Corporate parties in Bonn

Corporate parties in Bonn.

Concert hall, congress centre or salon in the park: in the Federal City with its many conference venues, the rooms are very different, which is why I first ask about the programme and the room. Six addresses in the Bundesviertel, in Bad Godesberg and on the Rhine show how different your evening can turn out: as a dinner in a concert hall, as a reception in a foyer or as a party in a historic salon.

Concert hall or salon: corporate event in Bonn

For your event in Bonn, a concert hall in the federal quarter, a congress centre, a hotel on the Rhine or a neoclassical salon in Bad Godesberg all come into question. What sound the room needs depends on its size and on how many guests come; we discuss that first.

Foyer and salon call for different setups: in one we decide where guests arrive and dance, in the other how much equipment fits. We record speeches, breaks and programme points in the briefing, and I take care of set-up and dismantling myself.

Beethovenhalle

Bundesviertel, Bonn

The building from 1959 reopened on 16 December 2025 after years of renovation. It has a Great Hall with 1,980 seats, the Forum Süd with 600 seats, and lists conferences, exhibitions and parties among its occasions. With rooms this large, we talk early about sound and technical partners.

World Conference Center Bonn

Bundesviertel, Bonn

The congress centre uses the former plenary building of the Bundestag. The main hall of the 2015 extension holds 2,650 people, and the foyer measures around 2,500 square metres. Which area you can use for the reception and evening programme, we clarify with the venue.

Kameha Grand Bonn

Ramersdorf, on the right bank of the Rhine

Eight event and conference rooms in the building from 2009 hold up to 2,500 people, and there is also a terrace. The interior features neo-baroque forms by Marcel Wanders. Where you place the reception, speech and dancing, we plan as part of the schedule.

Bundeskunsthalle, Forum

Museumsmeile, Bonn

The Forum measures 970 square metres and offers 300 fixed seats, up to 500 with additional seating. The operator lists the venue for conferences, meetings and receptions. For an evening there, we check with the venue what equipment fits in.

Redoute

Kurfürstenallee 1, Bad Godesberg

The Redoute operators list corporate events and receptions, along with the Beethovensaal, Gartensaal, four salons and three terraces for 10 to 500 people. In a neoclassical building from 1790 to 1792, we discuss early on where equipment may stand.

Brauhaus Bönnsch

Sterntorbrücke 4, Bonn

The brewery pub advertises individually planned catering for corporate events and galas. Which rooms come into question for your team, you clarify with the venue, and we coordinate the music afterwards.

Rooms, occasions and size details come from Wikipedia and the websites of the operators mentioned (as of October 2026). Please discuss available dates directly with the respective venue.

Who I am

Michael Zimmermann – beats per micha.

Welcome, speeches, dancing: the schedule of your evening in Bonn determines how I build the music. I learned this in the nightclub, and it grew into over 1450 events, private as well as corporate. In Bonn, teams from public authorities, associations, international organisations and medium-sized businesses celebrate, and each of these groups has its own tone.

In the preliminary talk I set down with you when the speeches take place and when the party starts. I cut the transitions myself, so no item on the programme ends abruptly. Wireless microphones and sound system are part of my equipment, and I handle set-up and soundcheck myself. If the venue has technical staff, I coordinate directly with them.

Everything behind
the mix

At company parties several generations celebrate together, which is why soul runs alongside current chart hits in my sets. As soon as you book me, I plan the music step by step through to the last track.

The set is built live from the mood in the room. I stay in the background and use the microphone only for speeches and programme items.

One fixed contact person

I reply within 24 hours and guide the planning personally, with no waiting line.

An evening that is planned beforehand

Your music wish list is the starting point, I take care of the arrangements with the venue and service providers, and I consistently drop tracks that don't suit the occasion once you tell me.

Turntable and mixing desk in warm light Open Format

Music genres

Your program ranges from seventies soul to the current charts, we agree on it in advance, and I blend the styles together.

Set-up and tear-down without any effort from you

Setup takes about 40 minutes and needs roughly 2.5 by 1.5 meters of space, and after the last track I pack everything up again. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth is enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) setup takes around 40 minutes.

Gala ballroom with stage, set tables and DJ booth (AI-generated) Premium

Gala & Awards

I treat a gala or a company anniversary with the same commitment as any other celebration, from the first guest to the farewell.

Optional: extras

If you'd like live music, a photo station or uplights added, I plan that in one go.

Good questions

What organisers in Bonn want to know.

These are the questions organisers ask me most often, and if yours isn't there, just get in touch with me directly.

Our international conference in Bonn, with guests from all over the world, is to include an evening with music: how do you approach that?

To start, I choose tracks that are known on every continent, and then open up the evening step by step. We go through your guests, their backgrounds and the language of the announcements beforehand.

Our management will give a longer speech followed by a standing reception: how do you fit music in?

I use the short phases between arrival, dinner and speech, where there would otherwise be silence. I only take the microphone on your cue; when the speech ends, I let the mix grow slowly until people start celebrating all by themselves.

Should we use the hall's loudspeaker system, or do you bring your own speakers?

I decide that based on the data sheet and photos of the system. If it is good enough, I connect my console to it; otherwise I set up my own. So you will know after our first conversation.

We expect far more guests at our reception than we first thought: is your equipment sufficient?

I cover up to 150 guests with my standard system without additional equipment. If it gets significantly fuller, I bring in a technical partner early, so that the speakers stay up to the hall.

For our summer party: how long beforehand should we enquire with you?

Four to eight weeks of lead time is usually enough; before Christmas and for large events, please allow more time. You get a reply from me the next day; the invoice follows after the event with a payment term of seven days.

Can we add a violinist or a singer for our anniversary evening?

That works: a performance with violin, voice, saxophone or percussion complements my set live. It is most effective between speeches and dancing, and we fix the exact point with you in the briefing.

What sets me apart

DJ+ – my extra for special evenings.

For vocals, violin, saxophone or percussion at your party, I arrange musicians from my network. We decide beforehand at what point in the evening the performance works best.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Main-time peak · gala champagne reception

DJ + saxophone

For the reception in the foyer or on the terrace, a saxophone sounds relaxed and stylish, especially as the evening moves into the night.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Summer party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

In a big hall with lots of space, percussion gives the mix punch without needing a full band and all its equipment.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Live-band feeling · party time & special moments

DJ + vocals

If you want to combine a congress atmosphere with party spirit, book a voice that sings hits live and gets the staff singing along.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Galas & awards · music from the first note

DJ + violin

A violin gives the reception at a gala dignity, because its sound puts the guests in a festive mood right from the welcome.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

If you want live music already at the reception or dinner, I'll arrange a well-rehearsed band of two to four musicians for you. After that I keep playing without a break, and because the planning is in my hands, I remain your single point of contact.

I am also at the decks for your company events in Sankt Augustin, Troisdorf and Köln, and you will find further locations at the bottom of the page.

For your corporate event in Bonn, you tell me the occasion, the date and the expected number of guests, and in a video call we talk about music, schedule and room. We discuss the individual stages of your evening beforehand in the briefing. On the day of your event the equipment is ready after about 40 minutes, and then I listen to the empty room. My standard system is enough for up to 150 guests; beyond that I bring in technical partners.

Who i'm not the right DJ for

A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.

My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.

If that doesn't fit your event, I'm not the right person, and that's perfectly fine. If it does fit, we'll discuss the details.
