Wedding venues in Leverkusen

Weddings in Leverkusen.

The first thing I ask is whether you are celebrating in a Rococo hall, in a villa on the Dhünn, or in a large venue like the Forum, because my setup depends on it. Five venues show you how different a wedding in Leverkusen can be: a Rococo palace with a park, a villa on the Dhünn, a cultural center in Wiesdorf, a state garden show park on the Rhine, and a stadium with a hotel.

From the rococo hall to the park on the Rhine: weddings in Leverkusen

Whether it is a palace with a park, a villa in the countryside, or a cultural center on the edge of the city center: Leverkusen offers very different spaces for your wedding day. Only once you have decided do I determine where the speakers go and how the light falls.

Between stucco and mirrors the sound is different from a tent by the river, and my lighting follows the room. After about 40 minutes the equipment is set up, and before your guests arrive I try out how the hall sounds.

Schloss Morsbroich

Gustav-Heinemann-Straße 80, Alkenrath

The rococo palace was completed in 1775 and houses the Museum Morsbroich, surrounded by an English landscape park. Whether and in which rooms celebrations are allowed, you clarify with the museum, and afterwards we discuss setup and power.

Villa Wuppermann

Schlebusch, on the Dhünn

The villa, built around 1855, is now a community centre and lists events, conferences, seminars and weddings. Its garden is an English landscape park with winding paths. Which rooms and how many guests the house provides for your celebration, you can find out from the operator.

Forum Leverkusen

Wiesdorf, Leverkusen

The building from 1969 has a theatre hall with 962 seats, the Terrassensaal for 3,500 people and the hexagonal Agam hall for 800. Which hall is an option for a celebration, you ask the venue, and we plan the sound afterwards.

Neuland-Park

Wiesdorf, on the Rhine

The park was created for the 2005 state garden show on around 20 hectares, with themed gardens, several restaurants and cafés and the SparkassenArena for 1,200 guests. For an outdoor celebration we talk early about weather and power source.

BayArena and Lindner Hotel

Bismarckstraße 122 to 124, Küppersteg

The stadium includes conference rooms and a hotel with 200 beds behind the north stand. Whether the venue hosts weddings and which rooms are available for them, you find out directly there; I tailor my sound system to the room.

I looked up rooms, capacities and uses on Wikipedia and on the websites of the operators mentioned (as of October 2026). Whether your date is free and how many guests fit in the venue can only be answered by the venue itself.

Humanist ceremony in Leverkusen

I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.

Who I am

Servus, that's me, Micha.

At your wedding in Leverkusen, football fans, colleagues from labs and offices, and relatives from the Bergisches Land will probably come together. So that they all end up on the dance floor together after the meal, I build the transitions between the songs myself. I cut soul, disco and pop into my own edits so the beat never breaks.

You tell me what matters to you in a video call, and then we go through the evening together. Your evening is like a football season: the lineup is set beforehand, but the game is still won on the day.

How it works

From the enquiry to the last hour of your wedding in Leverkusen.

Send me the date and venue, and I will get back to you within 24 hours at the latest. Then come the video call, coordination with the venue and planning of the setup.

Request a date
  1. Enquiry & first chat

You give me the date and venue, and I reply the same day, within 24 hours at the latest. The video call commits you to nothing: we get to know each other, collect ideas, and afterwards you receive your quote.

  2. Booking & portal access

Once you book, your wedding portal opens, a web app for favourite songs, no-gos, special moments and the schedule. About a week beforehand we talk by phone and go through the day step by step.

  3. Set-up & sound check

On the wedding day I arrive in good time, set up in around 40 minutes, listen to the sound in the empty room and coordinate with the speaker, photographer and catering staff.

  4. Ceremony & reception

For the entrance, ring exchange and exit, the pieces you chose play. At the reception there is subtle lounge music, and if there is no socket within reach outdoors, the battery takes over.

  5. Dinner & programme items

During the meal the music stays quiet. Speeches go through the wireless microphone, and for games, surprises and the bouquet toss I find the right track each time.

  6. Opening dance & party

Your requested edit opens the dancing, then I watch the floor and keep adjusting the set until young and old celebrate the last track together.

Everything behind
the mix

At a wedding three generations often dance together, which is why soul classics sit alongside current chart hits. From the first consultation to the last song, the music is in one pair of hands.

Which track comes next sets the mood in the room, the microphone belongs to your speakers, and I stay out of the spotlight myself.

Music genres

I blend disco, soul, pop and current chart hits the way your guests respond in the moment, not from a fixed list.

Set-up and tear-down without any effort from you

Setup and soundcheck take a good 40 minutes, the system needs only 2.5 by 1.5 metres of space, and after the last track I pack everything away myself. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or lifts) setup takes around 40 minutes.

Symbolic wedding ceremony

For the entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit, the music runs on a battery-powered system, so no power outlet needs to be nearby.

Optional: extras

Photo booth, live music, uplights and audio guestbook can be added, and I handle the coordination.

Frequently asked questions

What couples in Leverkusen want to know.

These are the questions couples ask me most often, and if yours is missing, just give me a call.

Our guests include season ticket holders sitting next to people who have never been to the stadium: will everyone find their songs?

Yes, I start with songs that everyone knows at any age and then gradually widen the evening. If you like to sing along, you get hits from several decades, and if you would rather dance, you get the right beats.

Our hall in Leverkusen has high ceilings and a lot of mirrored surface: won't the music get muddy there?

With the right setup I can make even echoey rooms sound good. I place the speakers so that speeches stay easy to understand, and I keep the volume under control until the dancing starts.

We want to hold the reception in the park, but if it rains we'll have to move: how do we plan for that?

We decide in advance at what point in the weather you move indoors. For outside I bring a battery-powered system, while the dance evening indoors needs a power outlet.

Do we need a host, or do you take care of the announcements in the evening?

If you like, I handle the welcome, the programme items and the announcements. If you would rather have a friend on the microphone, I provide two wireless microphones and stay in the background.

We are getting married on a Saturday in June: is three months' notice still enough?

June Saturdays go quickly with me, so I can only tell you for your date whether three months is enough. Let me know which day you want to celebrate; I'll check whether it is free and get back to you promptly.

The grandparents go home early: when should we schedule the first dance?

I like to place it at the end of the meal, while your guests are still at the table. We will enter the exact time into your schedule together, so that the older guests can enjoy the moment too.

Even more options

DJ+ – live musicians right inside my mix.

If you want live music at the reception or ceremony, I can arrange saxophone, vocals, percussion or violin. We settle the right timing long before the celebration.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Sparkling wine reception · First dance

DJ + saxophone

A saxophone sounds soft and warm on a terrace in the evening, especially when conversations grow quieter with the dusk.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

Percussion drives the beat after dessert, and the dance floor fills almost without being asked.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Entrance · special moments

DJ + vocals

Live vocals give the celebration a concert sparkle, and once the party gets going the microphone can be passed to the guests as well.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Ceremony · bride's entrance

DJ + violin

A violin accompanies your entrance and turns the dinner into a festive opening that your guests will not forget.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

Live music for the reception or dinner, and then a full DJ night anyway? Through my network I can arrange a well-rehearsed band, from a duo to a quartet, with vocals, guitar, piano, percussion or saxophone. Because everything is planned by one person, there is one point of contact, one sound concept and no gap between band and DJ.

Who i'm not the right DJ for

    Non-stop Ballermann, après-ski and schlager?
I'll gladly slip in the right hit when it suits the mood.
A whole evening in that vein, though, is not my style.

Some DJs have specialised in exactly that.
You'll be in good hands with them.
    That's perfectly legitimate.
    I just work differently.

I specialise in live mixing at demanding events.
For anyone who knows that DJing is a craft.
    Precise transitions.
The right song at the right moment.
More than playing a ready-made playlist.

If that doesn't suit you, I'm not the right DJ, and that's fine.
If it does, then very gladly.
