Company parties in Göttingen
City hall, conference hotel or industrial hall by the station: every venue in Göttingen calls for its own coordination of sound and setup, and we clarify that with you in advance. Six venues show how different your company evening in Göttingen can look: city hall, a former locomotive hall, a conference hotel at the station and three hotels with their own halls.
Stadthalle, former locomotive hall or hotel hall with a garden: companies and institutes in Göttingen celebrate in very different rooms, and I tailor the sound system and setup accordingly.
If there are side rooms next to the hall, you and I will discuss where the welcome and speeches take place and where dancing happens later. If you celebrate in the garden, a plan B for rain belongs early in your planning.
The Stadthalle lists a Large Hall, four conference rooms and foyer areas; as occasions it names company events and gala events. After a five-year renovation it has been open again since February 2024. For a venue with a hall and foyers, we decide where the reception takes place and where the dancing happens later.
The hall was built between 1917 and 1920 as a locomotive repair shop, the event space opened in December 1998, and today it is divided into three halls with around 9,400 square meters. In halls this large, I plan the sound in zones so that every corner is covered evenly.
The GHOTEL has seven conference rooms; Room 1 holds up to 50 people, and Rooms 1 to 3 together up to 160. If a talk is followed by an evening programme, I plan the move between the rooms musically as well.
The hotel lists corporate events as an occasion; the Weitblick is a divisible room of 35 to 160 square meters for 5 to 90 people, plus a Denkwerkstatt with its own terrace and the Emmy Noether room for up to 30. On a roof terrace with a view over the city, quiet lounge sound works well for winding down.
The Eden Hotel offers conference rooms for 2 to 120 people in 12 options and suggests celebrations for company events; with the Deutscher Garten, built in 1806, the rooms are enough for up to 135 people. If the conference and the evening party are in the same venue, I separate the phases musically.
The Gebhards has conference and event rooms for up to 120 people, and the Ständezimmer measures around 105 square meters. For an evening in a smaller circle, a discreet setup is enough here.

Who I am
Göttingen is a university town, and many companies here live from science, measurement technology and healthcare. At your party there will therefore probably be PhDs next to technicians and newcomers next to department heads, and I tailor my music to that. I learned my craft in the disco, and company and private parties only came later.
In the preliminary conversation you decide with me when there is speaking and when there is dancing, and I plan your transitions accordingly. On the day of the party my system, including wireless microphones, is ready; I check the room before your guests arrive.

It starts with your music wish list; I then clarify the details with the venue and service providers so that you do not have to run after anything. Songs and topics that do not suit your occasion, I keep out of the program on your instruction.

We clarify the program, from seventies soul to current charts, beforehand, and I mix the genres so that your staff celebrates together.
Before doors open I am ready to go, set up in peace and clear everything away myself after the last song. For that about 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup location, no stairs or elevators) the setup takes about 40 minutes.

+49 176 700 580 27In the initial conversation I ask about the age mix and the occasion, and I start with songs that almost everyone knows. I take your management's requests in advance, and the mood in the room decides the rest.
My standard system covers up to about 150 guests; for halls I add speakers and coordinate the setup with you.
You and I set the schedule in advance. For every speech I pull the music back, hand over the wireless microphone and afterwards gently lead back to the dance floor.
Allow four to eight weeks; for a Christmas party in December and for high summer, get in touch earlier. You will find out within 24 hours whether your date is free.
Yes, I can also arrange saxophone, violin, vocals, percussion, a photo station and uplights on request. I coordinate every performance with your program, and you only deal with me.
Give me the room size, access for the equipment and the contact person at the venue, and I will sort out the rest with the operator. Before your guests arrive, I am on site and check the sound in the empty room.

This is how your company party in Göttingen works: you tell me the occasion, the date and the number of participants, and in a video call we discuss music, program and room. Shortly before the date, you and I set the schedule in the briefing. On the day of the event I am at the venue before doors open, set up my system and check the sound in the empty room. For a very long guest list I bring in technology partners; for small groups my own system is enough for me.

Transparency
An evening made up only of Ballermann and schlager hits is not my programme. A few sing-along classics go down well at any company party, but for me they are an extra, nothing more. Nor do I offer techno that leaves the guests out, request lists that are worked through rigidly, or festival formats with several stages. If that's what you're looking for, you're better off with colleagues who specialise in it.
I mix live for guests who expect an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, more than pressing play. That is why I tell you in advance what I don't do, so that you aren't disappointed on the night.
If that doesn't suit your event, I'm not the right DJ, and that's perfectly fine. If it does, we'll sort out everything else together.
