In a city full of students, researchers and newcomers, your guests often come from worlds far apart. Wedding venues in Göttingen
Hall with a panoramic view, hotel garden or salon: I ask about the room, the house sound system and the outdoor area beforehand, because every venue in Göttingen needs its own arrangement. Five venues show you how different weddings in Göttingen can look: a hall with a panoramic view, a hotel with a historic garden, a venue in Grone, a hotel on Goetheallee and a venue with combinable rooms. We will settle the setup for the respective venue together.
In Göttingen you can celebrate up on the hill with a wide view or down in the garden of a hotel, with salons in the city districts in between. I only choose the system and setup once I know the place and the room.
Guest lists in a university city are colourful: native languages, generations and tastes lie far apart for you. A single music style rarely carries a whole evening there, so I mix across the decades.
According to the hotel, the Saal Weitblick offers a panoramic view over Göttingen, space for up to 100 guests and a dance floor for about 80; there are also a bar, a lounge, air conditioning and a roof terrace. In a hall that opens the view into the distance, I check beforehand how the room carries sound, and set up the system so that speeches stay intelligible.
For celebrations, the Eden Hotel lists event rooms for up to 135 people together with the Deutscher Garten, built in 1806, and mentions dance floors, buffets and set menus. Because a historic garden and a hall belong together, we decide how the outdoor reception sounds and when the party moves indoors.
The Parkhotel has 12 air-conditioned event rooms, the largest being Georgia Augusta 1 to 3 at around 420 square meters, and lists family celebrations and weddings as occasions. For a space of this size, I plan the sound for dinner and dancing separately, so every part of the evening gets its own sound.
The Gebhards has event rooms for up to 120 people, and the Ständezimmer is the largest at around 105 square meters. In a house like this, fine dosage matters more to me than sheer power, and we agree on the setup and volume with the hotel in advance.
The hotel lists seven combinable rooms for weddings with up to 90 guests; C.F. Gauß and Otto Hahn can be combined for up to 100 people with rows of seating. Because the rooms can be connected, I align the setup with the number of your guests.
The details on rooms and occasions come from the operators' websites and a wedding portal, as of October 2026. Whether your date is free and how many guests really fit, you can only find out from the venue itself.
I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.
Who I am
You are celebrating in Göttingen, and perhaps professors sit next to craftsmen and fellow students next to great-aunts. For that I listen closely in advance: who is coming, how old are the guests, what must not be played under any circumstances? I learned my craft in a nightclub, and since then it has grown into over 25 years and more than 1450 events, over 650 of them weddings.
With my own edits I connect songs from several decades so that friends from university and family dance at the same time. In the end everyone should say: that was exactly your wedding.
How it works

After booking, I unlock your wedding portal. There you enter special moments, no-gos, favourite songs and the schedule, and about a week before the celebration we go through everything by phone.
I am at the venue before your guests arrive. I set up the equipment, check the sound of the room, go over last details with the speaker and the photographer, and stay in the background for the guests.
For the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit, the music carries the mood. At the sparkling wine reception, quiet lounge music plays, and outdoors without a power outlet everything works on battery.
For the meal I provide a calm soundtrack. Speeches go through the wireless microphone, and for games, surprises and the bouquet toss I choose suitable music each time.
You open the dance with your requested edit, then the party begins. I read the floor, change the set live and keep all generations moving until the last song.

I arrive in good time before the first guests, set up calmly, test the sound and take everything down myself after the celebration. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or lifts) setup takes around 40 minutes.

For the entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit at a civil ceremony, I need no power cable, because a strong battery carries the ceremony.

+49 176 700 580 27I start with songs that everyone from students to grandmothers can sing along to, and watch how the tables react. As soon as the first people are on their feet, I follow up with tracks that suit you.
I collect requests in other languages in advance, and English classics play in between anyway. You send me the songs that mean something to individual guests, and I work them into the evening at the right moment.
In our preliminary talk, we go over when your musicians come in and what equipment they need. After that I take over seamlessly, so there is no gap between live music and the mix.
In high rooms and in front of large windows, sound often bounces back, and I can hear that in advance. Before your guests arrive, I test the sound system in the empty hall and position the speakers so that speeches stay clearly understandable.
Date and venue are all I need, then I enter the day for you, and within 24 hours you will know whether it is free. I assign summer Saturdays early, while weekdays leave me more room.
For thirty guests I set up compactly with two speakers. My standard system carries up to about 150 people, and I get by with a normal power outlet.

Through my network I can arrange a well-rehearsed band, from a duo to a quartet, with vocals, guitar, piano, percussion or saxophone. Because everything is planned by one person, there is one point of contact, one sound concept and no gap between band and DJ.

To start, you give me the date, venue and approximate number of guests. In a video call we talk about music, schedule and the moments that matter to you, and shortly before the celebration we go through everything once more.
