Wedding venues in Ludwigshafen
A banqueting hall, a winery or a park terrace sound very different, which is why I ask about the room, the floor and the open space before planning. I introduce four venues between the Rhine bank and the Weinstrasse: a BASF ballroom, a cultural venue in the city centre, a winery with a sparkling-wine cellar and a wine house in Ungstein, and for each of them I plan the set-up and schedule with you.
Anyone getting married in Ludwigshafen chooses between the ballroom in the Gesellschaftshaus der BASF, the foyers of the Pfalzbau and the wineries just outside the city. A ballroom calls for a different setup than a courtyard under the open sky, and that is exactly where my planning begins.
My setup takes about 40 minutes, and for the booth and speakers I allow roughly 2.5 by 1.5 metres. A soundcheck is added, so that everything is ready before you walk through the door with the bridal bouquet. Which songs you want to hear and which you don't, you enter beforehand in your wedding portal.
The Gesellschaftshaus lists conferences, celebrations and weddings as occasions. According to BASF, the ballroom is modelled on a hall in the Royal Palace in Brussels and holds up to 180 guests, and there is also a wine library, a library and a reading room. How I place the speakers in a hall of this layout, we agree on together beforehand.
The Pfalzbau is marketed by the Ludwigshafener Kongress- und Marketinggesellschaft, which lists social events and receptions among its occasions. According to LUKOM, the Glass Foyer measures 300 square metres with a ceiling height of 11 metres, and the concert hall 767 square metres. Whether you toast in the foyer and dance in the hall determines my setup.
On the winery's website, weddings, family celebrations and banquets have their own section, alongside the REBARENA. According to the operator, the Sektkellerei Fitz is the oldest sparkling wine cellar in Rhineland-Palatinate and was once a purveyor to the court. Among the vineyards, the cellar and the manor house, I clarify with you where music may play and where there should be quiet.
The Honigsäckel in Ungstein is a wine house run by the Wolf winery, which uses it for wine tastings and events. Please ask the venue directly about how it operates; after that I align my equipment with the information you receive.
Rooms, occasions and capacities come from the operators' websites, the Ludwigshafener Kongress- und Marketinggesellschaft and Wikipedia, as of October 2026. Whether your preferred date is free and how many guests fit in, you can only find out directly from the respective venue.
I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.
Who I am
Before I choose a single song, I want to get to know you: who are you inviting, and what should this day tell? My career began in 1998 at a nightclub booth, and I have been playing at celebrations of all kinds for over 25 years, including more than 650 weddings.
From tracks of several decades I build my own edits, so that parents, cousins and colleagues are dancing in the same minute. For that I keep asking until I can really picture your guests. In the end, what should be heard is your wedding and not my name.
How it works
A few lines about the date and venue are enough, I get back to you the same or the next day, and we get to know each other in a video call before I plan.
Request a dateSend me the date and venue as soon as both are fixed, and I will reply the same day or within 24 hours at the latest. The video call involves no sales pressure, just getting to know each other, ideas, and then your quote.
With your booking, the wedding portal is yours. There, in the web app, you collect special moments, no-gos, favourite songs and the schedule, and about a week before the celebration we talk on the phone and go through everything.
My setup takes about 40 minutes, and I also allow time for the soundcheck. That way I am ready while you are still getting changed, and I can discuss details with the speaker and the photographer.
For the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit, I use music to set the mood. At the reception, subtle lounge music plays in the background, and outdoors my system works without a power connection.
The meal gets a calm soundtrack from me. Speeches go through the wireless microphone, and games, surprises and the bouquet toss each get the fitting sound.
With your chosen edit you open the dance, and then the party begins. I see what the dance floor demands, adjust the set live and keep all generations moving until the end.

About 40 minutes of setup and a soundcheck are enough for me; after the celebration I dismantle everything myself. For that, about 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup location, no stairs or lifts) the setup takes about 40 minutes.

I provide music for the entrance, ring exchange and exit of your ceremony, music that works even without a power socket.
If you want a photo station, live music, uplights and an audio guest book together, you get everything from a single source, and I take care of the coordination.

Gladly, for the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit I put together a short song list with you. Please check with the venue whether outdoor ceremonies are allowed at your location.
I watch which tables nobody has left yet and deliberately try a classic or a hit there. My edits blend disco, soul, chart hits and Schlager, so parents and teenagers alike find a way in. Anything you don't like, you write down for me beforehand.
A saxophone suits the sparkling wine reception at a winery especially well, and a musician from my network joins my mix live. Vocals, violin and percussion are also among the performances I can arrange for you. We decide together when the performance will have the greatest effect.
Yes, even then, because I adapt my system to the size of your group. My standard system is enough for up to 150 guests, and I only need power at one spot at the booth. Just tell me how many of you there will be.
As soon as your date is set, because popular Saturdays go quickly. For high summer, I recommend several months of lead time. If you send me your date, I will get back to you the next day to say whether I am still free.

First, send me the date, location and an estimate of the guest count. In a video call we clarify your musical taste, the schedule and the moments that matter to you, and shortly before the wedding we go through the plan one last time.
