My first night behind the decks was in 1998, private parties have been part of it since 2004, and after more than 1,450 events I sense early on where the mood is heading. Celebrations on the Main
An industrial loft, a factory hall and a pub function room each sound different, and I set up according to the room you celebrate in. Five addresses are on offer for your birthday: an industrial loft in the Nordend, a steakhouse at Wilhelmsplatz, an event venue in Waldhof, a loft in Rumpenheim and a factory site with a beach area.
Offenbach has very different venues for your party, from the industrial loft in the Nordend and the steakhouse on Wilhelmsplatz to the factory site with a beach area. How big my system will be depends on how many guests come; all you still need is the address.
If your party takes place in a flat, a courtyard or in the open air, a small system is enough that I carry in myself and that can run on battery if needed. I ask beforehand where I can stand and whether there is power nearby, so you have time for your guests on the day.
The studio bar in the Nordend is an industrial loft and lists birthday parties, get-togethers and Christmas parties as evening occasions. According to the operator, the seating switches flexibly between rows, blocks and a standing reception, and audio and lighting equipment is available as needed. Whether I connect to it or use my own system, I clarify with the venue.
The steakhouse on Wilhelmsplatz offers a venue with catering and decoration on its events page, including for birthdays. The page gives no guest numbers, so ask the venue directly. I adapt my set to the room size you are promised.
The event venue in the Waldhof industrial estate lists birthdays, family celebrations and pre-wedding parties (Polterabend). According to the operator there are 70 indoor and 50 outdoor seats, but no more than 80 guests. A compact set is enough for this size, and where the dancing takes place, indoors or outdoors, we discuss beforehand.
According to the operator, the loft in the former piano factory in Rumpenheim offers around 130 square metres for up to 50 people, an open show kitchen and a view of the Rumpenheim stretch of the Main. The page lists private celebrations and christenings as occasions. A screen, projector and a Sonos sound system are available; which of these I use, we decide in advance.
Kommune2010 writes about birthday parties in factory halls and works rooms, with an outdoor area including a sandy beach, barbecue area and outdoor bars. The page gives no address or capacity, and the operator recommends arranging a viewing. For an open-air party my set can run on battery if needed.
Rooms, capacities and occasions come from the operators' own websites, as of October 2026. Whether your preferred date is free and how many guests fit in, you clarify directly with the operator.
Who I am
You invite people to Offenbach, and I bring the good sound. I started in a nightclub in 1998, private and corporate parties followed from 2004, and by now I count more than 1450 events. For me a successful party does not need a rigid schedule, it needs someone who listens.
My edits link classics and current hits so that younger and older guests dance together. Tell me your wishes and no-gos in advance, and the evening runs smoothly without a big show, so you can celebrate yourself instead of worrying about the equipment.
How it works
Tell me the date and place, and I will get back to you the same day or the next, followed by a video call, the setup and the party. I answer your questions personally along the way.

When you book, you get my mobile number, because WhatsApp is the quickest way to reach me. About a week before the party we go over requested songs, no-gos and the programme.
Before the guests arrive I set up; for the technology and soundcheck, one to two hours is usually enough for me. I clear up open questions with you or the venue so that everything starts calmly and unobtrusively.
Quiet lounge music helps guests ease into conversation as they arrive. For you as the birthday guest of honour and for special moments, I choose the fitting tracks.
I give the evening's programme the right sound: music for the meal, a microphone for speeches and announcements, tracks for games, surprises and the cutting of the cake.
Once the dance floor is open, I take the helm. I sense the mood, change the set on the spot and keep young and old on the floor until the last song plays.

For your birthday I put together a set that I adapt to the guests as we go. Tracks from several decades get even those onto the dance floor who first only wanted to watch. My compact setup fits on the balcony, in the garden or in the living room, and I carry the equipment in myself. When a slideshow is running or someone is speaking, I turn the music down.

New hits and old classics play side by side; I note your favourite tracks beforehand, but the decks follow the mood, not a list.
My equipment is set up and checked before the first guests arrive, and after the party I clear everything away myself. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or lifts) the setup takes around 40 minutes.
Which extras you add is up to you: lighting, photo station, live music or audio guest book, and I take care of the coordination.

Of course: a wireless microphone is at the decks, and you can take it whenever you want to say a few words. Whether I make any announcements myself, we decide together in advance, including for friends with a speech or a game.
Yes, feel free to send me songs in any language that should play a role at your party. I work them in so that they fit alongside hits and classics, and if I'm unsure, I'll ask you about the mood of a song.
For milestone birthdays at the weekend, plan several months ahead, because I book popular dates early; for small groups a few weeks is often enough. If time is short, just get in touch and I will tell you straight away whether your day still works.
Yes, from my network I can arrange violin, vocals, saxophone or percussion for you. We find out in our first conversation at which moment the performance will enrich your evening the most.

Transparency
A whole evening of nothing but Schlager and Ballermann, hour after hour? A few big crowd-pleasers in between, when the mood calls for it, belong to a good birthday party for me. Building a whole evening on them alone isn't my thing, though. I'm just as little the right person for non-stop techno sets without any contact with the crowd, for rigid request lists that get worked through from top to bottom, or for festival formats with several stages. There are other DJs who can do exactly that and love it, nothing against them, it's simply not my speciality.
My craft is mixing live for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
