Neustrelitz is my home. The venues below are places in the town and in the Lakeland where you can celebrate, and we will talk in the video call about which one suits you.
Hall, lakeshore or mill: wedding in Neustrelitz
I align the booth and speakers to your room, differently in a hotel ballroom than on the lakeshore or in the mill. Whichever venue you choose, I coordinate with the venue and your other vendors myself beforehand.
If you wish, my LED uplights change color over the course of the evening and adapt to the music.

Karbe-Wagner-Straße 59, NeustrelitzHotel in a park with its own pond and a wedding suite. For a celebration in the countryside I plan with you how the reception and the dance floor flow into each other musically.

Am Schulzensee 8, Feldberger Seenlandschaft OT WaldseeThe listed hunting lodge from around 1900 sits by the lake and has a spa area. A historic hall calls for a refined sound, which I agree with you in advance.

Seestraße 11, Klein NemerowThe hotel stands on the steep bank of Lake Tollense, with a conservatory, a boat jetty and carriage rides. When the celebration starts outside, the music carries the move indoors.
Bolter Mühle
Boeker Mühle 1, Rechlin OT BoekThe former water mill, founded around 1670, has a red brick main building, a reconstructed water wheel and an event area with a campfire spot on the Bolter Kanal. For outdoor celebrations I bring my battery-powered setup.
Hotel & Restaurant Zum Löwen
Schleusengasse 11, StrasenThe family-run venue on the Havel canal next to the lock was a water mill in the 17th century and has a terrace with a view of the water. For a reception and music outdoors it is a lovely backdrop.
Schloss Mirow
Schlossinsel 1, MirowThe state palace sits on an island in Lake Mirow. With water all around, I agree with you where the sound system goes and how the music fits the scenery.
Hotel Bornmühle
Bornmühle 35, Groß NemerowThe four-star spa hotel on Lake Tollense has large event spaces for galas and celebrations. For rooms of this size I coordinate equipment and lighting with the venue in advance.

Music for the symbolic wedding ceremony
I accompany your symbolic wedding ceremony with music, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a system that runs without a power connection, in the hall as on the shore, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.
Because the ceremony and the sparkling wine reception often take place in the same spot, I plan both together: entrance, ring exchange and exit with your songs, then the switch to the reception without the music breaking off.

Who I am
Servus, that's me, Micha.
Neustrelitz is my home, and this is where I started: from 1998 to 2001 the club Gummibärchen was my regular club, and there I learned when a dance floor tips and when it fills up. The people I had played for night after night eventually reached marrying age, and I got to be there for them musically on their most beautiful day. Since 2004 that has grown into more than 650 weddings, out of over 1,450 events in total.
I stay in the background and let the music speak. My own edits connect tracks that would never otherwise play side by side, so the couple, family and friends can celebrate together, in Neustrelitz just as on the Müritz or anywhere else in the Lakeland. What should play at your wedding and what should not, we discuss beforehand in the initial consultation.
My own edits make that possible, creating transitions that are on no record. I also pass on my knowledge, because I occasionally give workshops on it for the DJ Allianz e.V. What should play at your wedding and what absolutely should not, we clarify calmly beforehand, so on the day itself all you have to do is celebrate.

You will get a reply from me the day after your enquiry arrives. In the video call with no sales pressure we get to know each other, discuss the venue, date and first ideas, and afterwards you will receive a concrete quote.
Booking & portal access
After booking, your personal portal is waiting for you, a web app for music requests, no-gos, the running order and special moments. A week before the date I call and we check every detail.
Set-up & sound check
I allow at least two hours for set-up and soundcheck so that the equipment sits perfectly by the water or in the hall. I coordinate with the celebrant and photographer beforehand, and when the guests arrive everything stays out of sight.
Ceremony & reception
Subtle lounge music turns the drinks reception into relaxed chatting, and before that I provide the atmosphere for the entrance, ring exchange and exit. Even outdoors without a power connection it works, because the system runs on battery.
Dinner & programme items
So that the evening flows without breaks, every item on the programme gets music that suits it: a calm mood during the meal, a wireless microphone for speeches and fitting sounds for games, surprises and the bouquet toss.
Opening dance & party
Only once your edit for the opening dance has faded do I open the dance floor to all guests. Then I see what is working, vary the set live and make sure young and old celebrate together right up to the final number.

Yes, Neustrelitz and the Mecklenburg Lakeland are part of my service area, from the palace and lakeside hotels to the mill. Tell me the place and the room, and I will clarify power, setup time and equipment with the venue in advance.
How does the initial consultation work, and who decides on the music requests?
In the video call you tell me about the venue, the schedule and your favorite songs, and in my wedding portal you record music requests and no-gos. From that I plan your evening and coordinate with the venue.
Does the music still play at a symbolic wedding ceremony by the lake without mains power?
Yes, my battery-powered setup plays the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit entirely without a power connection. Please tell me when you book, so I can plan for your spot on the shore.
Will the music work if grandparents want to hear German pop hits and friends want house?
My range goes from Motown through the charts to current house, and we decide beforehand which decades get played how often. On the dance floor I react live and blend the styles with my own edits.
What happens if the equipment fails in the middle of the wedding?
A second sound system, a second laptop and a second controller come along to every wedding. A total loss of music is practically ruled out.
How early should you book the DJ for a summer wedding in the Lakeland?
Popular Saturdays between May and September are often taken twelve to eighteen months in advance, so ask early. I get back to you within 24 hours and tell you whether your date is free.
Does the DJ also host speeches and program items?
Yes, if you like I guide you through speeches, games and surprises, and two wireless microphones are ready for that. That way a couple can also speak side by side.

Neustrelitz is my home, and from here I think of the whole Lakeland: I play weddings in Wesenberg, Mirow, Userin, Wustrow, Blankensee and Hohenzieritz just as I do celebrations in Neubrandenburg, the Feldberger Seenlandschaft and Fürstenberg/Havel.
This is how I plan with couples from the Lakeland: I reply to your inquiry within 24 hours and invite you to a no-obligation video call in which we go through the venue, the schedule and first music requests. About a week before the celebration we go over everything once more by phone, and on the wedding day I arrive at least two hours before the start, set up and test the sound.
