Company parties in Magdeburg
Congress hotel, greenhouse or Auenpark: the venues in Magdeburg are very different, which is why I first ask about the programme and the room. Six examples from the city show how wide the choice is for your company evening: from the congress hotel at the main station via the Gesellschaftshaus and Herrenkrug to the greenhouses.
Magdeburg offers company parties from the congress hotel with a hall for over a thousand guests, via Art Nouveau rooms in the Herrenkrug, to meeting rooms in the Elbauenpark. How much equipment is needed depends on the venue, so please tell me the occasion, format and number of guests first.
Under high ceilings I keep the sound lean, outdoors I pay attention to reach. We agree on the sequence of dinner, speeches and dancing in advance, and I take care of setting up and taking down.
The venue lists 18 event rooms for meetings, congresses and large events, and the Maritim hall holds up to 1,550 people. For an event of this size, we clarify early on where the programme and the dance area will be.
The hotel lists 10 meeting rooms totalling 1,200 m² and an outdoor area of 10,000 m² for events. Whether the reception takes place outdoors and the evening programme in the banquet hall, we discuss with you before the date.
The park lists banquets and galas, meetings, company outings, team building and corporate events as occasions. For a company outing with an evening programme, I adapt the equipment to the location you book at the park.
The venue offers rooms for private and business celebrations, including the Gartensaal with 256 m² and the Schinkelsaal with 186 m². Which rooms suit your number of participants, you can see from the venue's seating plans.
According to the website, the Farnhaus for up to 70 people and the Botanikschule for up to 25 people can be hired for company parties, with equipment and catering the responsibility of the hirer. For a team dinner in the greenery, I bring a compact system.
The art museum in the city's oldest surviving building has a hire section and lists the cloister as a venue for hire. Which rooms are possible for your event, you clarify with the venue.

Who I am
You set the framework for your evening in Magdeburg: first the reception, then speeches, finally dancing, and the music follows this sequence. My roots are in the nightclub, and many company evenings came later. In advance we discuss by phone or video call when there will be speeches and when there will be celebrating.
My own edits connect the sections of your evening so that your guests notice no seam. I bring the sound system and wireless microphones, set everything up and test the sound in the still empty room. Guests from the board and from production should feel at ease on the same evening.

Which track works for which generation, I hear in the room and adjust the mix continuously instead of playing a list. I have been bridging company culture and party atmosphere for years, including for large corporations. For the switch from dinner to party I keep time free, so that a long speech does not slow your evening down. Up to 150 guests I provide all the equipment myself, and for larger events I bring in reliable technical partners.

From seventies soul to current chart hits, we discuss your music programme beforehand, and I weave the genres together into a seamless evening.
I allow about 40 minutes for setup, but I am ready in good time before admission, set up the system calmly and clear everything away myself after the last track. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup area, no stairs or lifts) setting up takes around 40 minutes.

+49 176 700 580 27Yes, I structure my programme so that you are never facing an empty dance floor, however the number of guests changes. We agree with you before the event on when shifts end and when the last people arrive. If needed, I shorten the set or stretch it out until everyone has arrived.
First I ask you about your guests, because that is what I base my track selection on. During speeches and awards I hold back, and afterwards I lift the mood step by step. I bring a microphone for your speakers.
I use compact speakers and place them so that no cable runs across paths or flower beds. Send me photos or a floor plan and I will adapt my plan accordingly. What is allowed at the venue, you clarify directly with them.
Four to eight weeks of lead time is usually enough; for sought-after December Fridays and large groups, it is better to get in touch earlier. You usually get my reply the same day, after which we settle the schedule and equipment with you.
Yes, I shape the reception with subtle background music and follow it with a compact dance block. You decide the start and end. If speeches come beforehand, I align the transitions accordingly.
First you receive an offer in writing from me, and after the event the invoice. We agree on how payment is made with you before booking. I answer questions from your accounting department personally.

This is how we work together on your company event in Magdeburg: you describe the occasion, date and number of participants, in a video call we clarify music, programme and room, and shortly before the date we review the schedule. On the day of the event I am on site before the doors open and test the sound in the empty hall. I serve smaller groups with my own system, and for very large guest lists I bring in technical partners.

Transparency
A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.
My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
