Celebrating in Salzgitter
I ask you about the room, guest count and mood, because a barn calls for a different set than a hotel hall or a castle house in the woods. Five addresses for your birthday in Salzgitter: the Peak Hotel below the castle, the Ratskeller in Salzgitter-Bad, the Hotel am See, the Kulturscheune in the old village and Schloss Salder.
You can celebrate your birthday in Salzgitter in a half-timbered barn, a hotel hall or a house on the edge of the forest. How I set up and which speakers I choose depends on the room, acoustics and number of guests.
At your party, shift colleagues may sit next to aunts from the village, and their taste in music can be far apart. Anyone who wants to withdraw should still hear the music without being overwhelmed by it.
The hotel in the Lichtenberg forest lists birthdays, confirmations, communions and anniversaries as occasions; the choice is a castle house, a modern hall or the garden. If you celebrate there, we clarify beforehand which room suits your number of guests.
The house on the market square advertises weddings, birthdays and company anniversaries and describes itself as a historic building with lots of atmosphere. For a celebration within old walls, we plan the volume so that conversation remains possible.
The four-star hotel in Lebenstedt has a large hall, five forums of 70 square metres each and a bar with a small roof terrace. Depending on the number of guests, we look for the room where your group doesn't feel lost.
The city rents out the half-timbered barn in the old village for private celebrations; it holds 120 guests at tables or 365 standing and has a kitchen, stage and sound and lighting equipment. With the wood and courtyard around it, a relaxed set suits it well.
The Renaissance palace from 1608 houses the Municipal Museum; the museum festival and the cultural summer take place there every year. Whether and how private celebrations can be held there, you clarify with the city, and I then plan the music for the room.
Rooms, capacities and occasions come from the operators' and the city's websites and Wikipedia, as of October 2026. You can only find out there whether a venue is free on your date.
Who I am
You decide how your birthday in Salzgitter should sound, and I translate it into a set. My career began at a club DJ booth, later weddings, company evenings and birthdays followed, and by now it's over 1,450 celebrations. I prefer an open flow to a fixed timetable: I listen to you, take note of your guests and build the set with them.
With my own edits I connect classics and current hits, so that uncle, colleague and neighbour dance on the same floor. Tell me beforehand what matters to you and what must not be played, then you can enjoy the evening.
How it works

After booking you get my mobile number, and I am easy to reach via WhatsApp. About a week before the party we sort out requested songs, no-gos and the schedule.
Before your guests arrive, I set up the equipment, do the sound check and look at the room. I clear up open questions with you or the venue so that the evening starts calmly.
For arrival, subtle lounge music plays that gets conversations going. For the birthday guest of honour and special moments, I choose music that fits.
I give the programme items the right sound: music for the meal, a microphone for speeches and announcements, tracks for games, surprises and the cutting of the cake.
Once the dance floor is open, I take the wheel. I read the mood, change the set on the fly and keep young and old moving until the last song fades.

I arrive well before your guests, check the equipment in the room and take everything down myself after the party. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) setup takes around 40 minutes.

Transparency
A whole evening of nothing but Schlager and Ballermann, hour after hour? A few big crowd-pleasers in between, when the mood calls for it, belong to a good birthday party for me. Building a whole evening on them alone isn't my thing, though. I'm just as little the right person for non-stop techno sets without any contact with the crowd, for rigid request lists that get worked through from top to bottom, or for festival formats with several stages. There are other DJs who can do exactly that and love it, nothing against them, it's simply not my speciality.
My craft is mixing live for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
