Wedding venues in Trier

Weddings in Trier.

Before I decide on the setup and schedule, I ask about the building, the room and any outdoor space, because a vineyard, an Art Nouveau hall and a hotel terrace each call for different planning. I introduce five venues to you, from a wine village in the Ruwer Valley, a castle in Euren and an Art Nouveau villa to the brewery hotel in Olewig and the hotel opposite the Porta Nigra, and for each one I plan the evening together with you.

Vineyard slope, Art Nouveau villa or castle hall: weddings in Trier

If you are getting married in Trier, the choice between a vineyard slope in the Ruwertal, a castle on the banks of the Mosel and a villa from 1914 often comes down to taste alone. I listen to the acoustics each venue brings before I decide on setup and volume.

Sometimes there are several spots on the grounds, and then I guide the music with you from the reception through the meal to the dance floor. If guests travel from far away, tell me early whether titles from their home country should be included. I start the set-up in good time, and we agree on the time.

Pauliner Hof

Bahnhofstraße 41, Kasel im Ruwertal

The Pauliner Hof explicitly lists weddings with ceremony, reception and dinner as an occasion and describes a courtyard, the Katharinen barn, an atrium with a glass roof and an area in the middle of the vines. According to the operator, four guest rooms are included. With a venue that has so many spaces, we agree where the music should play and where it is deliberately quiet.

Schloss Monaise

Euren, Trier

The castle was built from 1779 to 1783 as a summer residence, now belongs to the city and is a restaurant where, according to Visit Mosel, celebrations take place. Whether your preferred date is possible there, you clarify directly with the venue. I then plan around how many guests are coming and whether you will also celebrate outdoors.

Hotel Villa Hügel

Bernhardstraße 14, Trier

The white Art Nouveau villa was built in 1914 for a wine merchant family, and the hotel's website lists celebrations, weddings and events. What is possible in which room, you learn from the venue. Once you have chosen the room, I think about how to place the system and cables unobtrusively in an old villa.

Blesius Garten

Olewiger Straße, Trier

According to the venue, the Blesius Garten combines a four-star hotel, a brewery restaurant and a large beer garden, along with its own brewery, Kraft Bräu. Please ask the operator whether and in what setting weddings are possible there, and afterwards I plan the indoor and outdoor areas with you.

Mercure Hotel Trier Porta Nigra

Porta-Nigra-Platz 1, Trier

The hotel is located opposite the Porta Nigra and, according to the operator, has six conference rooms, the largest measuring 155 square metres, as well as a bar and a restaurant. Whether the rooms suit your wedding celebration is for the venue to answer; for the music, we then work out where the dance floor can go.

Rooms, spaces and occasions come from the operators' websites and public sources, as of October 2026. Whether your preferred date is free and how many guests a room can hold, you can only find out directly from the respective venue.

Humanist ceremony in Trier

I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.

Who I am

Servus, that's me, Micha.

Your celebration in Trier should sound like you, and that is why I ask about your songs first. I started in a nightclub and learned there how a whole crowd comes together. Celebrations of all kinds followed, and to this day it adds up to over 1450 events and more than 650 weddings.

I do not push myself into the foreground, the music is allowed to do its work, and your day remains your own. From tracks spanning several decades I build edits that draw parents, friends and colleagues alike onto the floor. In the end, your guests should say: that was exactly your wedding.

How it works

From the enquiry to the last hour of your wedding in Trier.

A short message is enough, you hear from me within 24 hours, and after that the video call, arrangements and setup lead up to the opening dance.

Request a date
  1. Enquiry & first chat

Send me the date and venue as soon as both are fixed, and I will reply the same day or within 24 hours at the latest. The video call involves no sales pressure, just getting to know each other, ideas, and then your quote.

  2. Booking & portal access

With your booking, the wedding portal is yours. There you collect special moments, no-gos, favourite songs and the schedule in the web app; about a week before the celebration we talk by phone and go through everything.

  3. Set-up & sound check

While you are getting ready, I am already on site, at least two hours before the start. I set up, check the sound, discuss details with the speaker and the photographer, and keep the technology unobtrusive for the guests.

  4. Ceremony & reception

For the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit, I use music to set the mood. At the reception that follows, subtle lounge music plays in the background, and even without a power connection outdoors everything works on battery.

  5. Dinner & programme items

The meal gets a calm soundtrack from me. Speeches go through the wireless microphone, and games, surprises and the bouquet toss each get the fitting sound.

  6. Opening dance & party

With your chosen edit you open the dance, and then the party begins. I see what the dance floor demands, adjust the set live and keep all generations moving until the end.

Your service package

Everything behind
the mix

At my weddings, soul classics and current chart hits share the same evening, because several generations often sit at your tables. From the first contact to the last song, the music stays in one pair of hands.

Mixed live, microphone only when needed

What plays next I decide by the mood in the room; I stay in the background, and the microphone belongs to speeches and programme items.

LED uplights bathe the room in your chosen colour, and over the evening the light moves along with the music.

You collect your guests' photos without an app of their own via Feierblick, an external service that I recommend and that you book independently of me.

At the retro phone, guests record their congratulations on tape, and after the celebration I edit the recordings into a finished audio file for you.

Music genres

I blend disco classics, nineties hits and current charts, and what gets played is decided by the mood of your guests, not by a rigid list.

Set-up and tear-down without any effort from you

I arrive about two hours before the start, set everything up calmly, check the sound and take it all down myself after the party. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) the setup takes around 40 minutes.

Symbolic wedding ceremony

For the entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit of a celebrant-led ceremony, my music works without a mains cable; a powerful battery carries the entire ceremony.

Optional: extras

If you want a photo station, live music, uplights and an audio guest book together, you get everything from a single source, and I take care of the coordination.

Frequently asked questions

What couples in Trier want to know.

These are the questions couples ask me most often, and if yours is missing, just give me a call.

+49 176 700 580 27
Can our sparkling wine reception take place among the vines, even though there is no power anywhere nearby?

Yes, because my speakers run on a battery, so there is no cable to the house. I will check with the venue operator beforehand whether you are allowed to set up equipment outdoors.

We dream of a ceremony under the trees in Trier: Will you take care of the music for it?

Whether in the courtyard or on the vineyard slope: I take care of the music for the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit, and you choose the songs with me in our preliminary talk. Because I do not need a mains connection, the location does not matter; whether a ceremony is allowed there is something you clarify with the operator.

Does your music work for fellow students as well as for the grandparents at the table?

With one look around the room I can see which tables are not dancing yet, and I pick the track that brings movement exactly there. I combine soul, disco, chart hits and Schlager in my edits so the generations get up one after another. Songs that should not be played, you note down for me beforehand.

Can we add a musician to the ceremony without hiring a whole band?

That works: from my network I can provide you with vocals, saxophone, violin or percussion who play along to my set. In which phase the performance works best, I will discuss with you in the video call.

Is a DJ worth it for a small wedding with only thirty people?

I will still come and set up a small system for you. My standard package covers celebrations of up to about 150 people, and I only need power at a single spot.

How early should we get in touch if we are getting married in late summer?

Get in touch as soon as you know the date, because Saturdays in late summer in particular are booked early. About six months of lead time is comfortable; whether the day is open with me, you will find out within a day.

Even more options

DJ+ – live musicians right inside my mix.

If you would like live music for the champagne reception or the ceremony, I can arrange saxophone, vocals, percussion or violin for you. We will discuss in good time when the performance works best.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Sparkling wine reception · First dance

DJ + saxophone

A saxophone at the aperitif in the courtyard gives the reception a soft, elegant start, especially as the evening turns to dusk.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

After dessert, percussion gives the beat more punch, and the dance floor fills almost by itself.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Entrance · special moments

DJ + vocals

With live vocals your wedding gets the glamour of a concert evening, and in the party phase your guests sing along at the microphone.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Ceremony · bride's entrance

DJ + violin

A violin accompanies your entrance with a solemn sound and gives the meal the feel of a gala evening.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

Live music for the reception or dinner, and then a full DJ night anyway? Through my network I can arrange a well-rehearsed band, from a duo to a quartet, with vocals, guitar, piano, percussion or saxophone. Because everything is planned by one person, there is one point of contact, one sound concept and no gap between band and DJ.

Who i'm not the right DJ for

    Ballermann, après-ski, schlager hits?
A few songs here and there if it suits the mood – no problem.
But build a whole evening on them? That's not my thing.

There are DJs who can and want to do that.
    There are specialists for it.
    Nothing against them.
But it's not what I do.

I'm a specialist in live mixing at demanding events.
For people who understand that music is a craft.
    Precise transitions.
The right track at the right moment.
    Not just pressing play.

If that doesn't suit you – then I'm not the right person. And that's okay.
If it does – I'd love to.
