Your birthday in Paderborn can take place in a festival hall, in a museum forum or in a Schützenhof with a beer garden. Four addresses show you what you can enquire about.
Your birthday in Paderborn can take place in a large hall, in a building with conference rooms or in a beer garden on the edge of town. Pick the venue first, then I adjust speakers and volume to it.
In a living room, a garden or a clubhouse, a compact set is enough for me, with a battery if necessary. We settle the setup spot and the power source before the party, and 40 minutes after I arrive the system is ready to play.
According to the Paderhalle, the Schützenhof has five freely combinable rooms totalling 3,000 square metres, and there is a beer garden in summer. Which room suits your number of guests, the operator can tell you. I then tune my set to it.
The venue calls itself the world's largest computer museum and opened in 1996 in the former headquarters of Nixdorf Computer AG. Its website has a birthday-at-the-museum section. Whether the offer suits your party, you settle with the museum.
The venue lists family celebrations among its occasions. Which room is big enough for your guests, the Liborianum itself will tell you. After that we think together about how loud or quiet the evening should sound.
The hall from 1981 lists banquets, balls and parties as occasions, plus a dance floor of around 180 square metres. For a milestone birthday with many guests that is a big setting. You clarify date and room directly with the venue.
Rooms, occasions and opening years come from Wikipedia and from the websites of the operators named (as of October 2026). Whether your date is free, only the venue in question can say.
Who I am
You celebrate in Paderborn, and I build the evening from music that suits your people. I learned the trade in a nightclub, private and corporate parties came later, and by now it's over 1450 events.
In a city with a large university and many clubs, you may have fellow students, teammates and relatives sitting at one table. I cut edits from older hits and current songs so that they all dance together. Tell me beforehand what you like and what shouldn't be played, then you can enjoy the party yourself.
How it works
Date and place are enough for me to begin with, and I get back to you the same or the next day. In a video call we then talk about wishes, schedule and set-up.

After booking you receive my mobile number, because a lot is settled fastest via WhatsApp. About a week before the party we go through requests, no-gos and schedule.
Before the guests arrive, I set up in about 40 minutes and do the soundcheck. I sort out open points with you or the venue so that nothing disturbs later.
For arrival, soft lounge music plays and gets conversations going. For you as the birthday guest and for special moments, I pick the right song for each.
The programme gets music too: quiet during dinner, a microphone for speeches and announcements, plus fitting pieces for games, surprises and the cake.
Once people dance, I take over completely, watch the mood and adjust the set to the guests until the last song has faded.

Current hits play alongside classics from many decades, and I check your requested songs one by one beforehand.
Set-up takes about 40 minutes on an area of around 2.5 by 1.5 metres, and after the last track I take everything away again. About 2.5 m width and 1.5 m depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the set-up spot, no stairs or lifts) set-up takes around 40 minutes.
Photo booth, uplights and live music can be added, and I take care of the coordination.

My system runs on battery for a short time, but for a whole evening I need a socket within reach. Send me a photo of the garden and I'll tell you where I should best stand.
I start with tracks every generation knows and raise the danceability as the evening goes on. If you give me a few favourite songs beforehand, I'll work them in at the right moments.
I bring my own system, and whether the venue's equipment is added is something you settle with me and the operator. With a photo of the stage I can tell you exactly what is additionally needed.
You send me both lists beforehand, and I sort your requests by time and mood. I consistently leave out the songs on your no-go list.

Transparency
Nothing but schlager and Ballermann for hours on end? I'm happy to let the odd crowd-pleaser run when your guests ask for it, because they belong at a good birthday party. Building my whole evening on them isn't for me, though. Nor am I a fit for techno sets that ignore the crowd, for request lists worked through rigidly, or for festivals with several stages. I leave that to colleagues who are good at it and enjoy it; I have nothing against them, it's simply not my field.
I play live, for guests with a feel for the moment: the transitions are tight, the song suits the hour, and nothing just runs on autopilot. That is why I would rather tell you in advance what I don't offer than have you annoyed on the night.
If that doesn't suit your party, I'm the wrong DJ, and that's perfectly okay. If it does, just get in touch.
