Over 1450 events in more than 25 years have shown me what a workforce of several generations likes to hear, and we clarify your ideas calmly in advance. Company parties in Mannheim
Whether cultural center, museum or hall: in a congress and culture city, venues look very different, so I first ask about your program and your room. Six venues from the cultural center to the Congress Center show how different your company evening can turn out: as a Christmas party in the cultural center, as a dinner in the atrium or as a celebration in the Barockschloss.
For your celebration, the choice ranges from the Casino at the Capitol, where according to the operator a company party of 54 people is possible, to the Musensaal in the Rosengarten with 450 banquet seats. I only bring the equipment the chosen room requires, and therefore I first ask about the occasion, format and number of guests.
In the Barockschloss and in the park, hall, terrace and open space come together for your guests, while in the Technoseum the presentation and the reception stay separate. We fix the order of dinner, speeches and celebration in the briefing, and I take care of setup and teardown myself.
The Capitol rents out its live and event house as well as the casino to companies, naming Christmas parties, staff celebrations and company events. According to the operator, the largest hall seats up to 182 people with tables, and a corporate party for 54 people is listed for the casino. I discuss early on with you how my setup fits the venue.
The Musensaal in the Rosengarten covers 1,220 square metres and, according to the operator, offers up to 450 seats with banquet seating. Its defining feature is a permanently installed organ. For a hall of this size, we plan the sound system and setup together with you and the venue.
Under corporate events, the Luisenpark lists annual general meetings, incentives, workshops, company outings, anniversary celebrations and Christmas parties. According to the operator, the Festhalle Baumhain with its orangery holds up to 900 people. Because hall, pavilion and park flow into one another, we decide in advance where the speeches and where the dancing take place.
For corporate clients, the palace administration offers meetings, incentives, congresses and events. According to the operator, the Gartensaal accommodates up to 200 people at a banquet and up to 400 at a standing reception, and considerably more in the open-air Ehrenhof. In such a vast space, I allow generously for sound and reserves.
For its auditorium, the Technoseum lists talks, performances and award ceremonies with up to 300 guests, and according to the operator the foyer has room for up to 200 people at standing tables. Between presentation and reception, I agree the transitions with you in advance.
The Kunsthalle makes its rooms available for corporate events, conferences and workshops, and names the atrium for festive dinners and the Terrasse der Freunde for receptions. Next to the exhibition spaces, my setup is deliberately understated.

Welcome, speeches, party: how your event in Mannheim unfolds determines how I structure my music. I started in a nightclub in 1998, added private and corporate celebrations in 2004, and by now I have played over 1450 events. In a preliminary call by phone or video, we agree with you when there will be talking and when there will be dancing.
I stay in the background, and with my own edits the phases of your evening flow into one another. On the day of the event, I set up the equipment and wireless microphones myself and do the soundcheck. You tell me what your guests should hear, and I make it happen.

01For up to about 500 guests, I tailor the music to your company, and still the dance floor should be full in the end. I sense in the room which track works for which age group and keep adapting the mix instead of reeling off a list. Since 2004, I have combined company culture with party spirit, including for corporations such as Audi, BMW, Microsoft and Amazon. For the switch from dinner to party, I build in breathing room so that a long speech does not slow your evening down. For up to 150 guests, I supply all the equipment myself, and for larger occasions I work with reliable technical partners.

We start with your wish list; I take care of the arrangements with the venue and the other service providers so that you do not have to follow up. Topics and tracks that do not suit the occasion, I note down during our conversation and leave out.

From the soul of the seventies to today's charts, we clarify your music programme in advance, and I blend the styles into one evening.
I am ready about two hours before doors open, set up the system without rushing and take everything down myself after the final track. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or lifts) the setup takes around 40 minutes.

+49 176 700 580 27I only decide after looking at the data sheet and photos of the house system. If it is up to the job, I connect my laptop to it; otherwise I use my own PA. I will tell you in our preliminary talk which option I prefer for your room.
I plan the sound with headroom, so even last-minute confirmations do not throw anything off. My own PA handles up to 150 guests; if it gets larger, technical partners join in, which I will announce to you in good time.
In the briefing we set the order of dinner, speeches and acts, so that I can pick up each contribution at the right moment. Announcements from your program run through the wireless mic, and I take on no more speaking time than that. After that, I fade into the mix so that the path to the party feels natural.
In the foyer I keep the sound subtle so conversation is possible; in the hall I build it up step by step toward dancing. We define the transition, including a plan B for delayed program items, with you in advance and agree on it with the venue.
Plan for three to six months of lead time for December dates, and the same for summer parties. You will hear back from me the day after your inquiry, and after the event you receive an invoice with a payment term of 7 days.
Yes, a saxophonist, a violinist, a singer or percussion from my network fits into my mix. An appearance between two courses or at the start of the dance floor brings the most; you set the exact timing in the briefing.

If you want live music already at the reception or dinner, I'll arrange a well-rehearsed band of two to four musicians for you. After that I keep playing without a break, and because the planning is in my hands, I remain your single point of contact.

This is how we work together on your corporate event in Mannheim: first you describe the occasion, date and expected number of participants, then we talk by video call about music, schedule and room. Shortly before the event, we go through the evening with you minute by minute in a briefing. On the day itself, I am ready before doors open and check the sound in the empty hall. For a small audience my own system is enough, and for large events I bring in technical partners.

Transparency
A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.
My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
