Celebrating in Bonn
Beer garden by the Rhine, vaulted cellar in a brewery pub or salon with a view of the park: every venue handles music differently, and I shape my suggestion for your party accordingly. Your birthday in Bonn can take place wherever you feel comfortable: in a brewery pub, in the salon of a historic house or outdoors by the Rhine. You can see five addresses and what they offer here.
In Bonn people celebrate, for example, in a brewery pub, in the salon of a historic house or in a beer garden on the Rhine, and speakers and volume depend on that venue. First tell me your venue, then I put the set together.
In a flat or a garden, a handy set is enough, which can run without a power socket if need be. I ask about your available space and the power source, then I set up in around 40 minutes.
The operator offers catering and events for company parties, weddings, birthdays and galas, individually planned. Which room is suitable for your group and how many guests fit in, you ask the venue directly, and afterwards we discuss the technology.
The bastion dating from around 1644 looks out over the Rhine as far as the Siebengebirge, and the beer gardens Alter Zoll and Zum Rheinblick are nearby. Outdoors, the weather and the power supply decide, and we sort that out before you commit.
The landscape park of around 160 hectares was created for the 1979 Federal Garden Show and has, among other things, a Japanese garden and an open-air stage. Concerts at the beer garden are mentioned. For a party in the park, we check with the landlord what is allowed and where the power comes from.
The Redüttchen is a restaurant for private parties in the ensemble of the neoclassical Redoute, built between 1790 and 1792. The Redoute operators explicitly list birthdays among their occasions. What the venue offers for your number of guests is something you clear with them; I then plan my setup accordingly.
The hotel on the Rhine mentions a terrace and a catering log cabin, plus eight event rooms. Whether you can get any of it for your party, and which part, you ask the hotel; I adapt my set to the room.
I looked up the rooms, venues and occasions on Wikipedia and on the websites of the operators mentioned (as of October 2026). Whether your date is free and how many guests fit in is something only the venue itself can tell you.
Who I am
You are celebrating in Bonn, and I choose the music that suits it. With me it started in the nightclub, later private and corporate parties came along, until there were over 1450 events. A birthday works without a rigid schedule when I keep an eye on the crowd.
I cut my own edits from classics and new tracks, so that your friends from university and the relatives from the surrounding area can dance together. Tell me your wishes and no-gos beforehand, and you can enjoy the evening yourself. If you like, I will show you in advance how I build the evening in phases.

Send me the date and venue, and I will get back to you the same or the next day. Then come the video call, arrangements and setup.

When you book, you get my mobile number, because WhatsApp is the quickest way to sort most things out. A week before the party we go through requests, no-gos and the schedule.
Before your guests arrive, I set up the equipment in about 40 minutes and do the soundcheck. We clear up any open questions with you or the venue, so that everything runs smoothly later on.
Calm lounge music accompanies the arrival, so your guests easily start talking. For you as the birthday guest of honor and for special moments, I choose the fitting track.
The program gets its music too: quiet during dinner, with a microphone for speeches and announcements, and fitting tracks for games, surprises and the cake cutting.
As soon as people dance, I take over completely, read the mood and adapt the set to the guests until the last song plays.

Your set is created that evening, just for you, and grows with the mood. Tracks from several decades get even those onto the dance floor who only wanted to watch at first. A living room, an attic or a backyard is enough for me, because I carry my compact setup in myself. If a slideshow is running or someone is speaking, I turn the music down straight away.

I need about 40 minutes for setup, the rig takes up roughly 2.5 by 1.5 meters, and after the party I clear up myself. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth is enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) setup takes around 40 minutes.
You can add lighting, a photo station, live music and an audio guest book, and I handle the coordination.

+49 176 700 580 27That depends, for me, on the floor plan and the number of guests. Send me measurements and a few photos, and before you commit I will tell you whether a compact set is enough or whether it gets tight.
I bring a wireless microphone, you do not need to provide anything for it. As soon as someone speaks, I take the music away and bring it back afterwards. Whether I make announcements at all is up to you.
Yes, I divide the evening into phases: earlier on the tracks for the older guests, later more tempo. Tracks that must not be played under any circumstances, you tell me beforehand.
Round-number birthdays at the weekend get booked up quickly, so plan several months ahead. For smaller gatherings less is often enough; drop me a line and you will have an answer the same day.
Gladly: a saxophonist, a singer, a violinist or a percussionist can be booked from my network. You pick the moment for the performance; we sort out everything else in the first conversation.

Transparency
A whole evening of nothing but Schlager and Ballermann, hour after hour? A few big crowd-pleasers in between, when the mood calls for it, belong to a good birthday party for me. Building a whole evening on them alone isn't my thing, though. I'm just as little the right person for non-stop techno sets without any contact with the crowd, for rigid request lists that get worked through from top to bottom, or for festival formats with several stages. There are other DJs who can do exactly that and love it, nothing against them, it's simply not my speciality.
My craft is mixing live for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
