Celebrating in Magdeburg
Palm house, concert hall or your living room: the venue determines the speakers, so I ask beforehand about size, ceiling height and free space. For your party I suggest five addresses, from the greenhouse and the Gesellschaftshaus to the Herrenkrug, each with room for guests and speakers.
Where you celebrate in Magdeburg is up to you: among palms in a greenhouse, in a neoclassical salon, in the park grounds of the Herrenkrug or at home. A small set is enough for a few guests, for the whole family I set up more speakers; at first I only need the address.
If you celebrate at home, a sturdy table for the console is enough, and the speakers need some space from the wall. We agree on space and start time beforehand so that you can remain the host during the evening.
According to their website, the greenhouses rent out the Farnhaus for up to 70 people and the Botanikschule for up to 25 people, with family and company celebrations mentioned. Since only the room is rented, I clarify with you what equipment and seating need to be in place.
The 60-metre tower in the park explicitly lists birthdays, children's birthdays and Jugendweihe ceremonies among its occasions on its website. For a celebration with a view I plan a compact set that will not drown out you and your guests.
The house rents out private parties in the Gartensaal, Schinkelsaal, Kleiner Saal and three salons. For a smaller group a salon is enough for me; for a large family I come with more speakers to the Gartensaal, which holds up to 216 people.
The hotel at the edge of the park has an Art Nouveau banquet hall from 1904 and the park restaurant DIE SAISON; its website lists exclusive events. You discuss with the hotel which room suits your number of guests, and I adapt the music to it.
The building on Breiter Weg advertises celebrating, holding meetings and staying overnight. If you choose Hundertwasser's last building, first ask about the room and the date, and then we talk about the setup and the music.
I read up on the rooms, capacities and occasions on the venues' own websites, as of October 2026. Whether your date is free and how many guests fit in, you can only find out from the venue.
Who I am
Your birthday belongs to you, and I make sure it sounds that way too. My path led from the nightclub to company parties and private celebrations, and by now over 1450 events have come together. An evening does not follow a script, but who is dancing right now and who is still holding back.
With my own edits I bring classics and current hits together so that guests of all ages find a shared dance floor. You tell me your favourite tracks and no-gos beforehand, and I take care of everything else. I am also happy to take spontaneous requests from the next table, as long as they suit your evening.
How it works
Send me the date and place of your party; I reply the same or the next day, then follow the video call, set-up and party.
Request a dateI reply to your enquiry within a day at the latest. In a short video call you tell me about your birthday, and after that your quote is with you.
With the booking you get my mobile number, as WhatsApp is the shortest route. A week before the party we go over requested songs, no-gos and the schedule.
I set up before the guests arrive; that takes around 40 minutes plus soundcheck. I clear up any last questions with you or the venue so that the evening starts calmly and unobtrusively.
As guests arrive, subtle lounge music plays that gets them talking. For the birthday guest of honour or a special moment, I choose the music that fits.
I set the tone for the evening: music for the meal, a microphone for speeches and announcements, fitting tracks for games, surprises and the cutting of the cake.
Once the dance floor is open, everything is in my hands. I watch the mood, adjust the set to the guests and keep young and old on the floor until the last song plays.

For your evening I put together a set that belongs only to you and develop it further as the party goes on. Tracks from several decades also get those onto the floor who only wanted to watch at first. A balcony, a garden or your living room is enough for me, as I carry the compact equipment in myself. If a slideshow is running or someone is speaking, I take the music down immediately.

Current hits sit alongside classics from many decades in my sets, and I collect your requests beforehand without stubbornly working through a list at the decks.
The equipment is set up and sound-checked before your guests arrive, and I clear everything away myself after the party. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup area, no stairs or lifts) setting up takes around 40 minutes.
You decide which extras to add, whether lighting, photo station, live music or audio guest book, and I take care of the coordination for you.

Your favourite tracks remain the thread through the evening. Guests younger than you I bring along with newer pieces, without your evening losing its direction.
Yes, especially in a small group you notice how music carries a conversation and later leads people onto the floor. A handy system is enough, and I set it up so that conversation at your table does not get drowned out. If the venue provides its own equipment, I connect to it.
That works: I carry the system up the stairs myself, and in a living room a small set is enough. With high ceilings the sound feels open, so we discuss in advance where the speakers should stand. Tell your neighbours in good time, and the evening stays relaxed.
As long as you want to celebrate; we fix the duration before booking. Over five hours I divide the evening into phases so that nothing fizzles out and there is time for food, speeches and dancing.
I check the sound of the film during the soundcheck, provided you send me the file beforehand. For the screening I fade out the music, you watch the film in peace, and afterwards we continue seamlessly.

Transparency
A whole evening of nothing but Schlager and Ballermann, hour after hour? A few big crowd-pleasers in between, when the mood calls for it, belong to a good birthday party for me. Building a whole evening on them alone isn't my thing, though. I'm just as little the right person for non-stop techno sets without any contact with the crowd, for rigid request lists that get worked through from top to bottom, or for festival formats with several stages. There are other DJs who can do exactly that and love it, nothing against them, it's simply not my speciality.
My craft is mixing live for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
