DJ Lübeck · Old Town and Travemünde
From the old town island to the beach in Travemünde: music for your celebration in the Hanseatic city.
Whether a merchant's house in the old town, a hotel on the Trave or a ballroom on the promenade: I am Michael Zimmermann, and I mix live what goes down well with your guests. Over 25 years behind the decks have taught me to read the mood of a room early. We clarify what matters beforehand in a phone call or video call.
“We couldn't have wished for a better DJ.”

You get exactly one shot. I had 1,450 to practise.
Micha is a great DJ. He is super nice and implements everything exactly as agreed. I can absolutely recommend him.

Occasions
Three pages for three kinds of celebration: choose the card that fits your date in the Hanseatic city or on the bay.
From a merchant's house in the old town to a ballroom on the promenade: the music accompanies your day from the reception to the final song.
Summer party, Christmas party or anniversary: with the right music, the workplace becomes a celebrating crowd.
The milestone birthday in a vaulted cellar, the party in a manor house: the music is shaped by the age of the guests and the taste of the host.
Around Lübeck
The old town lies on an island between the Trave and the canal and has been on the World Heritage list since 1987. Anyone celebrating here is never far from brick gables and the towers of St. Marien, and the Trave flows into the Baltic Sea in the district of Travemünde.
Your celebration can take place in a merchant's house, in a hotel on the beach or on an estate on the edge of town. Bad Schwartau, Ratzeburg, Eutin and Timmendorfer Strand are also part of my service area.

About me
I learned how to get people of different generations onto one dance floor in a club. That has grown into more than 1450 events, over 650 of them weddings, and the principle works just as well for a company party as for a family celebration.
If you would like to read beforehand how other guests experienced the music: on Google there are 60 reviews with an average of 5.0 stars. Planning follows the questions of who is celebrating, how many are coming and where; only then do I put together the music and equipment.
In workshops of the DJ Allianz e.V., I pass on how to make transitions clean and how to recognise the mood in the room early. That benefits you when grandparents, colleagues and friends are meant to dance to the same songs.

Services
Sound and lighting for rooms of up to about 150 guests, wireless microphones for speeches and backup equipment come to every party. On request I add uplights, a photo booth, an audio guest book or live music to the DJ set. We discuss the schedule and music calmly beforehand, so that nothing is left open on the day itself.
Frequently asked questions
Short answers for everyone planning to celebrate in Lübeck or on the bay. The pages on weddings, company parties and birthdays describe it in more detail.
+49 176 700 580 27I bring the sound system, lighting and microphones, whether you celebrate in the old town, in Travemünde or in Kücknitz. You set the framework for the evening, and I fill it with music.
I play in all districts of Lübeck as well as in Bad Schwartau, Stockelsdorf, Ratekau, Timmendorfer Strand, Ratzeburg and Eutin. Just tell me where the celebration is.
As soon as the date and venue are settled, because summer Saturdays and December get booked up quickly. Within 24 hours I let you know whether I am free that day.
I start with songs everyone knows and then work my way towards disco, chart hits and house. How you dance tells me where the journey goes, and we discuss your requests and no-gos beforehand.
I always have a second setup with a spare laptop on hand so the music keeps going. You won't notice a thing, even if I am playing in Schlutup or Travemünde.
You write to me via the form or call me, and I get back to you within a day. Then we arrange a no-obligation video call, and only after that do you receive your personal quote.
Then enquire right away, before another couple or team books the same Saturday.

Even more options
If a DJ set alone isn't enough for you, I book live musicians from my network to join. They play between the tracks and blend into the evening, whether the party is in the old town or in a town on the bay. We decide together who suits you.
01
Reception · Opening dance
A saxophone over mellow house gives the reception warmth and turns the first dance into a small performance.
02
Entrance · Surprise
A voice accompanies the entrance or surprises the birthday guest of honour when they least expect it.
03
Late evening · Dance floor
Drums and rhythm instruments give the evening tempo as soon as everyone should get moving after the meal.
04
Standing reception · Festive dinner
The violin plays at the standing reception or during the meal and lends the evening splendour in the hall, on the terrace or in the garden.
