Celebrations in the Hanseatic city
A brick cellar, a park hall and a salon on the beach sound completely different, so I have your room described to me before I choose speakers and decide where they go. Five venues are on offer for your birthday: the vaulted cellar of a merchant's house at the Koberg, a manor house in Stockelsdorf, an estate on the canal and two hotels on the beach at Travemünde.
In Lübeck you can celebrate in a vaulted cellar, in a manor house with a park, in an estate parlour by the canal or in a hotel on the Baltic Sea. Whether six friends come or sixty relatives determines how much equipment I bring. To start with, your address is all I need.
If you celebrate in your own living room or in the garden, I set up a small rig that works without a free power socket within reach. We talk through beforehand by when I can get into the house and on which patch of floor the console stands, so that on the day itself you have nothing left to organise.
The venue lists birthdays and family celebrations as occasions and uses the vaulted cellar of almost 300 square metres as a party cellar. According to the operator, the Hinterdornse is about 50 square metres. In the brick vault I deliberately place the speakers low so that the sound does not reverberate.
The manor house in the neighbouring municipality of Stockelsdorf explicitly lists birthdays and family celebrations. It offers a large hall on the upper floor and a park terrace with a garden of about 750 square metres. If you celebrate in summer, we plan together whether the music starts outdoors.
The estate on the Elbe-Lübeck Canal lists birthdays among its occasions for celebration. According to the operator, the Pesel has 40 square metres for up to 30 people, and the Alte Schweinestall 50 square metres, likewise for up to 30. In a parlour like that, a small sound system is enough for me.
For smaller celebrations such as birthdays, the hotel on the beach promenade lists further rooms besides the historic ballroom. Which one suits your group is something you settle with the venue, and afterwards I plan the setup and volume.
The hotel on the Baltic beach has twelve event rooms and explicitly names birthdays as an occasion. Whether you celebrate in a salon or in the hall depends on your number of guests, and I tailor my equipment accordingly.
I took the details on rooms, capacities and occasions from the operators' websites, as of October 2026. Whether a date is free and how many guests fit in can only be confirmed by the venue itself.
Who I am
You invite your guests to Lübeck, and I provide the sound so that they do more than just eat and talk. I found my way to the decks in a nightclub, later company parties and private celebrations followed, and by now it is over 1450 events. For me a successful party does not follow a rigid plan, it needs someone who listens.
Classics and current hits flow into one another in my edits, so guests of every age come onto the dance floor. Tell me what you love and what should stay off the playlist, and your evening will come together while you celebrate without a care.
How it works
Give me the date and place, and you will hear from me the next day at the latest. Then come the video call, the setup and the party, and whatever remains open in between, we settle personally.
Request a dateAfter your enquiry it takes at most one day until you hear from me. In the short video call you tell me about your birthday, and afterwards you receive your quote.
With the booking you receive my mobile number, because WhatsApp is the shortest line. Seven days before the party we go through requested songs, no-gos and schedule together.
Before the first guests arrive, I set up and do the sound check, which takes about 40 minutes. I discuss any open questions with you or the venue so that the evening starts calmly.
Subtle lounge music lets the guests find their way into conversation calmly as they arrive. For the birthday guest of honour or a special moment, I choose the music that fits exactly.
The programme of the evening gets the right tone from me: music for the meal, the microphone for speeches and announcements, tracks for games, surprises and the cake cutting.
As soon as the dance floor is open, everything is in my hands. I read the mood, change the set spontaneously according to the guests and keep young and old on the floor until the last song plays.

For your birthday I put together a set that belongs only to you, and develop it as the party goes on. Tracks from different decades also bring those onto the floor who only wanted to watch. A balcony, a garden or the living room is enough for me, as I carry my compact setup in myself. If a slideshow is playing or someone is giving a speech, I take the music down immediately.

I mix current hits with classics from many decades, and I ask for your requests in advance instead of stubbornly working through a list at the booth.
For the decks and speakers I need 2.5 by 1.5 metres, the setup takes about 40 minutes, and after the party I take everything down myself. About 2.5 m in width and 1.5 m in depth is enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or lifts) the setup takes around 40 minutes.
Which extras are added is entirely your decision, whether lighting, photo station, live music or audio guest book, and I handle the coordination.

I need the address, a power socket nearby and a dry space of 2.5 by 1.5 metres. Everything else I sort out myself with the venue.
I mix live and decide on the night what plays next. You give me the songs you absolutely want to hear, and I work them in so that all age groups come along.
For a small gathering on a weekday that often works. For a milestone birthday or on a Saturday, it is better to get in touch two to three months beforehand, and I will reply within a day.
I do that well if I know beforehand what happens when. Then I pull the music back, hand over the microphone and afterwards pick up exactly where you want to carry the mood on.

Transparency
Hours of nothing but Ballermann and schlager? A few hits of that kind can work well at a birthday party when the mood is right, which is why they have their place with me too. Building a whole evening on them is not my line, though. I'm also not your DJ for techno with no connection to the crowd, for a list ticked off title by title, or for festivals with several stages. There are colleagues who are really good at that and love it; nothing against them, it's simply not my territory.
What I do is live mixing for guests who want an evening with feeling: clean transitions, the right title at the right moment, more than letting a playlist run. That is why I tell you openly beforehand what doesn't suit me, so that you aren't disappointed on the night.
