Company parties in Kassel
A trade-fair hall, a hotel wing and an industrial hall carry sound very differently, so I ask in advance about room size, ceiling height and house rules and plan my setup accordingly. Six venues, from the congress centre to the castle, show how different your company evening in Kassel can look.
For your corporate event, Kassel offers very different settings, from the congress centre at Holger-Börner-Platz via the hall in the city centre to the hotel at the foot of the Bergpark. Ceilings, walls and house rules differ from venue to venue, and I tailor my concept accordingly.
A wide hall needs more sound reserve than a salon, and if a house system is already there, I first check what it can do. I clarify that with you and the venue before you commit.
The venue lists congresses, conferences, galas and celebrations as well as trade fairs and exhibitions. Among its halls it lists the Blauer Saal with 449 square metres for up to 660 people and the Festsaal with 699 square metres for up to 1,847 people. The larger the hall, the sooner we should settle the sound system together.
The hall in the city centre measures 1,200 square metres and, according to the operator, suits around 400 to 1,000 guests; small groups feel lost there. Outside documenta it is available for celebrations of all kinds. In such a wide hall, I set up the sound after consulting the venue.
The hotel at the Bergpark lists conferences, meetings, events and celebrations and names 15 event rooms for up to 200 people, plus 130 rooms. For the switch from meeting room to party, we plan when the music moves from background to dancing.
The castle from 1777 in Schönfeld park lists company parties, conferences, anniversaries and receptions; rental and catering are handled by the Schützenhaus Eventgroup. How much equipment a historic room can take, I clarify with the venue before I send you my concept.
The boutique hotel next to the Brüderkirche, a Carmelite monastery in the 13th century, offers event locations of 112 and 140 square metres for 80 to 110 people. For a team of this size, I set up a suitable system and agree the schedule and equipment with the venue in advance.
The Orangerie in the Karlsaue lists corporate events alongside weddings and birthdays, with 160 square metres for up to 160 guests and a terrace as well. If you dine indoors and carry on celebrating outside, we plan the transition so that the music moves outside with you.
I took the rooms, occasions and capacity details from the operators' websites, from Grischäfer and from the Schloss Schönfeld association, as of October 2026. Whether your date is free and how many guests fit in the venue, you clarify directly with the operator.
Who I am
Kassel is an industrial city, a university city and a trade-fair location, and the teams celebrating together here are correspondingly varied: engineers from development, colleagues from production, administration and sales. Before I plan anything, I want to know who is celebrating, what is on the programme and how old your employees are on average.
Over 1450 events I have accompanied show me how a party opens up after a long working day: quiet for arriving, rising after the meal, open to requests late in the evening. During the evening I also stay available to you and your management if the schedule slips.

For the breaks between programme items, we agree suitable accompaniment in advance. From dinner to party, I keep time free so that a long speech does not slow down your evening.

Your wish list is the starting point; after that I sort out the details with the venue and the other suppliers so that you do not have to chase anything. Songs and topics that do not suit your occasion stay out of the programme.

From seventies soul to the current charts, we agree your programme in advance so that your guests hear everything they like over the course of the night.
Setup takes around 40 minutes, the equipment needs about 2.5 by 1.5 metres of space, and after the last track I take everything down myself. About 2.5 m in width and 1.5 m in depth is enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or lifts) setup takes around 40 minutes.

Whether it is a gala or an anniversary, the yardstick is the same as for any company party: the music follows your occasion, not the other way round.

+49 176 700 580 27Yes, I ask for the house rules in advance and plan setup, cable routes and volume so that your venue is happy with them. For questions about the house system, I speak directly with the venue's technical staff.
Plan with a buffer: I size the sound system generously so that even short-notice confirmations do not throw your event off beat. My own system is enough for up to about 150 guests; if it gets more, you will hear from me early, and I will bring in additional technology partners.
Tell me the speakers and the time in our preliminary talk, and I will bring the music down in time and pass on the wireless microphone. Afterwards I raise the tempo step by step, so that your guests hardly notice when the party begins.
In high halls I aim the speakers so that as little sound as possible hits the walls, and I keep the volume and bass down at first until your guests have spread out across the room. On a sketch I show you in advance what I set up where.
Four to eight weeks are enough for most dates. If a major event is coming up or the season is packed, allow more time. I get back to you as early as the next day, and once we have spoken, you will receive a binding quote.
Yes, I can arrange that. I can arrange saxophone, vocals, violin or percussion from my circle for you, and the accompaniment plays along to the tracks I put on. Whether the performance accompanies the reception or opens the dancing, we decide in conversation.

Transparency
A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.
My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
