Corporate parties in Offenbach
Exhibition hall, hotel ballroom or converted factory: the venues in Offenbach differ greatly, so I first ask about the programme and the room. Six addresses show how different your company evening can be: a party in the exhibition hall, an evening in a loft, in a hotel ballroom or on a factory site with outdoor stages.
Your choice in Offenbach ranges from the trade fair centre with five halls and a hotel with 14 event rooms to the industrial loft in the Nordend. I only decide how much equipment suits the room once you have told me the occasion, the format and the number of guests.
In a large hall I plan speakers and reserve capacity more generously, in a small loft I hold back. We note the sequence of buffet, speeches and dancing in a short running order, and I clear setup and teardown with the venue.
Messe Offenbach explicitly lists corporate events among its events. According to the operator, about 20,000 square metres of event space, five halls for up to 2,000 people and four conference rooms for 40 to 100 guests are available. At this size I agree the sound coverage and hall layout with you early on.
The studio bar in the Nordend lists conferences and workshops during the day, and company parties, get-togethers and Christmas parties in the evening. According to the operator, the seating can be switched between rows, U-shape, standing reception and lounge, and audio and lighting equipment is available as needed. From presentation to party, we plan the transition together.
The Sheraton at the Büsingpalais lists 14 event rooms with a combined 1,904 square metres, and according to the operator the largest holds 240 people with banquet seating and 450 with theatre seating. In a venue with so many rooms, I clarify with you in advance which room the music will play in and how the move between rooms works.
The loft in Rumpenheim, a former piano factory, lists corporate events alongside private parties. According to the operator, it has around 130 square metres for up to 50 people, with a screen, projector and Sonos sound system. For a group of this size a slim set is enough, and we discuss in advance whether the house system is used as well.
The event venue in the Waldhof industrial area lists company parties and birthdays; according to the operator, there are 70 indoor and 50 outdoor seats, with a maximum of 80 guests. The S-Bahn stop is about two minutes away. If the evening is to wind down outside, we plan the move outdoors with you.
Kommune2010 promotes business events and company parties in factory halls and workshop rooms, plus two open-air stages. The page gives no address or capacity, and the operator recommends a viewing appointment. For halls and open areas we agree which areas get sound.

Welcome, speeches, party: the schedule of your evening in Offenbach determines how I shape the music. My path began in 1998 behind the decks of a nightclub; from 2004 private and corporate celebrations played a role, and today more than 1,450 events lie behind me.
In the first conversation, by phone or video, we discuss with you when the speeches end and the party begins. My own edits join the phases of your evening, and I stay in the background. On the day I bring the equipment including wireless microphones, set up myself and do the sound check.

01For corporate parties with up to about 500 guests, I tailor the music to your company and make sure people end up dancing. I sense in the room which track works for which age group and follow up accordingly, instead of working through a list. Since 2004 I have combined company culture and party spirit, including at large corporations. I plan time for the transition from the buffet to the party, so that a long speech doesn't slow the evening down. Up to 150 guests I bring all the equipment myself; for larger events I work with proven technical partners.

It starts with your music wish list, after which I coordinate the details with the venue and suppliers myself, so you don't have to chase anyone. Tracks and topics that don't suit your occasion, I note during our conversation and keep out of the programme.

From seventies soul to current charts, we discuss your programme in advance, and I blend the styles into one whole.
I am ready in good time before doors open, set up the system calmly and clear everything away myself after the last track. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup area, no stairs or lifts) the setup takes around 40 minutes.

For a gala or anniversary celebration I apply the same standard as for any other company party, from the first guest to the farewell.

+49 176 700 580 27In advance I ask you about the make-up of your workforce and about your experience with earlier parties. During the evening I watch where people are dancing and mix charts, classics and dance music from several directions accordingly. What should not be played, I note down with you in the briefing.
Instead of simply turning up the volume, I place the speakers deliberately and check during the sound check in the empty room how clearly the people giving your speeches can be understood. For speeches there is a wireless microphone ready, which we plan into the running order with you.
I look after up to 150 guests with my own system, and with a buffer built into the setup, even last-minute confirmations will not disturb your schedule. If significantly more guests come than planned, I arrange additional equipment through partners and let you know early.
I ask you in advance for the schedule with times and decide for each item when the music fades out and starts again. For awards and the prize draw I play an intro or background music, as you prefer. If a contribution runs long, I adapt to you.
I recommend four to eight weeks of lead time, a little more for dates in December. You get my reply within 24 hours, and the invoice follows after the event with a week to pay.
Gladly: from my circle of musicians I can introduce you to singers, violinists, saxophonists or percussionists who play along with my mix. In which phase the performance works best, we decide with you in the briefing, for example at the welcome or when opening the dance floor.

If you want live music already at the reception or dinner, I'll arrange a well-rehearsed band of two to four musicians for you. After that I keep playing without a break, and because the planning is in my hands, I remain your single point of contact.

Your corporate event in Offenbach starts with a message to me: the occasion, the date and the number of participants are enough. In the video call we talk with you about music, room and programme, and shortly before the date a briefing follows in which we go through the evening together. On the day of the event I am ready before doors open and test the sound in the empty hall. For smaller groups my own system is enough, and for larger events I provide the sound together with technical partners.

Transparency
A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.
My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
