wedding venues at Lake Garda
Anyone celebrating in the lake region often chooses between a villa, a hotel and a historic building, and I tune the setup and sound to the venue you choose. I show you seven venues here, from the historic building at the old harbour in Lazise to the resort in San Felice del Benaco, and I coordinate equipment and schedule with you for each of them.
Anyone marrying at Lake Garda celebrates on a lake at the edge of the Alps with Monte Baldo in the background, and I take this setting into account in the music selection for you. You can choose from a building at the old harbour of Lazise, a venue right on the lakeshore in Gardone Riviera, and boutique hotels with panoramic gardens.
For up to 350 guests in a hall I gear up differently than for a boutique hotel with a panoramic garden; the deciding factors are the room and the guest count. If you have a theme for the evening, you tell me in advance which tracks belong to it and which you do not want to hear anywhere. Two hours before your guests arrive I am ready at the booth, because by then the system and lighting are set up and the sound is checked.
In Lazise the Dogana Veneta stands at the old harbour and lists weddings, meetings, gala dinners and company events as occasions. For gala dinners, according to the operator, a hall holds up to 350 people. For such a large hall I plan the system and lighting with you early on.
The Torre San Marco in Gardone Riviera lists weddings, company events and ceremonies as occasions. According to the operator, the venue lies right on the lakeshore and accommodates up to 1,500 people. I choose the scope of my equipment according to your guest count and whether you celebrate indoors or outdoors.
At the Villa Bettoni in Bogliaco di Gargnano, weddings, ceremonies, private celebrations, company events and meetings are on the list of occasions. According to the operator, it is an elegant residence with an Italian garden. Whether the garden or the house becomes your stage also helps decide where I set up my booth.
The Villa Sostaga in Navazzo di Gargnano lists weddings with a maximum of 80 people as well as gala dinners and private parties among its occasions. According to the operator, it is a boutique hotel with a panoramic garden and restaurant. For a group of this size I deliberately set up my system slim.
The Splendido Bay Luxury Spa Resort in Padenghe sul Garda counts birthdays, weddings, company events, christenings and parties among its occasions, and there are also meeting rooms. The website gives no guest count, so we clarify the room and the size of your group directly with the venue before I settle on my equipment.
Weddings and company events are the occasions at the Villa Cariola in Caprino Veronese. According to the operator, smaller private celebrations are possible there as well as large receptions for over 250 people, and the boutique hotel is a Venetian villa. Depending on the size of your group my setup will be larger or smaller, and we agree on that in advance.
The Villa Luisa Resort in San Felice del Benaco lists weddings and business events as occasions. According to the operator, the Acquadolce restaurant holds up to 100 people. For this size my standard package fits, and we discuss the details of the layout with you.

I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.
Who I am
Your celebration at Lake Garda will be a special date for me. Sirmione bears the nickname Peninsula of the Poets, fitting for a day on which you say "I do". My story begins in 1998 in the club. Since 2004 I have stood behind the decks at private and corporate celebrations, over 650 weddings, more than 1,450 events in total.
I stay in the background, the music speaks, and your guests should celebrate together with you, each in their own way. My edits create transitions that suit your guests, and if you tell me beforehand what must absolutely not be played, I stick to it.

Request a dateA lakeside wedding dream starts with me with a short message from you. I get back to you the same or the next day, we chat without obligation by video about the date and place, and then I write your quote.
After you confirm, you get access to a personal web app, the wedding portal, which brings together requested songs, no-gos, the schedule and special moments. A week before the big day we speak by phone and check everything together.
Whether by the lakeside or in a hall, I am on site at least two hours before the start. I set up the system, test the sound and sort everything out with the celebrant or photographer, and by the time the guests arrive, everything runs invisibly.
Entrance, exchange of rings, exit: I give every moment its own mood. For the drinks reception under open skies, I use battery-powered equipment to provide quiet lounge sounds, so conversation stays in the foreground.
The meal gets a gentle soundtrack, the speeches a wireless microphone, and every other part of the programme, from games to the bouquet toss, its own musical setting. Surprises are not forgotten, of course.
Once the opening dance and the edit of your choice have faded out, the part I love most begins: reading the dance floor and reshaping the set live. That way, every generation dances until the very last song.

I bring all the equipment myself, whether the celebration takes place in a villa, a hotel or a large hall.

My selection ranges from classics of the seventies to today's charts and is guided by your guests; I do not collect slips with spontaneous requests.
Two hours before the start I set up calmly, check the sound, and take my equipment away again myself after the celebration.

For the entrance, ring exchange and exit of your ceremony the music plays from my system, as a battery powers it without any cable.
If you want a photo station, live musicians, uplights or an audio guest book all at once, I handle all the arrangements for them.

+49 176 700 580 27Then I use my system's battery, which lasts through the whole reception without a power cable. I clarify with the venue beforehand whether and where I may set up outdoors, which costs you no work. When moving indoors I make sure the music keeps going without a pause.
Gladly, because I underscore the entrance, ring exchange and exit with your music of choice, and I need no power socket for that. Which pieces we use, we discuss in advance together with you. Whether the chosen venue offers a ceremony, you will find out from the operator directly.
Over the course of the evening I notice who is already dancing and who is still sitting over dessert, and I tailor my track selection to both groups. Thanks to my edits, evergreens and current songs flow into each other without anyone hearing a seam. Beforehand, you tell me your favourite tracks and your no-gos.
A single soloist is all you need, whether on saxophone, violin, microphone or percussion. I bring them in from my network, and they play live over my mix. This works best at your reception, during the entrance or for the first dance. We will talk about when the artist comes in during our first conversation with you.
With 40 people I manage well with my standard package, which is designed for around 100 guests. How extensive my setup gets depends solely on the room and the number of guests, not on the occasion. An ordinary power socket at the booth is all I need.
I often book high-summer Saturdays more than a year ahead, so it is better to write to me early. If you are not celebrating on a high-summer Saturday but on a weekday or outside the season, three to six months is usually enough with me. I also answer short-notice enquiries honestly, and you will hear from me directly whether your date is still free.

Live music for the reception or dinner, and then a full DJ night anyway? Through my network I can arrange a well-rehearsed band, from a duo to a quartet, with vocals, guitar, piano, percussion or saxophone. Because everything is planned by one person, there is one point of contact, one sound concept and no gap between band and DJ.

Service area
I also play weddings in Innsbruck, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Kempten, and I always bring all my own equipment. If your venue is somewhere other than Lake Garda, you will find the right page below.
First, you send me a short message with the date and venue you have in mind and how many guests are coming. After that I arrange a video call with you, in which I go through the music, the schedule and your wishes, and shortly before the celebration we go over everything with you once more.
