Celebrating between the Rhine and the Wine Route
Community house, winery or ballroom: first I want to know what your room looks like, because that determines how much equipment I set up and where I put it. Four venues are available for your birthday: a BASF ballroom, a community house in the Ruchheim district and two wine houses near Bad Dürkheim.
Ludwigshafen offers very different settings for your party, from the community hall in Ruchheim with room for 361 people to the ballroom in the Gesellschaftshaus der BASF. How far my sound carries, I adjust to the respective room and not to a template.
A garden spot or a living room is enough for me, as long as about 2.5 by 1.5 metres are free there; I am set up after around 40 minutes. For a small group a compact setup is enough for me, and for up to 150 guests I bring the full standard system.
LUKOM lists the community hall for theater performances, choir events, private parties and dance competitions. It offers space for 361 people, is accessible and designed for self-catering. How many guests you expect decides how much equipment I bring.
The Gesellschaftshaus lists parties among its occasions, and according to BASF the ballroom holds up to 180 guests. There is also a wine library, a library and a reading room. If you want to dance in the hall and talk quietly next door, we agree beforehand where my music should play.
The Honigsäckel in Ungstein is a wine house run by the Wolf winery. Please ask the venue directly about how it operates; after that I adjust my set-up to the information you get.
The winery lists family parties and banquets as a separate area and describes the Sektkellerei Fitz as the oldest in Rhineland-Palatinate. If you celebrate between vineyards and manor house, we work out together where your guests dance and where they can toast in peace.
Rooms, occasions and venues come from the operators' websites, the Ludwigshafener Kongress- und Marketinggesellschaft and Wikipedia, as of October 2026. Whether your preferred date is free and how many guests fit in, you can only find out directly from the venue.
Who I am
You invite to Ludwigshafen, and I take care of the sound. My first evenings were in 1998 at a discotheque, by now it is over 1450 parties, from living room parties to big halls. For me a good evening needs no fixed plan, but someone who listens.
My own edits create transitions between classics and new hits, so that older and younger guests alike come onto the floor. Tell me beforehand what you love and what is out of the question, and you can celebrate along, relaxed.
How it works
Send me the date and place, I'll get back to you the same or the next day, then follow the video call, setup and party. I answer any questions in between myself.
Request a dateAfter your enquiry it takes at most one day until you hear from me. In the short video call you tell me about your birthday, and afterwards you receive your quote.
With the booking you receive my mobile number, because WhatsApp is the shortest line. Seven days before the party we go through requested songs, no-gos and schedule together.
My setup takes about 40 minutes, afterwards I listen to the system in the room. I clear up last questions with you or the venue, so that everything runs calmly and unobtrusively.
Subtle lounge music lets the guests find their way into conversation calmly as they arrive. For the birthday guest of honour or a special moment, I choose the music that fits exactly.
The programme of the evening gets the right tone from me: music for the meal, the microphone for speeches and announcements, tracks for games, surprises and the cake cutting.
As soon as the dance floor is open, everything is in my hands. I read the mood, change the set spontaneously according to the guests and keep young and old on the floor until the last song plays.

For your birthday I put together a set that belongs only to you, and develop it further as the party goes on. Tracks from different decades also get those onto the dance floor who only wanted to watch. A balcony, a garden or your living room is enough for me, because I carry my compact setup in myself. If a slideshow is running or someone gives a speech, I turn the music down immediately.

Current hits play alongside classics from many decades at my sets, and I collect your requests in advance without stubbornly working through a list at the booth.
About 40 minutes of setup plus sound check, then my equipment is ready; after the party I take everything down myself. For that, about 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) the setup takes about 40 minutes.
Which extras are added is entirely your decision, whether lighting, photo station, live music or audio guest book, and I handle the coordination.

+49 176 700 580 27Yes, even with ten guests I tune in to your group and keep the volume so that you can talk comfortably. If the venue has its own speakers, I connect to them; if it has none, mine come along.
You give me a sign, I turn the music down and hand you or your brother the wireless microphone. Afterwards I fade the beat back in so the momentum of your party stays.
That works as long as I can fit the track into the mood. Tell your guests they can talk to me at the booth, and I will note their requests and work them in. Your list from our first conversation remains my framework.
For a milestone birthday in a proper venue, ask me a few months ahead, while a small party can often be arranged at shorter notice. As soon as you send me your date, you will hear back within a day on whether it works for me.
I only need power at one spot and a level patch of ground for my booth. Tell me beforehand where the space is, then I plan the setup and routes accordingly.

Transparency
A whole evening of nothing but Schlager and Ballermann, hour after hour? A few big crowd-pleasers in between, when the mood calls for it, belong to a good birthday party for me. Building a whole evening on them alone isn't my thing, though. I'm just as little the right person for non-stop techno sets without any contact with the crowd, for rigid request lists that get worked through from top to bottom, or for festival formats with several stages. There are other DJs who can do exactly that and love it, nothing against them, it's simply not my speciality.
My craft is mixing live for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
