Celebrations in Siegen
A hotel ballroom in the valley, a clubhouse on the hill or a garden in the Siegerland: every venue carries music differently, and that shapes my suggestion for your party. In Siegen you can celebrate your birthday in a country hotel, a park hotel, a congress center or a theater. Here I introduce five addresses you can inquire with.
Your birthday in Siegen can take place in a hotel ballroom, a large hall or the family home. Where you celebrate determines my setup, which is why the venue comes first in the planning; I adjust speakers and volume accordingly.
Whether it's a party basement, a garden lawn or a community hall: I arrive with a small set that also works without a nearby power outlet. We discuss beforehand where I'll stand and where the power comes from; the equipment is ready to go in a good 40 minutes.
The family-run country hotel lists three rooms on its website for private family celebrations and business events. Whether your birthday can take place there and which room suits your guest count, you ask the hotel directly; after that we discuss the tech.
The hotel on the edge of the Rothaargebirge says it supports the planning of private celebrations, including parties. It has 14 conference rooms of 24 to 400 square metres. Which of them suits you, you find out at the hotel.
The congress centre from 1961 has ten halls and lists celebrations among its occasions. Whether you can celebrate there and in which hall, you clarify with the venue.
According to the operator, the theatre in the former Apollo cinema centre is rented on request and is regarded there as a premium location for customers and employees. What it looks like for a private celebration, you ask the sponsoring association; I adapt my set to the room.
A castle has stood on the Siegberg since the Middle Ages, and today it houses the Siegerland Museum. The park has about 60,000 tulips and, in summer, concerts and theater. Whether a private party is possible, you ask the city.

You're celebrating in Siegen, and I build the music that suits your evening. I started in a nightclub, and private and corporate parties came later, until over 1450 events added up. In a city with a university and a strong club culture, a birthday often brings together fellow students, teammates and family.
I cut edits from old hits and new tracks so that everyone ends up on the same dance floor. Tell me ahead of time what you like and what's a no-go, and you can enjoy the evening yourself.
How it works
Date and place are enough for the first contact, and I reply the same or the next day. In a video call we go over your wishes, schedule and setup.

After booking, you get my mobile number, because a lot gets sorted out fastest on WhatsApp. About a week before the party, we go through requested songs, no-gos and schedule.
Before the guests arrive, I set up in about 40 minutes and do the sound check. I settle open questions with you or the venue so nothing disturbs later.
Soft lounge music plays as guests arrive and gets conversations going. For you as the birthday guest of honor and for special moments, I find the right song each time.
The program gets music too: quiet during dinner, a microphone for speeches and announcements, and fitting pieces for games, surprises and the cake.
Once people start dancing, I take over completely, watch the mood and shape the set around the guests until the last song fades.

Current hits play alongside classics from many decades, and I check your requested songs one by one beforehand.
Setup takes about 40 minutes on a space of roughly 2.5 by 1.5 meters, and after the last track I pack everything up again. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) setup takes around 40 minutes.
Photo booth, uplights and live music can be added, and I take care of the coordination.

My smallest setup fits into a corner of a room. With a photo and the room measurements, I'll tell you ahead of time whether it fits and where I would stand.
I start with songs both sides know and watch who gets up first. Then I steer in the direction that works and bring the other group along with fitting transitions.
Many Saturdays in December fill up fast, so write to me early. Usually you'll hear back from me the next day on whether your date is still free.
I use your list as a foundation and switch live depending on what's happening in the room. If two songs don't fit together, I cut the transition to size, and anything you don't want to hear, I leave out completely.

Transparency
Nothing but schlager and Ballermann for hours on end? I'm happy to let the odd crowd-pleaser run when your guests ask for it, because they belong at a good birthday party. Building my whole evening on them isn't for me, though. Nor am I a fit for techno sets that ignore the crowd, for request lists worked through rigidly, or for festivals with several stages. I leave that to colleagues who are good at it and enjoy it; I have nothing against them, it's simply not my field.
I play live, for guests with a feel for the moment: the transitions are tight, the song suits the hour, and nothing just runs on autopilot. That is why I would rather tell you in advance what I don't offer than have you annoyed on the night.
If that doesn't suit your party, I'm the wrong DJ, and that's perfectly okay. If it does, just get in touch.
